Flame war?

I have a few vaporizers.
All of them work amazing.
The NANO is my best with water tools!
Flavor wise!

Hey guys can someone explain or point me in the direction of where I should look to learn proper usage of the nano? It's my first vaporizer but I want to make sure I'm getting as much efficiency/flavor etc as possible. What I'm wondering is how full to pack it, what temperature is best, how fast to draw etc.

I did my research and ordered on a monday at like 10 am with the two day shipping option, he said most orders in stock ship out within 48 hours so thats not my fault.

First my walnut nano I purchased on a monday did not get to my place until a saturday when it was in the same state, and since I had to move that friday it costed me $26 in shipping just to get it to my apartment.

I'm not too sure how that's Andy's fault? Shipped within 48 hours means as late as Wednesday morning. Then there's the caveat of that 4-letter word, "Most." Then 2 day shipping in the post means Friday, and the post hasn't exactly been great about "starting the clock" on anything lately. Plus, you moved. Presumably you knew you were moving, so why wouldn't you wait until you moved in, use the new address in the original order or initiate mail forwarding via a change of address form or a mail hold?

I can understand the frustration with getting the wrong pieces, but it kind of seems like you're looking for things to get angry at or focusing the stress of moving or whatever at your order. That's not exactly fair. Talk to Andy. He's sometimes difficult to get a hold of, but he's usually good about making things right. I'm sure the last thing he wants is people to be unhappy.

I love getting the wrong things lol because 9 out of 10 times you keep it and arent charged for it = freebies. Which has happened to me so I know what ur talking about with getting the wrong WonGs but I have two for the price of one so I'm happy.

Also not having an all glass GonG isn't the end of the world. The adjustable are better IMO. Tho my screens stay in place I see that could be frustrating. Try to double up on screens or widening them. I'm sure u can finagle something to make them fit.

I did my research and ordered on a monday at like 10 am with the two day shipping option, he said most orders in stock ship out within 48 hours so thats not my fault.

I ordered after the fact he stated he fixed the short GonG problem as well so its my fault for ordering it after he said he was fixing it...? and the mix up on the glass is an accident but you cant blame me for complaining about 3 problems I encountered within my first two weeks with the company.

I love how you all just consider my complaints all my fault, I had nothing to do with any of the problems and don't see how blame can be put upon myself. Sure the whole nano shipping could have been planned better but thats it, nothing else could have been fixed by doing anything on my end.

I mean sure, I was just stating my complaints on a THREAD DEDICATED to the vaporizer. Im sorry that my experience was not the same as yours, I wish I could be happy like you but I guess Im some piece of shit because my experience with a company was different.

This whole forum can never take any bad comments about your vaporizer or the company behind it, this thread is meant for discussion and apparently most users here cannot seem to understand that bad things happen to people and I just wanted to voice my concerns. Sure your experience was great but put yourself in my shoes now when I am $60 over my original budget and don't even have what I ordered originally except the nano itself.

Don't think anyone has thrown much blame, other than the same as I said - anyone should look into anything they are purchasing. This isn't always easy, but FC makes it so with many vapes - especially one from a small company like this. What my point was - and others seem to have agreed - is that Epic has some bumpy conditions. Pretty much all who are familiar with this thread are familiar with this (and a good many of us personally familiar). Is that the best? Is it "good"? No, I wouldn't say so. But, it is to be expected. Is it the fault of any customer? No. But it is what it is. To expect different is the same as me being pissed off because the sun set sooner than I wanted it to. Seems we are to a point when most orders go out without a hitch - and that is great - but still not surprising when there are issues such as yours.

People often complain abut these issues and others in this thread. They aren't often questioned or chastised about it when they stay to the point, and are bringing up issues that everyone here isn't already aware of and expecting. Even then, not so much when the majority of their posts aren't whining. It sucks. I get it! Go back to the very early days (somewhere back in the first 100 pages or so) and read about headaches of many of us that I think could be objectively defined as way worse than anything in your "horrible" experience. And, think that is why you received so much negative feedback here (and certainly from me). If you go back and look, many of us have been in "your shoes" with this very vape - and many of us wish we had it that good out of the gate! But, is pretty rare to see the incessant complaints and whining. There have been a few, and from what I've seen people have commented to them and they either get pissed and disappear, or come to the reality they missed before pulling the trigger on the nano. Mostly the latter - and some of those people are some of the biggest fans in here now. Really hope you join those ranks once your orders are all straightened out.

Things with Epic have gotten much better, and I expect they will continue to. As I think most know, this is a very small operation with Andy and one assistant. Pretty sure that's why this amazing vape can be had for the price it is. For comparison check out the new and highly touted Mighty or Crafty from S&B. Large international company who seems to be making more great new vapes - but at double + the cost of a nano. Am sure some of their orders get screwed up from time to time too, but am guessing the difference would be you won't get straightened out as quickly - or perks - the same as you do from Andy. Think I can speak for many already here, and potential customers too, that it's better to have things as they are and steadily improving with the price static since introductory offers ended than for Andy to hire more staff (as has been suggested) and bump up the price $100 or whatever to cover that.

It's really seldom the message or the messenger that get the blame (especially in this thread), but the tone of that message that brings the ire. I'd say that's not perfect either, but much better than you'll find most places - even in other vape threads here on FC. The great vid above from @Tweak says it much better than I could ever hope to. Watch it again if this doesn't make sense!

