Overall length is an inch, if you look at the graphic it shows the inner blue to be about half an inch . . .

Thanks for your reply. Couldn't find these instructions last night due to a dead link from earlier in the forum but have found it on the triihouse website now.

A half inch inner flame is a small flame is a small flame for me. I think I'm taking this fast draw thing overboard. I don't know why I go to extremes.

@vaporonly, I will try your technique. I think it will work well for me.

I read through this thread for the third time last night - not a bad word said about Daisy - all glowing endorsements mostly from experienced vaporists.

This one could be a VAS killer!

I find it pretty amazing that small hole has any effect at all. It is so tight it must let very little air in. I don't understand it but, I'm sold on triihouse vapes. Great design all the way around.
bro, how do you use the carb hole, do you tap tap tap or what? and how many small holes are there in daisy, and if it gets clogged up, will that be a problem?

Hope this question isn't too stupid and vague, but...

To anyone who owns or has used the Lilly AND the Daisy, which device do you prefer, under what circumstances and why? :-)

Just sold my Volcano and I'm purchasing one of these suckers later today, can't afford both and I'm just confusing myself over which one to get now it's come to actual purchase time :-)

yes it will get clogged and yes it will be a problem. daisy requires a good thorough cleaning with a new screen usually like once a month or so for me. when she's clean she whistles. once that whistle don't happen i know it's time for a scrubbing. after the scrubbing it's like a new vape and it's all smiles.

He was talking about the small pin-hole on the front of Daisy's heater section, I believe it adds turbulence to the heated air and is responsible for Daisy's even extraction and beloved whistle.

In my experience it doesn't get clogged, but if it did, a small pin could poke it clear.

Space is the Place
The "turbulator" hole is above and in a different block of wood then the herb chamber so no worry with clogging. Screens seem to get clogged pretty quick but it only takes a couple minutes to pull it out and torch it clean then reinstall. I still have the original screen i started with in mine, torching it every 2-3 days keeps it like new.

All comes down to personal use and what you are looking for.

I'm paraphrasing but Tommy calls the daisy an unplugged desktop unit and the lily an unplugged portable.

The daisy could be used anywhere but lily will go in your pocket easier

If your looking to replace desktop unit then daisy might be better fit.

Thx for your reply. Not only is my purchase gonna be replacing the Volcano (which I don't really like much, but does its job), but it'll also be replacing my Pinnacle Pro (which I don't really like much either, but similarly, it does job :-)), hence me now getting the purchase wobbles :-)

Both only get used at home.

EDIT: Sod it, Lilly's on her way, I'll stop embarrassing myself* :-D

*for now

I had a major brain fart today. I was pretty vaked right after a bowl with the Daisy. I started to load the bowl again when I picked up my lighter and torched the bowl!

FUCK! I was shocked that I did this. The funny thing is I have looked at the daisy many times wondering when I would do this stupid thing — combustion! Argh!

:puke:
I can't tell you how many time I pick up my water pieces with my torch in hand before I realize the cap in NOT on the WPA. I rarely actually hit it, but it has happened...

Of course, not being the first hit of the evening helps that a lot.

Exactly

Personally I don't think it is really needed. It clears pretty damn quick once you stop the flame. The carb does add a bit of pleasure. Reminds me of old bong days only much cleaner with the Daisy!

I have a method of tap tap tapping the carb during the inhale, I find I can get bigger clouds this way, probably because the load darkening is more even (and dark)

try it sometime

Just purchased the Daisy (lily can wait). This will be my second butane vape, first being the vapman (shipping to me). When I purchased the vapman, I made sure to buy their vapman lighter because I heard good reviews. With the Daisy, do you think the vapman lighter will suffice? Can't wait to pack this heavy and take some monster vapor rips. Art with functionality has gotten me into the wooden vapes.

As stickstones states, I live in a VAS bubble. I can't help it. Even though all these purchases can be pricey, to be off painkillers (car accident) is awesome. That habit in one month cost me more than my whole vaporizer collection. MMJ is such a great alternative and helped me get off of painkillers. If only their was more research into the medicinal benefits of mmj, the list would be endless (one being a way to get off prescription painkillers, which is the most abused drug out there)
