Titan vaporizer

This thread interests me.
I have a titan 2 from a manufacturer called puri5, found on amazon.
I did a nice long burn off, and since then this model has performed like a champ. The accurate temp, easy charging, and price actually talked me into spending another 30 on a backup from dhgate (hoping hebe is as good as puri5).

I guess I'm wondering why this isn't more popular? I have the Ppro dlx, a DB, an MFLB, and I've gone through numerous other vapes......this is easily a favorite bang for the buck.

Opinions?

i'm agree with you, this unit performs correctly now. Maybe the quality of materials is better , or depend's of the manufacturers . Some units has the smell problem and other no...Its the principal reason of the contested popularity. Maybe i am lucky , but i have no problem with the Titan 2 . it's not perfect but for the price is not so bad.
Today, i' have seen the review of the Titan 3 by ISMOKEI. It's a Titan2 but with a box design. I don't think it''s a good idea, the look is horrible ( for me) and nothing new about the materials. The Titan2 could be easily upgraded ( air path, mouthpiece) ...

startec I see that you have in your signature vapormax. So how would you rate titan 2 compared to flowermate? I had in my hand flowermate and it seems very interesting, especially since you can buy for the price of $ 60. On the plus side supports 2x bigger capacity battery, ceramic chamber, glass mouthpiece and metal casing vaporizer.

it could use a couple upgrades, but I honestly have no complaints. I did have to do the burn off to make it usable but it's worked like a charm since. I go between this and pinnacle pro, and if I'm not using the water attachment I can say they're pretty close regarding my satisfaction with the units. The titan is just so affordable.
This Puri5 unit was 70, but I can't think of a bad thing to say about it.
Do most have the Hebe version?

I can personally say that I feel it's the best portable out there for this price. By far.
I prefer it at times over my pro or even sometimes the Solo. It's truly efficient and you can dial your temp so precisely.

yes i have a Hebe Titan, i don't know if there is a difference with the rebranded units.
The flowermate is my favorite for the quality of cloud and overall for his autonomy . It's perfect for long trip or when you don't have the possibility to charge it. The titan, plugged on usb with his very efficient temperature setting , stays near my computer and i use it very often. The price is amazing and It's a good ratio quality/Price and there is not combustion. if you have the choice , for the same price, chose the Flowermate , or wait the next V.5 pro, and buy a TITan2. it will stay a good second vape.

So...has anybody seen one of these? New for 2015, the Titan III

New form factor, faster heat-up, and a noticeably larger and wider oven. Not really sure what it looks like....a cell? I guess it's very pocket-able with the new flat design. The top kinda looks like a Pax.

i think the name "TITAN 3" is not a good idea ! it's not the same concept than Titan 2 ( and 1 ).
The Titan 2 is not too bad and it will be better ( and easy ) to enhance the air path and using quality materials for health , the battery is bigger. the setting is easy. is not far to be a good vape like le FM5.

Titan 2 <$40 for 2
These things are freaking getting so cheap. The only thing I cannot see from this seller is a switchable temperature display. The function in itself is not a big deal but does that indicate anything else, quality wise?
At this kind of pricing, IMO, buying in pairs is a good idea.

Sorry to derail this thread but with the FM you can pack just
I've got a FM5.0 and like it but find I go through a lot of herb compared to my Solo. Hoping load size is less important with the Titan.

With the FM and a small load just tamp it down to the bottom of the chamber and it works great. If there is no vapor it's because it's risen up so just tamp it down to the bottom again.

Hey @Pipes, dont forget to let me know how your Titans work out. I want to get the $40 find but am too wondering if there is a different quality because of the missing temp display switch from "F" to "C"

Will do. BTW, My order is the 2 for $60 from AliExpress, (2 orders, 4 total) which do state dual temp display. Found the DHGate units after...dang it.
The DHGate 2 for $40 has no mention of it. Seems from the listings I've read, they have all made mention of this in the description.
Hopefully, if anyone has jumped on the lower priced DHGate units, will report in.
I still have a hard time wrapping around that price. Almost disposable...mixed feelings on that direction of manufacturing. Good or bad?......I think bad long term. For right now though, awesome.

