Discontinued Haze Dual V3

I cut my own wicks and it works great. I do not think that you would need it.

What do you use, cotton balls or what? What do you suggest?
LOL I am new to E-Liquids. Ordered some organic E-Liquid from VelvetCloud.com. And
just bought some Vegetable USP Glycerin from Amazon. Can't wait to try these out!

I use organic cotton balls but you need to make sure that you do not heat them up when they are dry. Heat them up after placing the liquid in. You can get them on eBay cheap.

Hey i just wanted to let you know if your just looking to vape e-liquid a pen style e-cig would prob be better for you. I don't own a haze but have been following the thread bc i like it and it may be a future purchase but from what i gather the ability to vape your e liquid with this machine is just a bonus. Imo its not really optimal for it as you have to go through a heat up time to vape it and than shut down. I feel a e-cig is better suited for this as you can have on demand vaping with the push of a button. I do like the fact the haze can do e-liquid but i feel is better suited for dry herbs and concentrates. the pen style e-cigs are pretty cheap and work well with liquid , i have seen them as low as $5 and can go up to the hundreds but i have tried several and was even happy with the cheap $5 versions.

Yeah I agree. If you are an exclusive e-juice user, you should never spend this kind of money on a portable, unless you are in it for health reasons. I think, the e-juice capabilities of Haze simply add fun to the game. We are all primarily dry herb and concentrate users here and the ability to flip between one and the other within the same session is the main feature of the Haze. I myself use the e-juice rarely compared to what I use on a daily basis.

@Justpassedu Thanks for the advice.
I know exactly what you are saying as I just experienced the differences between the Haze and the V2Pro Series 3 Vapor Pen. I bought the V2Pro first, but it was difficult for me to draw from and the Loose Leaf cart was so small and would burn my bowl so fast and really wasted my herb without me feeling very medicated. So I researched and because of this thread, I bought the Haze.

Before I returned the V2Pro, I tested out the E-Liquid I purchased with the pen. This was the first time I ever used E-Liquid and it was nicotine free.
Anyway, I tested it in the Haze and compared the two.
With the Pen, I get amazing huge cloud vapor.
Not so much with the Haze.
Tho when I vaped the liquid with the Haze I feel like I just vaped my medical marijuan. I get a medicated feeling with a burst of energy and focus. I was surprised.
The Pen did not effect me this way at all.
Vaping medical marijuana in the Haze also gets me medicated on a scale of 10 and beyond.
The Pen made me feel like a 6 or 7.

So I knew then I made the right decision in getting the Haze. It's magical. It has Powers, lol.
Also, the Grape flavor of the E-Liquod waz really faint with the Pen.
Wth the Haze it literally felt like I was sipping grape soda from a straw. Like I could feel and taste a stream of liquid flowing over and down my tongue. Loved It!
So the V2Pro pen got returned.

I only smoked cigs as a teenager so I am only curious to try E-Liquids as a fun treat. No nicotine, just the sweet flavor.
So the Haze will be perfect for me.
The E-Liquid I ordered is All Vegetable Glycerin so I read that should produce more vapor.
So that should be fun.
I also plan to try or attemt to make marijuana E-Liquid with the Vegetable Glycerin I purchased, or even try to make hash oil!

The Haze also looks more stylish and masculine holding it to your lips to draw. The Pens aren't so flattering, lol
Just being silly.
Well hopefully one day you will get to experience the Haze for yourself.
Take it easy

Glad your enjoying man , that's what its all about although if your getting a high off of e-liquid from vaping it something else may be in there as e-liquid with no nicotine should not have this effect. I would look into this more bc it may not be healthy. wishing you all the best. post some pics when you get a chance.

Well it was V2 Cigs brand liquid. I had read they were high quality.
Who knows.
I will have to see how the organic all VG E-Liquid I ordered effects me when it arrives.
Hopefully it will feel the same, cuz I enjoyed it, lol.
But definitely don't wanna be doing something harmful. I am à little weary about the whole inhaling E-Liquid thing since it is relatively new and untested for long term effects.

