ABV Green Tea

I am a big tea drinker and was always wanting to somehow infuse marijuana into it. Although I knew it wouldn't work, Ive tried steeping weed in hot water. Had no effects obviously, but had a nice flavor. I even tried infused coconut oil in tea, but it had a weird flavor. I noticed there was a company that sells infused green and black tea. On the label it says it has Maltodextrin in it. Maltodextrin, specifically N Zorbit M, will take a liquified fat or oil, absorb it, and turn it into a powder that is water-soluble.
So, how I believe they make it is absorb cannabutter into the Maltodextrin then mix into tea of your choice.

Although I have not made this myself yet, here is a speculative recipe that I will try later next month and report back.

Ingredients

Maltodextrin- has to be N Zorbit M kind
1 stick of butter
8 g of ABV
Green Tea

Items

Slow cooker
Spoon
Cup
Strainer
Cheese cloth
Bowl

Recipe

Start by making ABV butter
1) Put 1 stick of butter and 8g of ABV in slow cooker
2) Cook on low heat for 4-6 hours stirring once per hour
3) Take metal mesh strainer, place it over bowl and layer cheese cloth over the mesh, this allows for better filtering
4) Pour butter mixture into the strainer to filter out ABV, use spoon to push out as much of the infuse butter as possible
5) Mix in Maltodextrin so that there is a 60% ABV butter to 40% Maltodextrin ratio.
6) This should turn to powder that makes 8 doses.
7) Pour a cup of tea and mix in a dose of the powder.

I encourage anyone with experience or knowledge to please comment or make suggestions as I have never done this and would like some feedback.

But I like it!
I have some almost black liquid. It started as an inch of everclear 195, and has been used for cleaning glass. Plus I dropped a blob of qwec in it. It should be quite heady once a spoonful or two gets into the honey.

But I'll look forward to learning more about a maltodextrin solution! I can't imagine a more convenient method to travel - talk about stealthy!

Edit -
Here is an interesting article that would appear to back up your idea -

What did you infuse with, and what was the ratio? I find a couple of spoonfuls of a decently strong tincture to give a small container of honey a fairly potent effect. It's been awhile, but I used 2 or 3 tablespoonfuls to about 3x that amount of honey. It lasted me a week, adding to tea in the mornings...
