MJ withdrawal comparison: vaping and combustion

Hi fellow FC peeps,
I'm new to vaping and have been vaping for 2 months now, using about .5 a day of some sativa. I have notice a major difference in my lungs, overall "lighter" feeling in my body compared to combustion and pretty much doubled efficiency . I use less to get a cleaner high and better taste , the abv peanut butter was fun also:lol:. I truly get now why the forum is called fuckcombustion lol.

Back to topic

As I am down to my last bowl, the period of withdrawal is coming , i was just wondering how the vaping withdrawal compare to combustion withdrawal for other people . Before when I combusted spliffs daily for a month, when I stopped the withdrawal effect was not pleasant but I could handle it no problem, just had loss of appetite ,insomnia and felt edgy. I read that withdrawal from vaping daily is pretty much the same symptoms but I was just wondering if since vaping has less tar and all those other bad things for your body the withdrawal might be less unpleasant than combusting, it would be hard for me to judge since I smoked spiffs before so any input from people who smoked pure bud daily would be useful.
thanks everybody , any input is appreciated

Bebop,
IMO the withdrawal will be similar but perhaps not as bad. We consume less toxins with vaporizing so I am guessing that stopping might not be quite as unpleasant as if you had been combusting for the same period.

I see , I was thinking the same thing , but I was just wondering if the difference is big or small, I would guess that the difference would be big since so much stuff you don't want is left in the abv like tar and such.

I agree with @max. My pattern has been to take a two month break every summer while I'm out of the country, and I've never noticed any withdrawal at all. I've also not noticed any difference when I start again, so for me at least the whole idea of a "t-break" is meaningless. There are many people who swear by them however, therefore I'd never say that they don't work at all. My point is that I don't feel the effects of stopping and starting but others do, so your question might get you lots of opinions but you can't conclude that any of them will apply to you.

I see what you guys are saying , I guess it's just one of those questions that have too many variables to learn anything definitively from all the different answers . thank you guys for your time , I was just wondering if the difference would be big enough for most people to notice

I take a one or two week T break a couple times a year. When stopping I really don't notice any kind of withdrawal symptoms... Welll, maybe a bit of irritability or mild insomnia for a day or two...that's about it. As to the benefit of T breaks, I'll have to agree with Pakalolo. I do not experience any noticeable decrease in tolerance when I start up again. So why do I do it? I really don't know anymore. Maybe I just like to take a break for the sake of taking a break. For me, t breaks simply don't work.

So I generally break during the week and wait for the weekend. But I had a daily thing going for a while during a trip to Nola and then the blizzard. I haven't dome anything for the past 2 days and didn't want to today but I feel my weakness coming on as it is Friday Highday. I don't really notice real withdrawal but II find I'm calmer after I get high.

I can tell I'm not making it today.

I guess the word withdrawal in the thread title can be a little misleading . I just meant the symptoms that can come on after you stop using bud after long periods of time , not withdrawal like drugs , this is good old herb after all;) . On my 10th day of t break , I felt the usual symptoms the first couple days, some appetite loss , mild insomnia , some irritability and also felt a little bored lol after a couple days i felt good as new , the symptoms were way more mild than when I was combusting for long periods of time, the insomnia and appetite loss was more severe than vaping for sure , but was still tolerable and passed completely after a couple days also. Maybe it's because some people's bodies can process and detoxify the tar and all the nasty stuff from combustion better than others , that's why only some people notice a difference between vaping withdrawal symptoms and combusting withdrawal symptoms ?( excuse me for using the word withdrawal again , as English is not my native language so I could not find a proper word to describe the general mild symptoms of stopping herb use after long periods of time)

"Withdrawal" is the correct word. What you are asking about is the degree, that is, how strong the symptoms are. I get withdrawal symptoms if I don't have my morning coffee: irritation and maybe a mild headache. I don't notice any symptoms if I don't have my cannabis.

I've only taken a dab in the past few days due to overproduction of mucus so I stopped a lot including flowers. I realize no withdrawal other than it takes a little longer to fall asleep. I'm having more vivid dreams instead of just no dreams at all. These past few days I woke up multiple times in the early AM because my dreams were nightmares.