I just found these organic non-bleached cotton puffs at Amazon
and alot of Vapors left 5 star reviews about using it for wicks.
Gonna get me some

Hey guys, I went through the best of tread and im really temped like @Justpassedu. Credit to @NickDlow to have talked to me about it in the 1st place a while ago. And congrats @Haze Vaporizers to have developped an innovative vaporizer giving a vas episode :D

One topic I havent seen covered are the micro loads. Can you vape micro loads efficiently? I like 60-70mg loads in my solo glass stem with a big domed screen. I usually vape it at 400F over about +-14 minutes. A full 150mg load with a small domed screen takes about +-20 minutes. Can I fix a can with a convection or conduction screen in the same fashion as a domed screen in my solo stem? Or some other way? That would be a vas killer if I cant vape micro loads in an efficiency comparable to my solo.

http://torontovaporizer.ca/haze-vaporizer.html
199CAD!!! If its a v2.5, and a fellow fcer confirms me I can vape small loads efficiently, im pulling the trigger now.

Finally, just a suggestion. I remember reading on fc a certain cancerous byproduct (benzen iirc) starts being produced at around 400F. Trace amounts, nothing alarming like smoking. But its the reason I vape at 400F. I "logically chose this temp for max efficiency and while being max healthy. I do indulge in high temp vaping as well, just not all the time. It would be nice to have this setting in a future version.

Thanks everyone to have made this tread highly informative

I like my Haze a lot but it's definitly not a cloudy vape even if you can get a very dark abv, it's more a sipping device than a big hitter, it's very efficient but it extract the goodies slowly imo, but not a bad thing at all!
it needs to be cleaned regulary, especially the vapor path, I didn't cleaned mine since I got it and build up resin was really difficult to remove, there was a ton of reclaim into (I kept the stems out all the time but I cleaned it cause for a recent car trip it's better to be able to keep the stem in the unit as designed)!

About taste, imo it quickly degrades with flowers, convection screens help to keep the taste better, I love the concentrates taste with this vape!

I received XL batterries and free cans (thanks Haze!) but I have a question, can I charge a classic and a XL both in the charger?

No I cut a conduction screen an just covered the herb under the lid. The post/tutorial is in the best of thread I believe.

As I was writing this post my left chamber COMBUSTED!!!!
XjkMMz4.jpg

:puke::puke::puke:
It was a herb/shatter combo in my can like usual. I'm going to clean it when I get home and run the left oven again to see if it repeats. Hopefully not!

Yup.. this is happening to me as well. Quite bummed about it since I've already had to return my first haze after only a week or two because it started to form cracks where the door latches in all the way to the heating chambers... maybe that was actually caused by too much heat as well!?

So because I live in Canada and it was over the holiday season one month later and a $20 customs fee saw me get a new 2.5 unit. But only the bottom bowl is suitable to use now since the top one gets so ridiculously hot it starts combusting stuff or close to it even on setting 1! my herb comes out looking black like yours while the bottom bowl is a normal even brown on same setting / draws / material. Man.. I gotta pay another customs fee and wait another month and theres no guarantee the 3rd unit is gonna be a better experience. >_<

I'm almost starting to regret going with the Haze.. but for a heavy user I don't see any better technology in the portable market (WHEN IT WORKS) and I've spent $100+ on accessories, so I guess I'll give it a 3rd shot =/ I haven't contacted Haze about it yet as I'm just annoyed and went into procrastination mode since I got one working bowl; I wanna spend a few more days/weeks with that one bowl before sending it back to the Haze people, again. Speaking of procrastination, I've been meaning to post about this for a week or two now but just didn't :D Saw your post and felt like I needed to share this tho.

