I have been 'Queued' for 7 days now.

:|

I have printed and read my Lily instructions 50+ times..... I'm not sure how much more of this I can take.

I blame you lot. ;)

Yikes, 7 days?? Welp I go to college in SoCal and I'm about ~40 mins from Tommy in Orange County, so hopefully that translates to quicker shipping. One can dream right...

I'm making a cartoon out of the instructions using only mashed potato. Still haven't figured out the significance of that flat topped mountain they've hidden in there.

The stress of the wait may make me spontaneously combust!

Lucky order #547.

What's yours?

I'm actually sitting relatively pretty because I came to my senses and ordered a Daisy before the rush came on.

Still, so excited.

I can see there are quite a few newcomers to the world of fire. Don't be afraid. Fire is your friend.

Butane is cheap, safe and easy to use. The quest for the perfect lighter can become a passion of it's own......

532, ordered on 2/1. Ordered the kit, received an email this morning asking for choice of wood, cherry, walnut, or maple. Chose walnut.

Does everyone else's Lily have 2 "turbulator"/carb holes? Looks like whoever made mine thought about a third but stopped. You can see a slight drill tip mark on the outside.

@TriiKLe Why is my Lily from Montana? How many "turbulator" or carb holes is it supposed to have?

Order 545 on 2/3. The Billings, MT, drill tip mark is disturbing. I hope they haven't been subbed out.

Thats what I'm thinking and I don't like it. @TriiKLe please clear this up.

Isn't that just a knot in the wood?
In my opinion its an initial drill bite. There are radial marks around it that suggest this as well. I know they don't photgraph well but I do my best. I'm more concerned with the # of turbulators or whatever. Does anyone else have two?

The original Daisy came from Billings Mt. for sure. Has anyone actually received a lily or daisy shipped from somewhere else ?

I just had a look at the official instructions. They are a missing a few details that Tommy gave me.

The air intake on the side is the turbulator. The one at the front is the carb. The intention is actually to leave both open for lower temp hits and to cover the carb for higher temp hits.

One on front one on side here. I thought in the video link Tommy sent me he was using side hole as carb, but I'm not sure how much of a difference it would make as the only difference that I can tell between holes is location.

If you have an issue why not email Tommy and allow him the time to respond and try to help? In my experience email is the way to get ahold of him.

I can't tell from pics what that is but I think he will replace if you contact him.

Edit the other pic shows a knot right below the side hole too.

Give me a break! That is a fucking knot NOT a drill strike. LMAO!
Ok fine, but do you have 2 turbulator/carb holes?
