Great, glad to hear it. I just don't want others to misunderstand and think 35 Amps is a spec worth going after (more so since it probably indicates a less useful compromise for us). There's also mechanical fit and unprotected status in the mix of course.

Thanks.

Oh well in that case sorry for any misunderstanding to anyone that reads it.

Thanks so for your input and encouragement. I seek to maintain perfect balance and sometimes some things are too much of a good thing. For now I'm appreciative there are choices to ponder.

Thanks for 'seeing the other side'. Taking care of each other, how cool is that?

Yer welcome, Bro. That's what we're here for. Helping the other guy. You know you really want an Air of your very own.......and it's only money......

You'll sleep better after you place the order, too.

After a couple month's with the Air i think it's going, Don't get me wrong i love this thing, But it's not good at all to walk with going for 15 to 20 second draws, And i have an older one without the extra battery indication. I do however think i will re purchase some time this year, At this point i really need a pull out of pocket and get instant vapor portable so i just ordered one:clap:

Sorry to hear that, just a heads up usually the vape's that are pull out of pocket and hit require a long draw also to get the vapor going so you'll most likely be doing the same thing only without the 1 minute heat up time.

I ordered the AA from PV yesterday and its supposed to arrive today. This is my first vape so what do I need to know? Should I charge the battery fully before I do anything? Any tips? Any extra stems I need to order? I'm looking to maximize the amount of vape the AA produces as opposed to long sessions focused on taste. Thanks!

Charge your battery to full , it could take 2-4 hr's depending on how low it is. Grind your herb fine or medium , pack it into the stem and do not over pack or force your herb in there. Give it a very gentle tap to hold it in. Place the stem in the air , turn it on to white or green , wait for the light to stop blinking and start inhaling... Enjoy...

Hey Air-Heads, if PV gets any turbo (or shorty) stems in stock, can anyone post it in here so we can get right on it and order? Sometimes I don't have time to constantly check the site, or I'm just too drained from work. First to post it gets a huge like from me.

Somebody liked them, they sold 73 pretty quick, item is sold out now.

Bummer.

That means they won't be seen again until late Fall and the price will be at least twice as much, right?

I'm starting to get the hang of how these things work out.

I already have a session portable that's both conduction and convection, And that one get's better low effort draws while walking.

The specific instant i ordered was the Elevape sv, It only takes 8 second's, But i have a feeling the effort it takes is going to be up there with Air so we will see, And it's not all bad new's for the Air. I will re purchase in the future.

I use the Mflb battery cap's as well, They didn't even have any cap's when i got my Air, I'm not %100 on this but you may also be able to find these at a hardware store.
I really like the mflb battery caps , i load two or 3 stems up to go and pop them on and i am set. The one's arizer is selling look more flexible in the picture , i should have grabbed a few when i ordered my stems from them but i did not notice them on the site.

What do you guys think of this deal:

http://www.amazon.com/Bundle-Digicharger-Universal-Rechargeable-Certification/dp/B00KW2ZDHQ/ref=sr_1_1?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1423682832&sr=1-1&keywords=nitecore d2

It's the Intellicharger D2, with the car charger adapter, and a battery case for $19 shipped (no tax to most states).

Nice! Great find!

Just ordered one. Before all the fellow Airheads buy them out. :brow:

I have the the older D2 without the LCD screen. ( Which has been working great since Dec. 9 )

Just missed the Amazon Prime return by date. It was Jan. 31. :bang:

Oh well, i guess the
older charger will just stay in my car. ( No more back and forth for me :) )

The newer D2 with LCD will stay home. ;)

does anybody know where i can find aftermarket stem caps other than the ones that Arizer sells?

I buy them 100 at a shot (about $8 IIRC) from McMaster-Carr. Nominal 1/2 inch size. They sell both the normal vinyl type (like PV, MF, and the rest) but also sell high temperature ones as well, OK with full temperature for 10 minutes meaning you can cap it hot. I recommend them instead, a bit stiffer, but better with the heat.

I also recommend you cut them down to about half length, makes 'em easier to snap on and off:

The arizer caps are great, they come off way easier than the magic flight ones, and you can stand your tubed up while they wait to be cashed.
@PuffItUp
Hopefully you remember our email exchange about a week ago? Sounds like the high temp stem caps from arizer are worth carrying. Oh and the short air stems that arizer decided to release (60mm vs 70mm)

I ordered a set from PIU last week, they are basically the same as MFLB caps.

Additionally, I receivd my D2 from Amazon today. Similar to the package mentioned but with AA to D cell spacers instead of the battery case. That other bundle was going to take a few more days for delivery when I ordered. Same price, $19. Came with car adapter as well.
Still waiting on my spare batteries.... Nothing to test it with really. Don't want to take my only factory battery out without a replacement, lol!

I've also noticed my PV 14mm GonG is a bit wobbly. It doesn't seat securely against the heater chamber. Makes for a bit clunky of a hit from my PNWT.
Anyone else notice anything similar?

I know. I was saying they should carry the arizer ones.

Yes I have noticed wobbly GonGs. Its pretty normal with glass I think, my gongs had wobble. My stock 60mm air stem has wobble
