@THC SCIENTIFIC You've got a drop down so people can pick different threads for the globe, why not add one where people can pick the type of coil as well?

My guess is this is an artifact of the Kiss globe kit production run happening before development of the Ti globes was complete. Hopefully in the next run of the globe kits they'll be packaged with the Ti coils.
The good news is that both Ni and Ti coils seem to use the second generation black wicks. I honestly feel like black wick vs. old white wick makes more of a perceptable difference than Ni vs. TI wire.

So I finally got the voltage/ohm tester from W9. What sort of numbers (in ohms I suppose) am I looking for out of 3.7v and 7.4v KISS carts. Whats the acceptable range? I know I've seen charts that explain everything for the EO carts and the Hercules, but is there one for KISS carts?

7.4 Ti KISS - 2.43

All my coils are as I received them from UPTech, haven't built any of my own yet for the kiss or globe.

No but i have iso soaked my nichrome and ti coils many many times. They are just now starting to look a bit bleh but they hit fine.
I have rebuilt the KISS Globe coils. It is much the same as a regular KISS. The globe coil is a bit easier IMO, because the center pin is not recessed like on the standard KISS.
It's because we have tested other coil designs and we really the standard design coupled with the Black ceramic it just better.
On a side note we are testing a herbal vaporizer that might just be better then the imag. Half as small with a temperature setting.
This thing is really good.

Nice, I'd been waiting for their second version of the imag with the better mp/screen and the new ceramic cup. I really want a good portable one that doesn't look like a contraption. Smaller with better temp options would be awesome.

I mean, that's great and all, but if the nichrome is better, why sell a Ti version at all? If you're going to sell a Ti version, why not let people choose it? I would've placed an order last night if I could've got the Ti coil with it since my KISS cart died. Since I can't, it's just a good excuse to use up my EO carts.

Our response was for the different style coils like wickless, hanging, or pancake style not Ni is better the Ti. Our globes are pre packaged that we just don't have enough man power to change out coils. Plus majority of customers like the Nichrome version.

I can't really tell a difference in flavor or amount of vapor really between the Ti/NiCh versions, nearly identical functionality for all intents and purposes. Both taste AMAZING compared to other carts of similar design. I dislike both equally for their possible metallic offgassing side effects, if you accidentally overheat either Ti or NiCh they can release some pretty nasty stuff....

Thanks for posting this - I tried an iso soak on a 3.7v titanium kiss globe coil, but it tasted pretty bad after. Before trying out the cleaned coil, I let it dry overnight then heated it slowly with brief dry pulses to let any remaining iso steam out of the wick with the globe off. Do you usually do any heating after iso soaks before loading with extract, or just soak? Maybe dry pulsing the next day caused the foul taste. Anyway thanks again.

I have soaked my kiss and kiss globe coils many many times. Soak overnight in 99% iso and then allow to dry several days (often a week or more). I just keep 3 carts in rotation and I always have a fresh one when I need it. I dry burn two full cycles just mash the button until it times out. I have only lost one coil out of about 8 (total kiss and kiss globe), the one that broke was a titanium version. I don't notice any flavor issues, but who's to say my tastebuds don't suck?

I have a question about the kiss globes ti 2. How do people use it stealth mode? With the glass surrounding it, it's too conspicuous. I know there is the regular kiss carts, which I love, but feel the globe hits me stronger. Any suggestions for stealth mode?
Regarding the 29.99 vaporizer with kiss mini, I want to use this like the original EO cart and put in .3. Does that small vaporizer have enough power to get good hits, or should I use omicron lite or the core to give it some more power. Appreciate any insight.

I have the "vaporizer" pen. The small battery it comes with is ok. Dies really quick. I would use an omicronm core, or persei.
*On a side note, would it help if I used the hammer top with my sr74x and old Persei? Does the hammer top have circuit protection? Also, does the hammer top currently ship with ceramic rods?

I think the main draw is it's size and stealth. Together they just look like a little e-cig deal. But otherwise it's worked fine on my minicron lite and omicron lite. I've always thought my omi lit hit harder than my mini lite, but it could just be my imagination.

Hoping for a little help. I've had a good run of taking the Herc (71) apart lately. Today I was doing a thorough cleaning because I want to pack it in my luggage. Got it back together and burned off the ISO. I thought it still smelled so I took it apart again and soaked again. Put it together and started burning off the ISO again. I would hold the Persei button for 20 seconds, then let it cool for 40 seconds. During the second round, I got 8-10 cycles and then the light started flashing. Assuming the battery died, I charged them and then tried again. No luck. Still get the flashing blue light.
I took the assembly that screws into the Persei top apart, cleaned that (hadn't taken it apart the first time) and then put it back together. Still get the flashing light, even with just that assembly screwed into the Persei top.
Any suggestions? I am about to run out of "safe" time at the house and I'm starting to worry the Herc is going to stay home.
