Who else feels the need for combustion support?

I don't feel the need per say, but I still enjoy rolling up a doobie and smoking it. Not much a fan of dry pipes or any other method of smoking really, but there is just a certain satisfaction about rolling up a nice cone and smoking it that I have not been able to find from a vaporizer, and quite frankly don't ever really expect to find in a vaporizer.

Short answer: Only when rolling up doobies.

Your review is agreed with ,'cept when one needs that extra push ,it takes a dry pipe single hitter

loaded w/ honeybud for this patient :2c:

For past 3 days after rolling thru "full moon" phase ,supporting low biorhythm state of mind

,dabbing/ vaping just didn't cut the mustard like a li'l combustiion via doobie/ dry pipe ( oil/

flower) ~ of course beyond @ 5-6 days/ mo.( full/ new moon ) there is no need

Honestly, I feel that combustion is no more medicating than vaping or dabbing. As I was making "the switch", I missed combustion with its heavy states, being ripped, etc. But slowly I realized it was just a mental association I was making. I find medicating via vaping to be superior because it actually allows fine tuning of temperature to produce different effects. Combustion feels like toasting marshmallows with a flamethrower. But to each their own.

Question: ... .. Has anyone found ,due to tolerance factors ,there still remains

the 'need' for combustion support ( ie., honeybud bubbler ) to reach intended

levels of inebration/relaxation no matter how intense a lengthy vapor

session(s) provides ??

IMO ,one yields taste ,lung maintenance for the 1-2-3 punch of HoneyBud

~ soo ,seems an "across the board combo" is starting to do the trick ,while

'conserving' vaped products ~ this

'hybrid' approach seems to work for me ~ anyone else in same kind of

predicament ?

Im DEF w/ you on this 1 man... i have found that since ive been doing so, or when i do, i do get a different kind of "high". I like it. but just depends on what i feel like, a lighter high, heavier high, etc. Do LOVE the mix tho! :mflb: :science:

I dont need smoking anymore. I had taken a month long break between smoking and vaping. I need 1/2 if not 1/3 for the same effects and my lungs thank me everyday. Vaping was a choice to keep thc in my life. My irritated lungs were the excuse to not do cardio exercices. Since, I do therapeutic jogging here and there.

Back on topic, I would suggest dabbing to punch through your tolerance @silvercloud358 like prevously suggested.

Butane powered vapes like the daisy or lotus. I havent tried those vapes, but they are not expensive and are reported (and proven by vids!) to produce monster clouds.

A t-break to lower your tolerance and keep it that way so you dont "need" combusting? Easy to say, I know. But im brainstorming solutions here.

Imh hypothesis, the body can associate the poisons byproducts of combustion with being high, giving satisfaction only if present. Kinda of adding to the stone couch lock effect, but its actually your body reacting to fight the poison giving the effect. I took my month break to prevent this association my brain was probably making and fully appreciate vaping. All imho, but smoking never crossed my mind. I even stopped needing a few puff of my friend's cigarette since the switch!

@spoutti ,unfortunately after 53+ yrs of combustion ,maybe my system has addictive issues

since vaping ,dabbing don't give the relief that's needed by itself ( seems combo vapor/

combustion solve hitting the mark ) ~

Have tried all concepts of oil blends/ bud via vapor ,but when a small honeybud gets

combusted thru small glass pipe ,it's like day/ nite as far as personal effects ??

Granted overspending time w/ combustion has its drawbacks ( ie.,loss of taste , lungers

,negative effects w/ hearing ,munchies ) ~ soo ,there are plenty of neg effects to try to avoid

thru dabbing ,bud vaporization ,but it seems the 'hybrid' mode is route to follow to maintain

sanity :rolleyes::shrug:

@silvercloud358 if you wanna try for 100% vapor and fuckcombustion for good like others said you may need a bigger hitting vape then the Ascent. I know you made a comment earlier that seemed odd to me if you still smoke ...
First time out was VaporBrosBox ,landed me in emergency room due to rib cage bruising from over use ( thought was having a coronary ) ~
... ;)

Soooo your saying SMOKING a bowl of infused bud is easier on your lungs then using a vaporizer ?????

Now That Just don't sound kosher to me. Sounds more like you just still wanna smoke not like you need to.

Hey now,
Once you realize the feeling you get from those 'hard hits' when combusting is caused by carbon monoxide doing a number on your brain, it's very easy to remain a vaporist.
Smoke kills, not THC, not CBD, not CBN, not even nicotine...

If you caught my orig reply @ spoutti ,me said performance results were better w/ combustible

infused ,but me also took side effects ( ie., lungers ,munchies ,etc ) into consideration ,thus a

hybrid approach seems to be the ticket ~

BTW ,when usding VaporBox ( vapor bros ) ,was a hard draw ,thus bruising ribcage due to

overuse ~ if had my druthers ,would prefer the vapor if it could get job done

Have you looked at the Herb Iron? An easier way to control the temperature when it comes to combustion. It would at least eliminate inhaling butane.

I figured that is what you meant. I swear my teeth hurt from the negative pressure of sucking during vaping.

Sounds like a fan forced vaporizer would be helpful. Too bad the Herbie is so damn expensive, :bang:

A restricted draw on a vapor bros just means you packed the bowl too tight (a little less can be best).

To receive more of what your calling 'side effects' it's my belief you need a different tool then the ascent which I found to be more of a 'tack hammer' vaporizer when compared to a 'sledge hammer' like the daisy or even a $55 vapor genie 'classic' or a number of whip/wand style vapes(7th floor products, vapor bros) or Log style vapes.

I used an ascent for a week or two and found it fell way short of my needs, if I were going to use it as a daily driver i also would be left wanting more. I smoked nearly everyday for 42 years and can say the simple Vapor genie classic converted me to 100% vapor since it produces huge full spectrum vapor and mimics the ritual of smoking. Also as people have suggested laying off smoking and only vaping for a week or two helps the conversion immensely because your still depending on the side effects from the toxins produced during combustion and not the pure effects of your herb.

Just my :2c:, as I see it you just have the wrong tool to convert a longtime smoker.

Agree
If you can manage lighting a weed pipe you should be able to handle the Vapor Genie Classic.

Hey now Tweak ,just adjusted intake protocol to the GoTo ( omicron KISS/ eCig batt ) ,Ascent

infused ,glass pipe/ honeybud ( back-up )

Psst ... .. if me builds tolerance to formula ,might consider '"smack"' ( JK , LoL )
