Discontinued The Herbalizer

Here are a couple pics of one of VXL's hydratubes sitting on the GonG connector I always have attached to my Herbie bowls.

Has anybody used these? Are they different at all lol... I don't know much about glass. Just want one with little draw resistance

I'd suggest giving some thought to where your Herbie usually sits while you vape and how you want to hit your glass piece. I find little tubes like the f-Bomb to not be the best fit for most larger home vapes like the Herbie. My f-Bomb gets used with my Solo or miniVAP a good bit, but I almost never use it with my Herbie because it would involve bending over close to the Herbie and inhaling straight up. This is just awkward IMO.

If I was choosing some glass to use with just the Herbie, I'd either use the whip with the glass or choose a larger hydratube that can more easily be hit without hovering over the Herbie awkwardly.

It's much easier for me to use my larger hydratube with angled mouthpiece so I don't have to bend all the way over the Herbie. In fact, I often use a couple extra GonG joints to extend the height of the HT for even easier use. IMO, the draw resistance is very minimal with any of the smaller hydratubes.

All this talk of hydra tubes is making me itch for more glass ( the last thing I need lol ). But if I was gonna put a tube full of water above the heater of my 700$ vape, id make sure it has a reservoir at the bottom to hold any water that might accidentally get blown downwards, like how that grav labs HT has. Safety first!

Great point to mention! Even with a water reservoir, an HT sitting on Herbie is probably not the setup you want to let inexperienced friends use.

....great setup..

Thanks...I call it the Tower of Flower :leaf:

I'm afraid to ever use a setup like that with my Herbie just because I am afraid of water leaking down into it. That's why I use the Infamous Bubbler with whip tubing attached to the bowl.

I love the nearly 100% glass airpath of my HT tower, but I usually opt for using my GonG whip with a Mobius Atom bubbler. It's really nice to be able to kick back and move the bubbler to me instead of sitting on the edge of my seat to hit the Tower of Flower.

I like your setup. Is there a reason you use such a long piece of tubing?

I posted a picture of my setup a few pages back, and you can see I use a really short piece of whip tubing.

I actually have 2 whips set up with GonG connectors...one 24" and one 34". I like the 34" whip best because it allows me to sit back and relax...and also pass to a few people without moving Herbie.

The female GonG whip connecter works very well to catch most of the condensed vapor so there's barely anything in the actual whip tubing to clean. That tells me I'm not losing much vapor by using a bit longer whip

Anyone know a good watertool to use with their herbie?

Like an f bomb or a pinnacle water thingy....

What are glass pieces like that called...(with the connection at the bottom)

Would they work well with a herbie (planning on using it with the mighty too)

I use an F-bomb and a D020 with the Herbie. I connect them with an @Ed's TnT wong attached to my whip tubing. My Herbalizer issues notwithstanding I do think that is a great setup to utilize water tools without having water hovering over such a pricey device. I think one could probably get very impressive clouds with a setup like this.

@Vicki how is your vapor production with your setup? Do you find that you need the fan assist at this point?

For those concerned about water, when I use my Hydratube I have these two 18mm male/18mm female adapters with pinches in them with hemp fiber filters. It solves a bunch of problems for me.

1. Smooths out my hits. I have sensitive lungs. Smoking is impossible for me and vaping can be difficult.
2. Keeps glass clean.
3. Acts as additional buffer if water goes down the middle of my hydratube. It happened once and saved my EVO.
4. Traps that golden honey on the fibers that I can then vape later for a different more surreal high.
5. Makes the Hydratube closer to my mouth so I don't have to really bend over.

It is an efficient system for me that makes life better.

I did before I sent my Herbie in to be re-calibrated. Now I just use the fan assist towards the end of my session, or if I am not feeling well, and need an extra boost. The length of my whip is pretty short, and I don't feel any resistance when I'm taking a hit.

Glass newbie here.

I bought a 18mm bubbler along with the appropriate 90 degree glass whip adapter from two different, well-regarded vendors in search of the Herbalizer Water Experience.

Unfortunately I am getting vapor leakage at the connection point between bubbler and adapter. The adapter does not seem to fit securely (loosely) into the bubbler-with a little force I can get it in tighter which somewhat limits the leakage. However, it is still present and I obviously don't want to be using force with glass.

I do not find any cracks anywhere. Can anyone inform me of a potential solution to this? I have the strange sense that I am overlooking something obvious. I could not find anything relevant in searching the site.

cosmic badger,
It is indeed that the right size-18mm. Pics are a slight problem-unfortunately there will be a delay there but I will try and get them out. The set up is about as simple as possible. From end to beginning 18mm bubbler with female dewaar joint, male 18mm degree 90 degree whip adapter, tubing, top of herbalizer bowl. Hopefully my terminology is correct.
