The Canandian health department has issued a warning to the country's medical cannabis growers and sellers, saying that advertising the benefits of medical cannabis online and in print has gone too far.

Health Canada sent letters to 20 licensed pot growers that outline how and when they can advertise their products - including banning photos of actual buds or linking to any third-party websites that the government deems to be "promoting" weed. Producers can't even talk about which strains help certain conditions.

I am who I am and your approval isn't needed!
What has REALLY gone too far (and on too long), is the fact that Health Canada refuses to acknowledge medicinal value with cannabis and even states it in all their publications.

Way to go govt agency paid for by our taxes to outright lie and put up blocking 'intelligent & safer" medicinal progress while at the same time sucking the teats of Big Pharma, Canadian Medical Assoc, Cancer society, and any other perks driven prohibitionist groups/agencies/govt that feed off the sick by turning a blind eye to natural cures they can't make a buck off of. :cuss::disgust::cuss:

Imagine going to a dispensary where they have no pictures, and they cannot show you the product or even talk about it ....

It is almost like they want the black market to keep going, oh wait ...

Well the dispensaries are illegal at the moment, or at least grey area/tolerated. I have a feeling since this has all been such a shit show, it's just waiting/begging for legalization once Harper gets his fucking ass kicked out.

The ENTIRE system is fucked...not just drugs...look at our fast food society subsidized by the government as well. Why do you think a mcdonald's cheeseburger is so inexpensive? All the foods that make us sick and fat are practically free, yet the nutritious ones cost an arm and a leg. Our hospitals are full of sick fat people, many fighting cancers due to lifestyles (let's not forget almost a 1/4 of the population still smoke cancer sticks), booze is rampant, and we pay for it all. Sometimes I do wish for a 2 tiered health care system, because ours isn't what most people think it is. If you make yourself sick, fucking pay for it yourself! This country is going down fast.

Liked this part, especially when you consider that these food processors are buying up much of the fresh nutritious ingredients, then processing them with poisonous chemicals in order to re-sell us a product that "lasts longer and is more convenient to use"; and most of all that can be traded on the stock market.

Yet 99% of the population doesn't appear to give a fuck and gobbles it all up. I swear i'm from a different planet most of the time. People invest so much into meaningless things, than their own health. If you don't have your health, you don't have jack shit!

Fuck the government! If people only knew the the truth...then again, they probably wouldn't care. We're treated like cattle. Ohhhh, Ebola, i'm so scared...hahaha. Fear is an incredible thing. People are too distracted watching reality TV.

Anyways, my MMAR expired a while ago, and I REFUSE to get an MMPR. These LP's are a joke. I'm sticking with my compassion clubs, although I have enough weed stockpiled to last me a lifetime.

Not news per se, and hopefully this hasn't been posted elsewhere: current The Fifth Estate episode Marijuana in Canada : Pot Fiction

"Everyone knows that marijuana is illegal. So why does Canada seem to be awash in pot? You can buy it openly in a surprising number of ways and places. The system the federal government set up to give people access to medical marijuana is broken. Could it be that something’s happening out there and no one told Prime Minister Stephen Harper? Mark Kelley exposes some real Pot Fiction".

I haven't watched it myself, but plan to later today.
