Pre Stoned, Thanks that grinder looks hectic.
My 4 piece doesn't get that super fine grind that works so well in the LB so i think i might have to pick one of those up
plus being pocket size is awesome aswell.

On another note I ordered a Car adapter for the PA and it worked for 1 trench and just died on me and hasn't worked since. My other car power cords still work and the PA still works w/ normal power supply so it has to be the cord it self

you think its covered by warranty?

So I just got a launch box today and already I've lost the rubber band. It doesn't seem to me that it is necessary to keep the LB closed, but I haven't exactly had time to test that theory out...does the "latch" become loose over time or should I not stress so hard about a rubber band? hah...

mudstar,
Yeah I wouldn't worry about the rubber band unless you keep it in your pocket a lot.
I lost mine as well and mine did not have that lock and i hardly notice it
but even then you can buy them for a 25 cents or what I did is just ask them to throw some in if order more stuff from blisssville

Anyone figured out a good cheap pocket carrying case for this yet? Looking for something under $10 that holds everything securely.

I bought two cases on Amazon, one meant for a digital camera and one for a 4.3" GPS unit. I'm thinking about buying a little foam padding and trying to make a cut out for everything I'll need. I'll report back with pictures once these arrive. Paid $7 total for the pair of cases so even if I can't get either to work I'm not out a bunch of money.

Does anyone have any cool on the go stealth setups for their magic flight? I've been struggling to come up with a way to use my camelbac backpack with the water pouch in the bak to act as a perc and have the vapor come out of the stock water bottle mouthpiece. I'll figure it out soon, and if not I'll just drop the water cooling idea and just do a straight line from the MF to the mouth piece.

The 5" will hold your MFLB and a couple batterys in padded comfort. If you want to hold the charger too I suggest moving up to the 7 or 8. These bags come in tons of colors and are made of hemp too! The larger bags (7&up) also have a smell/spill proof pouch.

On rubber bands:
Almost any rubber band will work on the MFLB as long as it's flat enough so it doesn't roll off. Just wrap it around a few times.

Rubber band vs. new "Click Lock"... I found that the older version of the LB that used the rubber band to keep closed in the pocket worked o.k. until I pulled it out of my pocket - then the rubber band often rolled off the LB. This is mostly when wearing jeans or something with a tighter pocket than my usual baggy shorts.

The new Click Lock works great and is an improvement that several of us were modding our boxes with before Magic-Flight incorporated that into the design. If you have an older box that doesn't have the click lock, here's the link to one version of the mod, which both willieR and I were working on in parallel without knowing it!
Note: the little ramp that I ground into the underside of the plexi cover isn't necessary, it turns out. If you set the brass pin low enough, the plexi will just slip over it as you slide it shut.

Thanks for filling me in Vito, now I know exactly why you do what you do! and i fully support it! more power to ya brother! does vaping or eating ABV help more with you nausea? or cant you tell since you often combine them for a more complete/balanced effect?

@Deez-
ABV does not help with the nausea. It does help with pain and ability to sleep.
The vaping helps nausea a bunch... even at veru low temps.
At 360 I feel the urge to "lose my lunch" diminish after 2 hit.

Hey thanks for the case input guys. Only thing I'm worried about with those is that it looks like everything is just loose, and since my main use for the case would be snowboarding I don't know if things like the stem would be able to handle an encounter with rocks/trees/rails/other things I huck my meat into.

Wow !
That's what I call a set-up .
I know I may trashed talk a little about the LB on a different thread .

But Mr. Vito ,
You are the " Godfather " of the Vape-world .
You wouldn't spend all that money on accessories if the unit is Crap .

It looks like the PA is the "difference maker " ?
Please advise on the PA .
1. There's only one version of the PA , correct ? ( no old or new types ? ) ( beta ? )
And they all come with that adjustment power wheel ?

Thanx again .

For hard case I would go with a Pelican!

Looking at Pre-stone's grind .
I've never seen it that fine grind in any of the LB vids .
They always look leafy , even when they show you the ABV afterwards .

Which is better ?
Do the fine grind of ABV for extra hits only ?

Finer is better. I make the grind sometimes powdery like. Not bad.
The power adapter was in beta.

wow id say thats a pretty fine grind...almost looks like kif when the screen has too large of a micron size & a lot of extra matter shreds through...

very thorough...

btw, for my mflb, first i grind the ganja through my 4pc cheap ebay grinder (gold color), vape it through the mflb, then put it aside.

finally, whenever im ready to use the stuff i set aside, i break out my orange plastic grinder that comes with the volcano & that shreds it up sooooooo finely...i just started using that grinder (cuz i had this other one with more layers to collect stuff), and it works much better than i originally thought it would. im impressed.
Yea I have been looking for a volcano grinder forever! Although I don't think you can buy the actual one separate so I'll have to eventually get the volcano too lol

Hey, just got my 4 pack of Powerex 2700's from Naturescapes.net ($12.95, free shipping) and they peeled with no problem. No glue at all! Old batch maybe? I'll let you know what the C9000 rates them after break in...

They all come with the wheel.. and they are no longer in "beta"
They can be gotten at this time only at: PA for MFLB
The PA sure changed things.... but it is not the deal breaker. The MFLB was great with batteries!
The PA did double the potential, and make the MFLB twice the unit it was before.
The MFLB has the most reasonably priced accessories of any vape on the market.. So collecting what I have there on the table was a true joy!
