Also finally just got my fc-710! I was going to write a bit of an extensive review about it, but I really agree with most everything that @tennstrong said, so I'll keep it a bit more brief...

First off, holy crap. I freaking love this thing. It's the best flavor-to-smoothness ratio of any rig I've got, and more flavorful than most any rig I've tried. It amazes me how different and more textured the flavor is of oils I've dabbed hundreds of times is, and it's really hard not to rocket through all my errl just because it tastes so damn good. :ko:

As far as quality, it's by far the most precisely made China piece I've gotten yet. There's one small scratch on the side of the downstem but other than that it's visually flawless. All the welds are perfect and everything is completely straight. The only criticism that I have is that it seems incredibly thin, even for China. I'd say it's the thinest glass of any Chinese pieces I've got, no way more than 2mm, probably less. I'm intrigued by the fact that no one else here has reported this though... Is this true for anyone else? Did I just get an extra-thin one?

The only other thing I'd change is that I'd love to see the ball be a solid color, so that it was more visually striking when it bounced around in there. The ball was white in the original, and I like how that emphasizes it, being the most unique thing about the piece.

Nonetheless, I'm stoked and feel that this was money very well spent. My new daily driver for sure. Although for some reason, I still can't kick wanting that pyrology knockoff... Haha, damn GAS. :bang:

Hmm measured it out and I believe it is 3mm, still a bit thin, but about normal for a chinese piece. I think the added weight really helps it not be so fragile. The downstem however and base can I'm not sure of the diameters, the downstem is thicker and I can't figure a good way to measure the base/can thickness
Edit: in response to @Erwin , with such small diameters maybe it just was a different rod that got blown, idk. they probably are roughly the same

I swear there's no way mine's that thick, at least judging by the glass at the mouthpiece... Strange. Still, though, it's nice enough otherwise that I really can't complain.

I figure the original has an extra mm at most so it's not a huge difference.

I haven't done a ton of A/B testing simply because I keep going back to the FC710 :D. If I was blindfolded I probably couldn't tell a difference just based on the hit alone but I'm finding the FC710 feels better in my hand and the mouthpiece fits my lips perfectly (YMMV). I did notice one flaw in mine, there seems to be an internal crack in the perc in the middle of the "U". But it doesn't seem to go all the way through and nothing is passing through it so it's a non-issue for me.

If his new torus style actually gets a good functioning vid I think he has a buyer here! I'm just hoping he can get it done for around ~50$ as that's kind of my benchmark now.

The pre-order price for the torus incycler homage is over $80 (when I looked at it over a week ago), I think that's probably close to the actual retail they will ask, but who knows? I'm very interested in this piece too, I could never justify paying for the real thing.

I just got off the phone with U.S.P.S. because they lost my FC-710:goon:. At a little after noon the tracking # shows delivered, "left in receptionist area". Well I have been here all day and I didn't see anything get delivered. As a matter of fact when the mail man did show up at about 1:00 I asked him about the package showing delivered even though he just got here and all he could say is call the post office. I always have items delivered to my office because I have had shipments stolen from my door step and at least this way I am always here to receive deliveries. Now all I can do is sit and wait for 3 - 5 days for them to investigate:cry:.

Just got my FC-710:rockon:. Looks real nice, no cracks or pin holes. Gave it a quick water test and it functions great.
I can't wait to get it home for a real test:). Thank you @blankrider for making this one possible.

Man, I think my fc710 really did take the slow boat. Last update on tracking was sorting in China on the 24th. Bought it the 10th. My Dcycler I bought in the 23rd has already made it to Chicago so at least I'll have something to ease the wait. Maybe it's one of those that will just show up all of a sudden.

I think ours are on the same boat cuz I'm having the exact same issue but I'm sure it will get here eventually.

All my days in a daze...
Ordered my FC-710 on Jan 13th, shipped on the 23rd and received today.

First impressions: WOW!:o:luv:

As others have said, the flavor is amazing. But, more importantly, there is a noticeable increase in potency, or should I say a decrease in the actives being stripped over my previous enail piece (a Reti perc).

Just love the way the damn thing functions.

