... Looks like they might end up sending me a brand new Mighty as some of you received after sending in for repair.

My Mighty was just recalibrated by S&B, and returned to me. It was repaired/updated and shipped back on the same day it was recieved by them. While it was not replaced with a brand new unit, the pass through and battery indicator are now working fine. :clap:

Can you explain what you mean by updated? I have a lot of Vapes and if there's an update that improves this little beast I'm all for it. Please advise.

From what i see on fc and my limited experience with their cs, they are sub par.
Even vape critic voiced his concerns here. It takes them a long time to respond to customer service inquiries and making people pay shipping on a product that has some issues (early adopters) is not good to me.

I also wonder how they will honor the plastic chipping around the top of the unit. I baby my mighty and have one small chip so far. I heard here somewhere in the crafty thread they denied warranty on this.
THAT IS TOTALLY UNNACCEPTABLE TO ME.

We want to continue to use/love/promote your vapes s&b please step up now and do whats right. Your great vapes need great support
I have been babying mine too. I try not to open and close when the lid is too hot. Hearing the nightmare about CS, I'm just hoping that nothing breaks. But this device taught me how a desktop will feel.. It's a powerhouse.

That just happened...
Here is another of my favorite mods.

The stock bowl is pretty big and the alternative is to use the liquid pad to make up the difference. It has a large thermal mass and tends to gunk up quickly. This works much better.

Take a coarse mighty or crafty screen and cut it halfway across.

Pack about 1/3 bowl and press the sliced screen as a lid over top of your herb. Use the orange pick for screen removal. It doesn't get dirty because of the complete extraction.

How long was the whole process? bout to send mine out tomorrow for recalibration.

Great idea I'm gonna try this tonight, I've been using the oil pad and while it is very effective, it takes up a bit too much space and makes screwing in the cooling unit a bit harder

The screen is slightly oversized so the slice allows it to fit, stay in place and be easily removable for repeated usage. The orange pick is ideal for repeated insertions and extractions.

Hey I don't have the JB Kwik you mentioned in your video in my area, I was wondering if people could help me find something else appropriate, the best I could find was these two things..

do you guys think the silicone 401 would work well?

i can get basic epoxy stuff but i'm worried about using it cause it says it weakens at 60degrees Celsius

Could you post a pic of the chip or at least where it got chipped please? Just so that I can check mine.

As much as I love my Mighty it doesn't feel like it's going to last all that long without needing to be repaired. Maybe a revised model will be released?

Yes man. I feel the same way. I was scepticle of plastic from the word go. But this mighty does vape so well ;)

I will post a pic tonight when i get home.

and it tastes so great. even the vapes with all glass vapor paths etc I tried haven't been better.

the only negative from the plastic is that its fragile.
taste however, is completely neutral imo

@MGG I'd bet my last dollar that the stuff on the right you pictured will hold it together for making the WPA attachment.

Those 2 part putty mixers are no joke I've literally never had one fail, even the ones that are on underground lines under shitty ass roads.

Check out this old combustion bong that got wrecked at a party but was fixed, the joint broke off and the base was left with a massive crack which leaked water severely.

Now it works fine and does not leak and even after using harsh cleaners(ISO PBW Acetone) the putty is still in place rock hard.

The crack in the base slowly over time has extended past where I originally puttied it, But sine this sees little use I have't gotten around to buying another stick and putting more putty over it since it's not leaking.

Its not very easy to work with tho, my advice to make it smoother (rather than finger printy like you see on the joint) is to mix the putty with your hands gloved, then once it's active and uniform color swap to new gloves or bare hands.

Mixing it makes your hands sticky and then impossible to cleanly and smoothly apply the putty, you need a clean slate but will NOT have time to wash your hands.

Also let it cure a day or more and apply outside, the putty releases some harsh fumes when you mix it and as it cures.

So yeah, I would bet my last dollar that stuff will hold your 2 parts together fine.

Since my new Mighty wouldn't show a full solid 6 bars of battery upon charging, I emailed S&B about it. They responded within 12 hours asking me to send it to them for a recalibration. I did just that, spending about 18$ to ship it out. So far I'm pleased with S&B's quick response in regards to customer service. I'd rather send it directly to them to fix than return it to my store, wait for them to get more Mighty's in stock, then chance getting another problematic unit. Looks like they might end up sending me a brand new Mighty as some of you received after sending in for repair.

I got my response from S&B they're asking me to send in my unit for a recalibration also but because mine has a couple of extra problems, should I ask if they can send me in a new one rather than it being recalibrated because I'm worried about the same problems happening again... or would that be a lot to ask for lol
