Yer welcome. Another happy camper, cool. Neat little bubbler, isn't it? IMO it 'fits' the Air better than PNWT and the bigger guys do. Fun to roll over and over and trip on the no spill aspect as well.

Thanks for passing the good word, hopefully more of our fellows will get on board.....

Can anyone please let me know about how long it takes to re-charge the battery on the Air when charging it via the supplied wall outlet?

I got my Air today, plugged it in for about an hour and a half and the light was still blinking, i became impatient and unplugged and started using it.

I ordered it from a place that offered "free gifts" and one of them was an extra battery... But they forgot to include it as it wasnt in the box.

I own a nitecore D2 charger so i assume i can use it to charge the battery externally and it may be quicker... But right now im just curious about the average time to charge internally.

I also ordered the stem caps, a few more stems, another extra battery and a black condom. I got the black Air to match my EQ.

Beats me, I looked at it at one point but passed since I thought it hung out too far to the side. If it didn't overbalance the Air on it's own, it's sure an attractive way to knock it over. Which will lead to a spill.

I set the Air down too often to make this practical I think.

I also messed with the Nibbler from Delta 9 (now UP Tech?). Mating it up was a hassle, but it worked fine. IMO the unit from DHGate is the call (at least for me, for now). If you give this one a try and find I'm all wet (which means it won't get the house wet.....) please let us know?

They certainly should get on board, its cheaper than a backup battery! The "Halo" bubbles were instant without the use of cranberry extract. How do you empty yours? I just took it outside and blew through the mouthpiece. There has to be a better way, a syringe or turkey baster or ear pump thingy perhaps? Any tips from the pros?
That looks pretty sweet!
Damn!!! I succumbed to the planetvape deal and just placed an order for a air! I need to start cleaning out my collection some.
Feel free to send me whatever... ;)
Your gonna love the fresh Air!

Nevermind about my previous question on charging time.

I wish i read this thread better before ordering mine... Had no idea about ANY discounts when i ordered.

I think its worth $260... I just wish i paid less too LOL

Then i also ordered $75 more in accessories..... Hope this one lasts!!

Trying to decide if there is really any reason to get a PVHES now, Id love one of those water bubbler deals but cant see spending another 100+ on one. I watched a review before ordering my AA by vapefiend that said his was a budget bubbler........ but google-fu couldnt find anything in what id call the budget range when i already have over 300 invested in the damn thing lol.

All in all im happy with the AA though!! Im getting CLOUDS.

Gentle Friends,

I've found a better USB cable for the Air. It's not only tougher (remember the prior one was kind of frail in the cable part) but doesn't need modification (cutting the plug body back), it plugs into a USB on one end and your Air a meter or less away, no fuss no mess:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/cable-USB-4...ply-5V-Tablet-Android-Sony-PSP-/281234981407?

$2.20 each with $1.50 shipping. It got to me in less than 10 days with tracking. This cable and your computer USB port puts you in business. Mating it with a mains powered 'USB supply' and you have a home charger, mate it with an auto cigarette lighter USB supply and you've got a car charger. Mate it with a 'USB power bank' and you've got worry free recharges in the wilds.

Yep, impressive little guy. I bought a spare in case Ataxian comes over and breaks it for me...... Too cool to be without and at this price, why not have a spare?

I kind of cheated cleaning mine. I use PBW (not ISO) for cleaning. I attached a short tube with a funnel on the other end to the top. I then filled it as much as I could by dunking it in a glass of water in the sink. Then, putting it under the faucet, I ran hot water into it, flushing the old water out. Then I put a small scoop of PBW into the funnel and stopped the water when the detergent had been washed in (but not rinsed out). Five minutes later, a few minutes flushing with cold water left it squeaky clean and properly filled after a bit of shaking.

So I never actually emptied it out. I flushed the old water out, flushed the detergent in with hot water, then rinsed it free and was good to go.

Easy. Complete job while you do a dry session on the Air.

No need to spend that kind of bucks, check out the little DHGate bubbler above, under $20 shipped IIRC:

Just checking in, got my order off eBay from agracancorp. They had great CS, and took an offer of 175USD. It took a while to get it to the states however.

Came with 1x long stem with plastic tip, 1x long all-glass stem. Also came with 2 rubber stem bowl caps.