I'll need to get this fixed before the Bluesfest this summer tho! Haze will be perfect for a festival =)

EDIT: One more thing I should mention about my experience is once I was testing wtf was up with the problem bowl and started a session on temp 1. after like 2-3 draws it felt a lot higher than temp 1. After the 3-4 draw you can actually see smoke/vapor escaping the mouthpiece with the unit just sitting on a table in-between draws! So then I quickly notched the temp up to the 4th one, and the thing blinked like once maybe twice and then was solid lights meaning it was that hot already, ugh =/ Herb was black, tasted like ass.

Using a haze with only one bowl just takes all the fun out of this thing :(

During some random browsing earlier in the week I noticed torontovaporizer was selling both 2.5 and 2.0 with the 2.0 marked as such and on sale for $199. Now it seems as tho there is only the $199 deal and they took off the note saying its a 2.0... I would guess that its a 2.0!

Not a cloudy vape? This vape is all clouds. The Haze is the most forgiving vape I have ever used. It doesn't matter what grind consistency, or even if have you moist material. I have achieved consistent clouds Im sure the rest of the crew can back me up here. Im not trying to derail the thread and make it all about the clouds, but someone who doesnt own a Haze needs to know that the Haze V2.5 is very much a cloud producer. I prefer the Haze over my Arizer Air. It fills up my both my WT. Do you have a V2 or V2.5?

Good morning valued members of the FC community,

It has been a while since I posted. I apologize. There has been back to back trade shows which I needed to attend with the team. I have been reading the entire tread from where I left off and I wanted to clarify few things:

- The only noticeable difference between the V2 and V2.5 model is the heat settings. As you all know, the V2.5 has more adjusted temperature options than the V2 model. We also improved on few PCB components last month on this model so issues like @NickDlow or @higgs mentioned above, (although we had a handful of cases like this with V2 and V2.5), does not happen in the long run.

- We have just established a seller agreement with a very reputable company , the name is known by all of you guys and they do have a location in Canada and several locations in the U.S. We will officially announce this once their inventory is available in the next couple of weeks. For all of our Canadian buyers, we are trying to make the service requests as easy as possible.

- We are doing the same for all other international buyers so the return/service requests are handled locally to avoid customs fees.

- @higgs, we have a 100% satisfaction policy. I see that you had problems with your original unit and I am glad to read that you like the unit enough to give it a chance. Please know that last thing we want is a customer who is annoyed with our product and/or the service. If for any reason, you feel like you are not 100% satisfied, please contact our customer support on our website and they will take care of this with a refund. No questions asked.

We are so happy to see that all experiences (good and bad) are shared on this thread and this forum is one of the most valuable source of information about Haze for all buyers. Your feedback not only helps us improve our product and service but also help new customers to learn more about the unit. For this, as we always say, please keep sharing any and all feedback.

Please feel free to PM me with any questions. We do appreciate every single one of you guys and gals for taking your time and posting here.

Enjoy your weekend.

Emily

You can get the taxes refunded btw. You have to ask the carrier a tax refund form and send to our beloved gouvernement proof your item is taxed twice. I dont know about other services, but you can open an account with fedex to avoid their fees to collect the tax as well. But I still prefer using usps/canada post and have a chance to avoid taxes and fees al together.

Im pretty sure its a v2.0 at 199CAD too. I can wait, but the haze has to deliver with micro loads to make me consider the full price

@spoutti I will make a video for you with a 50-70mg load inside the can and inside the conduction vs convection screens so you can see it in action. (with V2.5)

Thanks in advance! Im sure I will like sipping concentrates with the haze, but I just cant justify only be satisfied for sipping a dab here and there for 250$. I rarely do big loads of herbs; I have my persei when I need power.

I could simply politely return it if it doesnt at least match my solo satisfaction wise and succomb to vas NOW  Then again, I think I will wait for your vid and/or comments about small loads.

Im on the tip of my chair :)

I'm sure to get a 2.5 and yes it produce clouds but, imho, ther is others portables a lot more cloudier for clouds chasers, although I love my Haze but more for the capacity to taste good on level 1&2 and for wax on level 3&4, and on the go I needn't very large clouds that I can't handle without a WT, if I want large clouds I crank up my Xp at 8 with my WT....Different devices for different uses....
