Discontinued Lily vaporizer by Triihouse

I've been trying to figure this out since the Daisy came out... How do these 2 vapes work? is it just heated air from the torch going straight through the herb? If so does using refined N-butane negate any carbon monoxide or other chemicals created as a result? Can you just use any small torch with any ol butane? I've had this bouncing around in my head for a while, and have been curious- the Daisy is very appealing.. but I really can't figure it out

I think Daisy and Lily are powered by l-o-v-e. :luv:

Much thought seems to have gone into Daisy's design, every part of it, I am sure there is some science behind the way the pieces and apertures interact.

Even if the secret is unobtainium, it works effectively, that much is certain to me. Tommy says it is safe...I believe him.

I'm thinking a smaller lighter, like the one's we all got with our Loutuss. Am I wrong?
Just like with portables, smaller size is good for stealth, but otherwise I don't see a plus. Smaller torches are usually cheaper but not as reliable. They also hold less butane and will get hotter to hold the longer the flame is going. I tried a small cheap torch back when I used the Supreme Vaporizer, and rejected it for both reasons. There may be better options these days, but the limitations still apply.

I Don't believe there is carbon monoxide as torches burn clean(why there's no soot produced) so there's no problem with what you inhale, the byproducts of a torch flame are CO2 and H20 or so I've been told.
True. No carbon monoxide is produced by the burning of butane. Even with a regular butane lighter (non torch), the only bad byproduct is partially burned carbon, not CO. A torch burns all the butane and the only byproducts are C02 and water vapor.

Well, I'm convinced.
Now I want one of each!

Yip. The only thing that really made my mind up in the end was price. It's not really a purchase I've enjoyed tbh, lack of a video, blah blah blah.

I mean, I'm pretty damn sure I won't be disappointed but I just can't come up with enough criteria to choose between em and want both now :-)

Only you can prevent ganja fires.
From what I've read it seems like the biggest differences are the size of bowl and the size of hit (both being larger in the Daisy) @emmdeemo

I could be wrong though, as there hasn't been much testimonial for the Lily.

To be honest after using Daisy for 5 1/2 months I wanted a Lily before there where even any pictures or real description other than a mention that 'it's smaller and works like daisy'. Ordered as soon as I could get money into my paypal account, can't wait to have it in hand.

Since triihouses Daisy is so awesome I expect only good right outta the gate from lily.

In a bit of a dilemma guys, help me out please. I've owned the hammer for less than a week, and the igniter went out this morning. Guess I just got a faulty one. Anyhow, I can still return it and get a refund, or exchange. For now, I'm opting for a refund. I loved how efficient it was, and the lovely clouds I could produce from a tiny bit of herb.

My VAS is kicking in though, and I kind of want to get my refund and purchase a Lily. Do you guys believe the Lily warrants me to ditch the Hammer? Is efficiency similar to say a log vape? I'm not a huge cloud chaser, but occasionally like feedback on my exhales, is the Lily satisfying in that aspect?

This thread needs some action videos.

I'm thinking of something with Chuck Norris in it.

Lily takes a half inch screen. That's the same as Lotus isn't it?

Your Honest torch should work fine for Lily.

There was this saying back in the 80's...TITS!

I have plentiy of both. Torches and screens that is. My moobs are normal sized.

The little I've heard about the Hammer has been positive, but if it relies on a single heat source I don't know how itnterested I'd be. I have a hard enough time keeping my stable of pocket torches running, that's why I have way more than one. They really are the weak link in the equation.

Alright guys, figured it out. I'm going to return the hammer for a refund as planned, and in the meantime, I've already purchased my Lily Vaporizer Kit in Cherry, with USPS 2-Day priority mail. Hopefully it gets here sometime this week. Feel free to ask me any questions. I'm in SoCal btw, if that matters.

What type of butane do you use? Do you run them dry before refills? What price range do they fall under.
I'm trying to invest in a good touch lighter for the lily.

I use FasFil 5X $37.78 on amazon.com....shipping is where it get's expensive. A can will last you a very long time.

The ocassional purge is required, but I just add bute if the flame seems a little weak. I wrote up a quick tutorial over on the Daisey thread.

Many discussion on lighter throughout this forum. Read thru the Lotus, VG, VM, Dasiy threads and you'll find a wealth of knowledge. There is also a ligher discussion on the vapor related equipment board.

I've had the most luck with this:

Holy shit that image is huge. It's Chuck Norris sized. Sorry mods. Anyway, I got this widely available ligher from miniinthebox. $13ish if I recall correctly.

I've found the 'torch' that comes in the lily kit and that triihouse sells on their site for $5 works great. I've been using one daily for near 6 months with Daisy/Lotus and it has yet to act-up or fail on me where as any "torch lighter" made for cigars and pipes I've picked up in the last few years only lasted for a few days using 'em with a vaporizer( before I got daisy in July the only vape I tried a torch with was the vapor genie) seems these cigar/pipe store'Torch lighters' aren't made to be ignited as often as these cheap torches (i picked up some of the same ones from china as backups and got 5 for $15 delivered all still sitting new and unused).

right now I'm using Iolite butane (bought a case for $40) and it's working great in my torches, Hammer and wispr. I have always had good luck in the past with vector and newport brands also. I never run a torch 'dry' and refill when It gets down between 1/3 - 1/2 full and with pretty heavy daily use still only refill every 2-3 days.

Over the years i know I spent a couple hundred bucks on torch lighters and none of them were as functional or Durable as the $3-$5 'power' brand 1300c butane Torch you can get with the lily right from Triihouse when you place an order.

:peace:

In the short while I had my hammer, I used Colibri butane with it, and refilled around 1/4 full, sometimes less. It burned really well, and the butane smell was very faint when used indoors. They sell a 2x large can (300mL each) pack on Amazon for $17 with prime shipping, and a 3 pack with smaller cans (~90mL each) for $14 with prime.

Even though I haven't been able to try the Lily or Daisy yet, I do keep seeing this around, so..

I don't know if they ever change the page/link- but if these are the real deal, maybe we should save this for people in the future.

@Grim Chiclets Those are the ones i got, took a while to get here by slow boat(2 months).

@Beluga beat me to the punch on the shipping speed but would still recommend picking up a handful of 'em AFTER you get one or two from Triihouse to tide you over, they're worth the wait for pretty near the same price as a mini bic at a seven- eleven or drugstore in my eyes.

With a few of these torches and case of butane and the Lily/Daisy all I have to worry about is finding Herbs to Vape for the next year at least, and that's a really good thing in my book.

Edit; Right now I have one drawer in my bathroom (only room with a spare outlet) that holds 11 different battery chargers for my vapes, I'm starting to find charging vapes to be a pain in the ass when you have VAS in a bad way.

Got an email from Triihouse about an hour ago, confirming my purchase from yesterday. However, my order status is queued :\