I've done one dry-run "red" temp; heat up and cool down. And just finished with a "green" run with herb.
So far its pretty great. :) Really impressed with this kind of power from its size. I like how familiar the 'stems' work, coming from a log vape background.

Look forward to further testing indeed.

@OF, under $10? LIES! Just kidding but looks like it might have gone up a few bones. No biggie and great deal anyways. Warning for everyone chinese new year is coming and there might be delays. If you order soon might beat it, otherwise just be ready to possibly wait longer than usual.

Also @OF I like the USB idea alot. Wonder why arizer didnt go for it from the get go? 1.2A @5V seems like would be perfect for microusb port. By using a usb port that puts out 500mah we should be ok? I always thought you want to replace with same or bigger amp, maybe this is a special case

EDIT: Also that bubbler that OF posted got me thinking. Wonder if aftermarket accessory makers could make a stem with bubbler built in? That bubbler posted above looks like it would be perfect for the job with a bowl built in (no leak and small).

Bummer, wouldn't want to lie to the troops...... I changed it to $20, still a great deal as you say. Sorry about that.

Edit: Hey, I just went back and checked, you can too get one for less than ten bucks......all you have to do is buy 99 spares with it...... I did figure out how I screwed it up, I paid just under $30 all right, but I got 2 not the 3 I recalled getting. So it's $15 each. I wanted 3 (one to use, one for the BIL, one to have a spare in case one of us decides to channel Ataxian).......now I gotta order another for a spare. When, oh when, will this madness ever end?

Not soon, I hope.

Who knows what drives decisions once the suits huddle up? Seems a natural way to do it to me, but you'd sell less replacement parts for sure (guys would replace just the cable for instance?).

Using a lower current port is fine, it only slows charging down. In fact, maximum charging current is about 800 mA so the 1.2 Amp supply isn't needed for full performance. I'm using a one Amp one and it's doing fine.

I kind of like the one piece idea, but suspect it'd be pretty expensive to make (more than the above bubbler, the stem you already have and an inch of tubing). There would also, I think, be some logistic issues. Like a drop of water ending up in the bowl would be a big problem? Reloads would be more of a chore I fear as well. Right now you pull the bubbler (and tube) off, lay it down (no leak, remember?) and load away.

Not to mention this way it takes Ataxian two passes to turn it all into scrap........ Since he seems unstoppable, slowing him down is the best we can hope for I think.

Thanks for catching the bogus information.

I don't recall there being much 'chatter' here, perhaps one or two? I don't really see how you could do it if the rubber gasket is there (it prevents a point loading on the end of the threads/edge of the cap).

If you have two 'hairline cracks' in "exactly the same place on each side" I'm guessing they're not cracks but mold break lines? Do they line up with the flats/edges on the MP? Normally the failure on such parts from over tightening the cap would be to crack it radially around the top (break the top half off, leaving the threads intact).

OF
Is cracked from bottom (screw part) on opposite sides reaching almost to the top (on the first one)
Cracked completely through.
The second one starts from above the screw part and goes all the way to the top, i know this as i gently pushed together and reclaim was pushed up, both sides of the hole.
The splits run up at a curve, not straight lines

Ok people, I've returned with pics of the aftermarket cases found at my local glass shop, for those interested - Here are pics of the small, medium and large. And to those wondering why I'm posting these pics or are interested in getting one, look back to my previous posts. First, a comparison photo with the AA to give you an idea:

20150209_102340.jpg

Large size (updated pic - comfortably fits unit, 2 slim canisters, 2 stems, 2 caps, 1 MP):

20150209_105948.jpg

Medium (fits unit, 2 stems):
20150209_103504.jpg

Small (fits unit only):
20150209_103224.jpg

After getting all 3 cases, I have to say I really like the small, and of course the large. The small is great because its compact enough to put in your pocket and the AA feels very tight and secure inside it (shockproof of course). The medium is nice too, but as you can see the tubes are tightly fit and may run a risk of breaking if you smash the sides of the case against something hard. The large is the best all around case because of versatility, room for accessories, and safe placement of the glass tubes. I know there are nicer cases out there such as the smell-proof ones posted a while back, but for the price you can't beat it. Yeah buddy.. You live! :brow:

EDIT: On the medium case, I figured out how to place the stems more efficiently:
20150209_124733.jpg

You can securely place the upper stem in the strap, and the lower stem will fit nicely in the pocket. And since the stems are right next to the 2 closing flaps, which are cushioned, I don't seen any possible danger to them. Now I can't decide which case I like better - I suppose I may need all 3 for different occasions.