You'll be happy with it for the price. I have been using mine for a few months now in and off with other vapes. It gets the job done and produces nice vapor. Do a burn in before you use it to get rid of the packaging smell .

is there somebody who has disassembled the titan??
I see two tabs that need to be pushed? I do not get more I'm afraid to break the device if there is glue. I'll ask the guys Vapor Source...
Yes the Titan is today a good vape for his price. It do the job perfectly and no there is no more bad smell in the last units i'he received than the other new vapes i have tested recently ( imag, V5, V8)
the electronic settings are very impressive.
probably a new air path, and small modifications to improve the quality will make a perfect Titan3 !

I see a Hebe Titan II vapes on fasttech.com for $32 shipped. (Is it OK to post links?; if so I will)

Does anyone have an opinion of fasttech and whether this is likely to be fake? $32 is pretty darned cheap.

I tried to dissemble 1 of my titans and it was not so easy. Tried popping those tabs with no success. I was able to stab the tabs with a flat head screw driver and slide it half way out through the bottom exposing the electronics and 18650 battery but that's as far as i got and put it back in bc i got a new one and it just wasn't budging. I'll come back to it when i have some more time and try again. I wouldnt try it if you have a working unit , it doesn't seem to go back together to well , unless i am doing something wrong.

I have ordered a lot of stuff from fasttech and it's a legit site. If something is DOA or there is a problem they will take care of it. Note the black is cheaper then red. No idea what the difference is other than color.

Hello, this is a picture of the interior
titaninside.php

http://www.zimagez.com/zimage/titaninside.php
the bottom cap opened . pcb and battery out. On the other side, there are two pins that could be pushed on to access to the heating chamber. the picture comes from VS, the original designer of the titan.
Other manufacturers patented makes different Titan 2 ( without logo VS or rebranded.)
The VS has the F° & C° setting and use new material for mouthpiece. it don't smell as the first one i had.

VS provides an update for the Titan 2 but the date is not set.

So I received my T2's today. First impressions are that it's very compact and light weight. The outside has a smooth almost rubberish feel to it. I was expecting a smooth plastic, so that was a pleasant surprise. LCD display is OK, but definitely need my glasses to see the small parts.
I cannot seem to change the readout from F to C, although the manual states holding the main button and - buttons simultaneously is suppose to. Could I be doing it wrong? Or maybe it's just the one red unit as have not tried the others yet. Did not want to break the seal as met for others.
The mouthpiece looks like the holding clip might ware out down the road but does the job OK for now.
I charged it up and added an hour for good measure. Did a 7 minute burn in at 428 degree doing some light blow throughs. Taste tasting did give the old robot fart smell which I expected.
Noted it seemed to have a hard time keeping it at that high of temperature.
Filled er up without packing and set to 385 degree. Took a couple minutes to reach temperature but once it did It maintained very well.
Taste was not the best as the robot smell needs a few more runs to bleed out. Vapor density seemed very good and IMO more importantly, consistent. Did not use the extended mouth piece yet and did find the vapor a little hot.
I have high hopes with this unit as expect it will get better once worked in some and some length added on the mouthpiece.
The 7 minute timer seems a little short but can get use to it.
Will comment further once I have more data. But if battery life is acceptable, I think I'm going to like this guy.

Thanks for the report Pipes. My main complaint with the rebranded titan 1 that I have (Force) is it seems to choke me pretty bad, even through a water perc, and I cough really heavy, when my other vapes do not have this problem, using same bud, etc... the flavor of the titan 1 has improved slightly after some use, but the heavy coughing experience I get worries me. I sat and did a comparison test the other day, rotating between the Sublimator, Heat Island (log vape) and my INH004, and none of those choked me the way the titan 1, and it seemed to get worse the longer the sesh went as the unit got hotter from being on. It's a real bummer because otherwise it would make a pretty good portable. Oh and if I blow into the mouthpiece, air comes out from the usb port on the bottom...

What I am hoping is what ever is setting me off with the titan 1 isn't present in the Titan 2 air path. Use yours a bit and get back with us on how the taste and over all experience goes after breaking it in would ya? thanks :D
