I have an EQ(five years) and 2 Solos. The EQ I use mostly on the deck in the summer.Hey guys, I'm so glad this site exists!I love my vaping of all sorts although I have limited experience in herbal vaporizers. I have tried an Atmos Jnr, BC-100(not sure if they make these anymore..
), Whispr2, PAX and G-Pen. Although delicious, none of these were quite convincing enough for me to move 100% to vapor. This is the next step I reallllly wanna take. Do you guys think the Q will be a powerful enough device to do this? Out of interest, has anyone tried any the above listed vapes so they can compare and share some wisdom?
Also out of interest, can anyone comment on how the Extreme Q stacks up against the Volcano? Advice greatly appreciated.

I never modified it till I had to....see explanation below. The balloons are nice and provide a interesting chance. The quality and warranty are excellent and very reasonably priced, with most places selling it for under $150.00. I hear the Volcano is the best you can buy, but at 3 or 4 times the price, unless you are made of money, go with the EQ !!

Now that I have modded my cyclone, my bowls just elbow pack themselves. Is there anything I can do to keep the herb out of the elbow basket screen?
I thought about adding a domed screen on top of the elbow basket screen, but do I really want to introduce another screen to the process?
Seems like the best thing would be to replace the basket screen with something less basket-y.

Ya i admit at first you see a much darker middle,but with my water att. I keep bumping up my temp and it all will come out looking the same.Im not putting a full pack on my elbows either though.Thats why I keep using it, there so many ways this unit can be utilized.

My SSV wand required .625" screens, but you could probably get away with one the the Cyclone screens, .75".
I tried everything, but as your material loses water weight and gets lighter, it always ends up getting sucked into the elbow screen.
I find unless the screens are really close to the heat, they don't alter taste.
If you make the screen more of a dome ) rather than a basket ], it helps tremendously.

For me when i pack like I do,i gues i do stir,if you consider a pick pulled through the middle then i crank it up.There is nothing left.How i know this is because ive put it in my Firefly and nothing.plus if its dark brown how much more are you looking for.maybe its difrent pulling straight up into a tube.no hose.it's by far my second favorite unit.with the before mentioned my #1 right now.

The Q is great but I wish it had more restricted airflow and the ability to pull harder thicker clouds. Dont get me weong i get big rips but im thinking they can be bigger fuller richer

I would recommend imgur over photobucket or other hosting sites for images. It has a simple, yet robust interface and is very reliable IME.

My 1 question about our set ups with the elbow pack is how much heat is lost by the time it reaches the bowl.I've maxed the heat and ive never combusted.Its by no means an issue ive just been curios.

Hello fellow EQ owners, I just received my Oregon glass today and boy does it look great not to mention good heavy pieces. I will definitely be heading to OG in the future for more glass. 
O.k. now that I have my new 90 degree elbow for my EQ I wanted to know what screens you use or where I can get some ordered from that fit? The original screens that came with the EQ do not fit. If possible maybe a screen that fits in the elbow that is convex instead of concave, that would be ideal. Thanks for any help guys. By the way I'm now about a 100 pages into this crazy long awesome and informative thread, cheers!

you want to replace the cyclone bowl with a 18mm Female to female attachment. They are very cheap like 9$ on ebay. What it does is bringyour herb closer to the heating element. It takes less time to start getting vapor and the hits seem thicker.
The other mod is replacing the EQ ELBOW. With a SSV wand(silver surfer vaporizer wand)
@DDave is the man you needa see. He invented the F/F adapter mod so maybe you should PM him
Ive never heard of anyone disliking this mod. I wonder if anyone has tried both and prefers the stock cyclone

... but what it does allow is for the unit to get closer to pushing that envelope and thereby extracting more of those high temp goodies. It also does better with concentrates that are cotton soaked or herb saturated.Hope this helps! (And my PM is always open!)

Hello fellow EQ owners & FC'rs. I just wanted to post some pictures of the newest addition to the EQ's arsenal. Water tool/attachment courtesy of Namastevapes & all the fitment made possible with my new OrG. Next is the Cyclone mod and the SSVW set-up also. I still am working on locating the correct screens for my new OrG pieces.
I am impressed with how efficient the Namestevapes water attachment is and by the ease of its draw as well. It mates up nicely with the EQ both being of great quality all the way around. I hope you enjoy the following pictures as well. Cheers all the EQ is calling my name at the moment!

Question Guys. I tot My d020-d bubbler hooked up to my Q with an elbow in my cyclone then my whip, another elbow plugged into a carbon filter tool which is then plugged directly into the d20 base (none of the connectors or whatever that came with the d20 are user, just the base) but i noticed my carbon filters SS screen at the bottom was getting wet and started to rust the screen and glass after the first use. So My question is, die i do something wrong or does the d20 cause water reflux that gets high enough in the intake pipe to het either an elbow or a carbon tool Luke im using wet?