Hello Airmaster :D

Thanks so much for doing this, and to such a great quality by including pictures and what you can fit.

From the above I think the medium would be great for me. But as you said it could be handy to have all 3, differnt situations need differnt levels of preperations.

Anyways thanks again, seeing as I have to order online I was going to order all 3, then send two back. Much much more effort than you're great description.

Ok am i the only one having problems with the plastic mouthpiece.
My 1st one split, down to me. Twisting turning etc.
But i was ultra carefull with my new one but have noticed (very fine, hairline cracks) in exactly the same place on each side.
Just me?

I am a tad surprised this has happened to you.

I am in the UK and got the shorter plastic tipped stem. I don't spin as you do when in use but when I tried to remove the plastic tip it wouldn't come off.

I used pretty large amounts of force, as well as gripping the glass with rubber and cannot remove it.

This has since been sorted by Vapefiend sending me a whole new stem. But yea I am surprised as I have put some serious force into seperating mine and no cracks.

Like i said i used to turn the 1st plastic piece. But used no force at all with the second. I too am surprised as renders the stem as useless
I too bought from vapefiend, maybe i should contact them. Wish i could add a picture

Really strange as the amount of force I put into mine.

I would contact them, their customer service is great.

You have only used your stems in the way they were intended to be used so I'm pretty sure they will arrange something. Their customer service has been a good experiance so far for me.

Ah, so! Perhaps this is the answer.......

Consider the materials. I suspect we'd find that the plastic expands faster with temperature than the glass does? That is the cap gets slightly looser when hot. Then you gently tighten it while turning, removing all the slack, so that when it cools again it's tighter than when you put it on? Screws and really 'rotary wedges' in a machine sense, very powerful potentially (consider a C clamp or vice) and the extra strain is added when cooling down.

This is, ironically, how snakes kill by constriction. A snake is no where near strong enough to 'crush the life' out of it's prey. Instead it simply tightens up it's grip as the prey exhales creating slack, suffocating the prey. The snake never forces anything, just tightens when it can and holds firm. Something the plastic cap could easily do I think.

I suggest that your (even very gentle) rotation by the cap is tightening it up again when hot, setting up unusual stresses? For sure something is in play to explain why you've got two such failures and few if any of us have even a single one?

Thinking out loud, you don't have to listen......

The stress would 'collect' at the highest point(s) in the thread I'd think. Pretty random, you'd probably need a lot of failed units to find much of a pattern. Also, since they're injection molded, I'd think there's some flaws in the caps that normally wouldn't matter but could be the local source of the start of the fracture.

The stress could be linear ('screwed down too tight') or radial (the 'ring' of the threaded part gets smaller in diameter against the solid glass belos). My money's on radial, FWIW

It occurs to me that normally the rubber gasket should provide some 'give' here, you are using it, right?

just 1 more question lol, is the vaping high more on towards the head or body? or is it different to the strains your using?
This topic is of interest to me as well.... so now that you have had the AA for a while now..... can you tell me what you think...... are you feeling the body buzz portion or does in lean more towards the head buzz?

TIA :peace:

This all comes down to the temperature you are vaping at and the quality of material you are using . The air is def a great machine to get you medicated and works very well. Here is a good read on some of the effects of vaporizing at different temp's - [vaporpedia link removed due to malware]

So, since it seems the usual suspects didn't chime in on this one, I guess I will.

First off, yes, it depends heavily on strain IMO. And on vaping temperature.

Strains naturally high in CBDs (as opposed to THC) will tend to be medically useful while not as mentally incapacitating looked at from the MMJ perspective. Saving up ABV run at lower (say 375 degrees), can have a very heavy 'couch lock' component when run later at higher temperatures. Same bud, just different temperature therefore different THC/CBD ratio in the vapor.

High CBD strains (say with more CBD than THC) can effectively medicate you to a level you can function without making you too stupid for dealing with the straights.

I suggest experimenting. Even the bad results (whatever you consider that to be) are still pretty good.....