Yea you can tell the way that the claim builds up that none is wasted in the process- nearly all of the claim builds at the water line-ish on the can side so you know that there isn't vapor being wasted in the tube/diffusion process (as you see with normal recyclers, or at least my personal experience- claim builds a lot on the funnel arm and hence you have wasted material/more claim) and as a result I really think this hits very similarly to a mini rig but with a better diffusion system that doesnt build up claim as quickly as other rigs. I think it's earned it's place next to my toro for my enail go-to pieces, and that says a lot when it was almost a tenth the price (although given they both have their own functionality, the toro delivers a much smoother hit at the expense of some flavor). Now I just gotta get some dropdowns for this badboy. I can't seem to find any one single seller with all sizes of dropdowns, has anyone had any luck?
Edit: also @Monsoon I can't wait to get your comparison of the two, I think they are going to be nearly clones (there may be a height difference though, not sure if stevens is taller or shorter), I can go to a dab bar and test the original out as well if more people want that comparison

The reclaim on the glass is just the "losses" that you can see, the rest is in the water. I think one of the more important factors in calculating lost vapor is distance and how much surface area it's exposed to along its way. The vapor path on the Diffusion Pump is very short and narrow (low surface area) and its only direct exposure to water is as large bubbles which also helps a lot.

I've compared them a bit already in the thread but they're nearly identical in every way. While the original is more refined and feels like better quality, I actually seem to be preferring the mouthpiece and the fit in my hand of the new one. The original has a flat MP while the other is flared.

You should definitely do a comparison review yourself. You should also ask them to guess how much you paid for yours and let us know their reaction . I'm going to try to get some pics up soon of the two of them, but any review is going to be pretty short since they're functionally the same piece. But I guess that alone is saying a lot.

FC-710 has landed.

I'm thinking this is gonna be one of my go to dabbing rigs :D

Put my water level to pretty much the bottom of the slanted part, and no splash back up the mouthpiece :)

It's got a fun rumble to it.

It's interesting that you seem to get less diffusion the harder you pull.
I could get the inner tube entirely clear with a hard enough draw on a water test.
The added restriction of my Quartz banger meant I couldn't pull that hard for an actual hit, but I wouldn't normally hit a rig that hard anyways...

Gonna have to see how it pairs with my sub tonight :brow:
For science, of course ;) :science:

Are these any good for combustion?

I recently gifted a buddy a 14mm dabuccino for combustion purposes, I'm thinking one of these might be a cool upgrade at some point

Edit:
Oops, meant to post this in the cheap high quality bubbler thread...
Too much testing

Steven posted some new videos, no head tilting required this time.

Some progress has been made on the Incycler but only "some".

The Matrix double recycler aka FC-242, no idea if it's functionally correct but I'm sure an expert will chime in soon :science:.

Incycler -
I'm not sure he understands that the return should only have water flowing downward...

Construction looks nice, just gotta get that perc sorted out - my thought - add a fuck-tonne more slits

FC-242 -
Looks nice, I'd be willing to buy one in that condition, but the matrix perc should be raised up about an inch or so...

Also maybe a slight restriction at the base of the return funnel like I suggested a while back to encourage a bit more vortexing.

It's definitely my full time e-nail piece right away. I think my favorite piece ever as I am tending towards liking lower diffusion pieces.

Such a great oil rig.
Hope this glow never wears off. lol.

I tried it with a Cloud+, except for wishing it were bigger for such use, it paired very well IMHO.
Probably gonna buy another for vape use.

After a few dabs with the 710 last night I will agree with everyone here and say the performance of this piece is great and the flavor is amazing.
Just for shits and giggles I thought "I wonder how it would pair with my Nano".
Well surprise surprise it pairs great with the nano. The flavor is so good just like @canj00digit I to am now thinking about picking up another one just to Vape out of.

I ordered a 710 last night. So looks like I have a month-ish wait? Can. Not. Wait. Will be my first oil rig. Pretty new to the oil game. I have just been dabbing on an rda coil or other vap attys. I have a cheap bong I used for combustion (no more) that I wasn't thinking of converting, but when I saw this thread and the prices I went with it. Plan to get a blow torch soon and then build an enail when I get some tax monies. Looks like I might have the nail build before the pipe arrives (well if I get off my butt and do the damn taxes).

How is the glass nail that comes with it. I'm still research in the type of nail I want to get. Any suggestions. Was just thinking about a quartz domeless. Guessing I should look for ones that are the right size for the coil I will use.
