Hi, I'm afraid I broke my MV, it fallen from my bed on the floor and now there is a sort of alternative noisy buzz, not all the time but for several mns after to start it......

Although it is still working like a best.........wait and see, my warranty will end in August 2015, I get enough time! (even if I'm ready to pay to repair it!)

I purchased mine on thanksgiving with the 25% off discount but have not seen it since. I bought it off the Hermes website. I bet you have more luck that a retailer will post a discount, like vapornation with the esv?

Other than the slow turn around time it takes VN to process warranty returns/replacements they have been honest and up front with the situation. That leaves me with good feelings towards them.

Hopefully I'll have it by end of week and it's the keeper. Three's the charmer, right? :nod:

If it's silver with black trim, I think you will be good. It is my go-to device and received it from Hermes end of last year.

Sorry for double post. Tried to answer 2 questions.

Well... this does leave me a little bit torn lol. You see, I called @VaporNation last Friday and left a message asking if I could have a silver unit out of the existing inventory. I even offered to come by and pick it up to save them the shipping. They never called me back.

I mean, I'm super psyched for you, Smknbud, but it grinds my gears just a bit to hear they agreed to ship someone else the last silver unit without even bothering to call me back. Frankly, the only thing keeping me from calling them up to yell at them is knowing you've been waiting for a replacement even longer than me.

Anyway, glad to hear a replacement is on the way to you. And fingers crossed the third time's the charm!

@bigmouth as far as I know there is more inventory of the silver. Don't quote me though, but I'm pretty sure I'm right about that. No black units from what I was told, several gold available and silver in stock with no mention of how many units.

Sorry to hear that !ive dropped my core and battery several times without any apparent damage. I think I got a good unit. Which is great because I bought mine secondhand. If anything does go wrong I'm up :shit: Creek.

It depends on your preferences, but for me personally, the cordless aspect was a major selling point. I mean, I love my Cloud Evo, but it's cumbersome to use with guests because the cord always gets in the way. I also found myself more inclined to vape outside on a beautiful day with the MiniVap.

Just had two whole weeks off of work there and my MV seen some damned good usage! Still rocking!

I'd always say just get the full kit. I like to limit my options as little as possible.

I like the battery but it makes the MV feel cumbersome(when inverted) after using it on Ac puck mode for any decent length of time.

I started out with the portable version, (From V.N.) and then ended up buying the adapter when I placed an order for accessories through Hermes, cuz my baby is a Gold version & I had to request a Gold adapter as theres no option for a gold adapter on their website. If I could have purchased the full kit from V.N. I would have from the get go, but that wasn't an option. It's definitely worth it to have both IMHO, cuz I use it ALOT portable & use the adapter at night when home, like a small desktop.:clap:And if you're into water tools, it's nice for that as well, cuts the weight down. And it's always nice to have POWER when the battery does finally need recharging. :rockon: keeps my medicine available!!

I decided to get replacement to the Black Glass core rather than Green Teflon Core.
My experience with 2015 updated firmware Teflon core wasn't pleasant at all in terms of taste and efficiency. It tasted plain, or charred, and extracted mostly only at 1st heat setting. So I asked Hermes to build glass unit with re-calibrate to lower heat spectrum so can eliminate those over conduction and increase more convection, but I don't know how it will turn up..
Probably my unit was just malfunctioned so please don't misunderstand.
I will update when I receive my new unit.:tup:

Battery VS AC Power ....................................
I'm using a new method with great results. I warm the miniVAP up to temp on AC power and then will switch to battery power.

It takes a lot of power IMO to warm from 70 F room temp to 400 F and that is done with AC power.
Keeping it at 400 F with draws that drop the temp maybe 10 degrees does not take that much power.

With this method, the already big battery capacity seems to last forever between charges.

There are so many ways to use this vape

I think I'm gonna buy the accessories now, before vapornation gets them in. Cause a flexicone+ doesn't come with it. An I think I'll buy battery adapter, an some extra screen, an baskets.

Do they sell the special accessories kit in the US? It's got stainless steel baskets and screens...

Good news, everyone!

I just got an email from Vapor Nation. They received the shipment of new MiniVaps from Hermes! I also emailed Hermes, and according to Alfredo, the MiniVaps in this shipment have a "new heating technology" that's supposed to avoid the problem.