Hey @walkpdp ! Welcome to the world of nano! Much good info throughout the thread, but a few good things to get you started. Best of the E-Nano from Epicvape thread And, check out these two vids if you haven't, yet. Caligula's 2 Hit Extraction and Enchantre's nano tutoriall

You really owe it to yourself to check out this thread, too. All of this and more was just posted in the last 3 or 4 pages.

I've been stalking the postman as Her Majesty's Customs had mine for a week, which was in fact longer than the time it took to order, ship and land in the Uk, and I only had £15 customs charge to pay - the only gripe is that the postal service charge over half that for 'handling' ...it's their job the cheeky b@stards
But bugger me sideways this is a nice looking efficient little tool, only had it for half a day and loving it so far, definite upgrade from my pnp

Yea normally I like getting shipped wrong things but technically now only I was just shipped a replacement for my GonG that came with the nano. The first GonG is hardly usable since it is too short for the bowl to stay in place.

Im just clearing up some minor details, not trying to complain any more.

Didn't you order it on a Monday that was Fed holiday?

Blows the rest of your theory out of the water don't it?

Sorry but he was in business that day, I would assume when you are in business you can still prep orders for shipment. Just because its Mt Luther King day doesnt really mean its "halt all production and don't prepare any new orders". Not saying it was the end of the world but for my planning purposes it turned out that due to him shipping it past his 24-48 hour time period it led me to paying $26 to receive the unit.

Again, not complaining but just clearing things up.

I'm not too sure how that's Andy's fault? Shipped within 48 hours means as late as Wednesday morning. Then there's the caveat of that 4-letter word, "Most." I can't really have anything delivered to my apartment thus why I had to paid the $26 in the first place. Getting packages around me is not really easy and the mailmen leave packages on the street constantly, had $500 in GoPro gear left in the street for a few hours but I was lucky my friend saw it and picked it up for me.

He didn't ship it until very late Wednesday which was pack pick up time for shipments which is why it arrived Saturday, so yea it says most orders are shipped within 48 hours but I put in a note on the order that it would be very appreciated it he could ship it so it would arrive within the two days so I wouldnt face the troubles I had if it arrived past friday. I am in the same state as him, hes just in Southern California and I am in the San Francisco area. So I didn't really see it as too big of a request to ask him to have it here by friday.

Im going to say this one last time, this is not my complaining more its just my side of the story and how it all went. Not putting a ton of blame on andy for anything just my experience and providing some comments on what I think could be improved. So please stop thinking I am complaining about Andy specifically, I am just putting the "blame" on him since it is his company.

Cool! Good there's no complaints. Thanks for clarifying your side of the story. For better or worse, seems similar to what you'd find from some others throughout this thread (though again, getting better all the time). Still hoping you join the ranks of satisfied nano owners - many of us happily stoned from such a small amount of material that we don't sweat the small stuff too much anymore. Problems tend to turn to, "How am I going to keep this shit fresh since it is going to last me 3 times as long?"

A word to others who may be looking, though.... If you have specific shipping requests it's probably a good idea to get them figured out and confirmed before pulling the trigger and expecting something different than what many in this thread have reported. Same as anywhere else, special requests aren't always seen - no less granted. Probably a good idea whether you're buying a vape from a small company, or anything else from anywhere.

@SecureSwede ... sorry to hear of your parcel receipt situation. Don't think I could live like that in the 21st century. I live in the boonies, which generally adds a day to any shipping for me, and that's bad enough! The bonus is that Amazon bumps my Prime a month every time they miss their date and I contact them. Probably not too big a deal for one of the 10 largest retailers in the country. By comparison, I don't think Epic has yet jumped into the top 1,000,000. But, If I were in that situation I'd have to work something out with the savings found from leaning away from brick & mortar buying.

Again (I think I said this last time) I'm still over the moon with my nano. I rarely check this thread as I doubt you can improve on perfection (a removable cord would be ok I suppose...). Just stopped by to check in and say I still love my nano more than is explainable.

Thank you @ACE OF VAPE you done good mate. Keep happy, be kind and peace out (from the UK).

But I do love my nano... I will admit this little log is a beast. Not quite as hard hitting as the Evo but seriously for nearly 1/3 of the price I would not pay for an Evo, I prefer the smallness of the nano any day.

:clap: Welcome to the dark side

Yes, as much frustration as many of us have had dealing with EpicVape, we can't hate the vape. No matter how much we may hate the ordering experience. You're not the first to want to return (or destroy) their Nano upon receipt, only to fall in love with it

Don't forget, you can also purchase spare Nano stems and GonG's from other accessory makers on this forum from now on. You don't have to buy them from Epicvape.com

Melting Pot

Sick & Twisted
Thanks to @Melting Pot, I finally got to try out an exotic E-nano for the first time this weekend and I must say, I am impressed.
@DieHard U won't be disappointed!!! we didn't even get to try a convection dabbing due to that new Erlectric D-nail.
I must say that is pretty sweet having a hot Nail at the ready. Low temp dabbing with a carb cap is the way to go.
Back on topic get a sweet piece of wood @Snappo contact @ACE OF VAPE and ENJOY!!! You will only use your solo when away from a power outlet.
