Discontinued VapeXhale Cloud EVO

Can anyone confirm if you get discreet packaging when ordering through Vapexhale directly? I plan on buying the Vapexchiller, but I definitely need discreet packaging.
As the other member said, the package name will say VapeX, otherwise the package looks discreet. Just have it held for pickup at one of the shipper's facilities. Its free and you won't have to worry about discretion. Of course, I say this under the assumption that the shipper has locations nearby and you have the time to go during the day.

Here are 2 videos of the EVO with the new Vapexhale honeycomb sidecar.
Please excuse the fact I was sick when I made these videos.

EVO with shatter in VapeXnail.

EVO with dry herb at low temps.

The EVO is an absolute beast!
I've got to get one!

I'm looking at a USPS shipping label that shows "Vape-X" as the shipper, with the PA address. I wouldn't rely on this as indicative of what VXL does now, though - I can't find a date on it.

Your concern was raised quite a while ago, and VXL did change its shipping procedure. But I suspect that fulfillment is coming from a separate location now, possibly by a contractor. I would query Support; surely they have dealt with this requirement a number of times.

oldiebutgoodie,
My most recent package arrived in a plain box that wasn't marked except for "Vape Ex" as the shipper name on the label. I don't honestly remember previous purchases :(
got my cloud back from repairs about 2 weeks ago, just plain brown box, shipping label and thats it really

Thanks for the information, everyone. I can live with VapeX on the shipping label. Just made my order.

I'm sad - looks like the seal for my chiller is already having problems. Noticed as I was putting it in the freezer that the sealed area where the tube glass meets the glass plug has started moving around. Touching it just a bit I can tell that it would easily come out and result in glycerin (?) spilling all over my desk. Time to open a support case with VapeXhale! I've had great luck with their customer service so far.

End of day edit: Received a response from a manager today. I've taken a video of the issue and they will be sending this to the manufacturer to figure out the next step. It's a new product, so this may not only be my problem. I'll update the thread once I receive more information. I'd have to hold off on recommending this without more information since the price is steep and I wouldn't want to steer people towards a product with an issue.

I've always had problems with these kinds of bowls, ash catchers or any kind of piece with glycerin. Seems like it's the same story every time, works great for a few uses and then has problems.

Just received a follow up email from one of their managers and they will be sending me a new chiller today. The manufacturer told them that the defect was a single case and should not be present in other chillers. I guess the nature of how these glass items are made means there's a chance you can run into a problem. I'll update if I have any problems with the second one but just due to the incredible customer service I'd have to go back to recommending this product. I feel comfortable that the buyer would be taken care of even if they did run into a problem.

As a plus...I'll now have the chance to try stacking two chillers :science:. Might as well do some mad science before the first one leaks.

A while back @OrdinaryJoe posted that he had purchased the following bubbler from DHgate. A friend asked me to buy it for him, figuring $36 was a decent bet.

http://www.dhgate.com/product/glass-bong-glass-water-pipe-glass-smoking/210983362.html

Well, the piece was received last week and my friend is quite pleased. It is a bit similar in style to the Hydrafoot 2.0, except that the joint is not on top for an HT, so it's used inverted. And the perc is much smaller than the large circ in the HF, but it does the job. My friend knows that it is only a matter of time before his HT gets broken by his over-exuberant very large dog, so he wanted a cheap back-up piece. The glass is thin, not remotely as sturdy as the HF. but nevertheless seems to be surprisingly well made. I wouldn't trade it for my HF which I like very much, but it is certainly worth only 15% the price of the HF.

This was my first experience buying from DHgate, and I gotta say I was impressed. The transaction was very clean, their tracking system is good, the item was very well packaged, arrived on time from China, and the seller doesn't get paid until the buyer is satisfied. I can't speak to their other merchandise or sellers, but fwiw this exceeded our expectations.

I'm also wondering if I would be able to use my chiller with the nail attachment. I've avoided it so far because I'm worried about the thin hot glass of the nail meeting a frozen surface. Seems like a recipe for some bad happenings but I haven't taken a science class in 10 years ;).

Edit: vv I'll have to. The nail fits into the joint with a super thin rim of what looks like normal glass. I've already broken two nails in stupid ways so I'm not looking to mess up another!

Since the chiller sits directly on the EVO joint, I presume that there is no glass shock because the joints are both boro. If the glass nail is boro too, it might work. The quartz nail, I haven't any idea. This would be a good question to ask VXL.

My Vapexchiller just came in. Haven't used it yet, but it looks intact and I see no signs of leakage or spillage.

I've never messed with one of these before so I have 2 questions.

1. How long should or can I keep it in the freezer? Should I only put it in about 20 minutes before a session, or is it okay if it's in there for hours? Or days? Does it not make a difference?
2. Should I use the keck clip that comes with it if I use the included dry mouthpiece? Should I use the keck clip if I use it with my SideTree HT? What's the point of it exactly; isn't the glass-on-glass connection already pretty tight and secure without it?

I think the idea is that you won't easily drop and break it by picking it up from the mouthpiece. The point should be if you just want straight vapor without diffusion (which can take away flavor). You get the chill so it isn't as harsh but of course it'll be pretty dry! It says in the directions to store in the freezer on their website, so I just keep it in there at the ready.

Thanks, that's what I figured but I just wanted to be 100% sure.

Also, I'll experiment with both glass pieces. :)

I just saw they added a new hydrabase- bomb addition to the accessories store.

A matrix hydratube/ bubbler is what I've always wanted for the EVO...and my Swagger hydrafoot has gotten more use than any other piece I'e ever had.

Ughhh. Vapexhale wants to break my wallet.

I'm sure it's been asked but is there any way to get the chiller without the mouthpiece (already have 1) for less?

Is there any hydratube that people really like? There are so many options. The top two I am looking at is the hydrabomb and the turbine for hydratubes. I am in no hurry to purchase. Is there a certain hydratube that I should be looking/waiting for?

If you see one you want I'd suggest too ahead and but it. The Hydratubes selections are constantly changing. I have both of those and both are fucking Epic! For maximum flavor out of those two, go turbine for ultra smooth hit go with the bomb!!

What's up with these bigger base HydraTubes up now? Is there a purpose for the lower chamber to be bigger?

Edit:
After looking at the Hydrabase...thinking maybe the two tubes meet flush there, like they go together kinda thing. Would look sweet actually.

I have been trying to look for cheaper hydratubes than what vapexhale has out, has anyone had any experience using the pinnacle WT with it? I know I would need to get a 14 to 18mm attachment.

@solodolo420 Here is a picture of the EVO with an 18mm pinnacle watertool. I'm not a big fan of the 18mm PWT because it takes sooo much water to get it past the slits.
It works sufficiently enough on low temps.

Here is a picture of the Vapexhale honeycomb hydrotube on the EVO with a size comparison.

Close to the same size with exception to the side car, but night and day difference when it comes to usage.
The PWT has a much warmer draw on low temps than the Vapexhale hydro tube does.

IMO a 14mm PWT would technically work ok, but would be hotter, and the draws would be smaller.

Are you dead set against inverting the unit? The cheapest hydratube is none of the above. The hydratubes are very nice, but cost a pretty penny. You can get many other options in glass for much less. The only caveat is you have to use a whip adapter if you're using the VXNail, can't invert with that.

I prefer the Glass Blowers Direct Assasins Neck Tie to the PWT. I use mine with my Evo from time to time to change it up. I actually like it quite a bit when using for VXN hits.
