Thanks! Unless you have the air blowing around in your freezer, I'd say it takes about 15 mins for the material in the glass to freeze. I like to shove it in the ice box. It then stays frozen for up to 20 minutes, depending on how long it was left to freeze in the first place. Usually I front load my sessions, using the Evo like a whip vape for a few little tasty hits until I take a big hit and clear. Until you reach the highest temps on the knob (past 80% I'd say), the chiller really works on cooling the hits down so that you can hold them as long as you want with no lung or throat irritation. The air is nicely cooled without being TOO cold and irritating. I can't provide a comparison since this is really my first water-focused vape setup (my previous ice experience was a RooR Lil' Sista icemaster) but it is very easy to use, fits snugly between the other two pieces and definitely keeps my hits cool in the time period I use it for. It comes with a glass mouthpiece if you want to bypass the water entirely and just get more cooled flavor. After my initial hits I like to just pop it back in the freezer until I'm going to use it again. I do recommend wiping the joints out real quick before putting in the freezer if there is a lot of water in there from the thaw. Just stops there from being any tiny ice blockages in the joint that keep you from stacking easily.

Great review of the new chiller. I'm really tempted, but budget-constrained and have been sorta holding out hopes for the new incycler coming available again. So many options, so little time/money . . .

I wouldn't get your hopes up :/. When I spoke with Brianne and the customer service they said that this was a one time run on the incycler and they had very few. Also she told me they're moving away from swagger glass in general. I think they're starting to produce they're own line.

Good to know. Gives me a little chuckle . . . when VXL launched the first Cloud, there was a lot of hoopla about the top-line glass blowers they were using. Shortly later they announced an in-house line of glass; I got one of the first, a circ, which IMO was clearly not up to the Evolver and SSFG pieces. This side of their business has been one of the more challenging to manage. Now going back to their own branded line, although I wonder if that is really in-house vs sub-contracted. They have to find a way to bring the price points down while maintaining consistent quality; they haven't got to that point yet.

Here are 2 videos of the EVO with the new Vapexhale honeycomb sidecar.
Please excuse the fact I was sick when I made these videos.

EVO with shatter in VapeXnail.

EVO with dry herb at low temps.

The EVO is an absolute beast!
Damn. How do you get so many hits from such a small dab?

@mixchu69 That is just how efficient the EVO is!
I usually get more hits than that, but I had to stop and take a drink a few times and wasted probably 3 or 4 hits.
I have a better EVO shatter video I sent to Seibo.
Hopefully he will post it up here, that video will blow your mind!

Nice vids. I find hitting anything after the last of the vapor forms is just yucky residue burnoff, when hitting anything made with butane.

I also like the multidab approach but also enjoy the big 20+ second hit. Just a joy on the Evo.

Wish it would cool down faster after cranking it for the 5 o'clock burnoff. I find myself blowing on the unit to cool it down faster back to the next 12 o'clock hit. If not, just too hot and waste of the concentrate.

Curiously it's been nearly 2 months wih no Quartz restock. Remaining patient...

Anyone with experience have any suggestions for a second hydra tube (made by whoever) or an attachment for my setup? Down the line I'm sure I'll want a second piece just for variety. I'm dreaming of the smoothest possible hit, even though I feel now like it can't get any smoother! There's something to be said for mad science.

As a bonus, here's a shot of this thing in action without the chiller so that you can easily see the diffusion head on. Very cool how new phones will automatically make a .gif for you! Also, thanks to whoever earlier in the thread recommended the magic flight finishing grinder (pictured here next to the RooR). I bought one from that recommendation and have been using it to give the bud a second pass out of the main grinder. Allows you to fit way more product into your bowl without going over the halfway mark, so you keep that excellent airflow going!

Hi, so I'm an international EVO customer here, like many of us I eagerly pledged my $500 to the indiegogo campaign well ahead of manufacture to help support this company and get it off the ground.

I now would really like an actual factual date on when working international units will ship out. I have been extremely patient and waited well over 18 months for a working unit, while all the while well over 20 different products- hydratubes, feet, sidecars, nails, quartz nails, vape sleeves and other products have been released and sold while all I want is the ability to milk up a tube for the $500 I parted with many moons ago.

If I'm not going to receive a working unit, or you can't provide me with a shipping date, can I have my money refunded so I can go and buy a nice vaporizer please? Seems like your making money now.

Seibo? Ben?

Frankly, while Cloud Evo reps may browse this forum I don't think you'll have the greatest chance here. My recommendation is to talk to a live agent using their chat software on the website (when you are browsing and that window pops up). It is an actual person who can get you hooked up with a manager's contact information on request. I had a customer service issue last month that the chat rep wasn't authorized to handle and had a manager respond within the same business day. The issue was resolved the following day.

Pressure from forums admittedly can damage a company's reputation over time, but putting direct pressure on their support representatives should be more effective. You want help now.

Wow. Supporters from Europe still don't have a working unit. I totally understnd bridgesoid anger. But good things happen to those who wait. With the ingenuity of this comany, I doubt they will leave the Europeans with nothing. It's too big of a market. I think they are creating something special for you

As crap as the whole intl wait has been, they're on the up and up and will definitely refund you if that's your desire.

I cancelled about a month or 2 ago and got a sub.

Psshh, if the last ~18 months is any indicator, the only thing special they're making is a 2 week wait and pictures of the new toys US owners have access to.

The whole intl thing has been managed very poorly ime...

Planetvape :)

I had to kick in a bit extra, but my igg refund covered most of it.

I got the Ti version, dabmaster, sub cage, and sub buddy, all of which cost a bit extra, So you might not have to add any extra $$ if you go for the SS Apollo.

Edit;
While I'm here,

What do you get when you combine
3 FC members, a cloud+, 2 sublimators, a dnail,
A cloud buddy, a sub buddy, a custom hydra foot adapter, and
An EFS gridded donut?

I use a SSFG Hydraline atop the HT 2.0. I really like in-line percs, done right they're very smooth and have great diffusion (check the HL vid). The HL accomodates ice. Sometimes I use ice only, sometimes just water (like your setup), sometimes both (the slowly melting ice keeps the water cold). Whichever, always smooth (the only currently sold HT with 5 flow marks), even more so with the HF. And no possibility of water reaching the EVO joint. I  this setup.

Can anyone confirm if you get discreet packaging when ordering through Vapexhale directly? I plan on buying the Vapexchiller, but I definitely need discreet packaging.

My most recent package arrived in a plain box that wasn't marked except for "Vape Ex" as the shipper name on the label. I don't honestly remember previous purchases :(
