I have both and it seems like the box actually darkens the bud just a little bit more. But my DBV seems to be more effient in it gets fuller hits and more of them. So what I would suggest if you want to get the most out of your herb. Is take a few drags of it out of the DBV and then transfer it to the box to finish it off.

Honestly I think this would be hard to tell because most of the heat regulation in the MFLB relies on user inhale. I know with both the batteries and the power adapter can get hot enough to combust herb if there is no inhale when the power is on

You could also do the reverse. The DBV can get plenty hot. If you want to vape hot enough to get black ABV, either of these models will do.

I'd say that was irrelevant since it can reach combustion, with or without the PA.

I use my vm2 for my MF abv. It gives a real nice toasty flavor. But, with that being said my flight really does a good job just as long as I dont over fill my trench.

I've met some people locally that are new to the vapor community and they think they have to fill the trench with their new found toy but to me the less the better. I just keep refilling as needed. :2c:

I bought some Sanyo eneloops but they don't work in my MFLB, its not my unit because my PowerEX ones still work fine.

I took off the plastic skin, tried rotating it in, tried removing the pushback ring and made sure they're fully charged and they work fine in other electronics.

The only thing I haven't done is remove all the goop on the outside of the battery, I didn't do it with my PowerEX ones and they worked fine in my MFLB. Is the residue on my eneloops causing them to not work?

Edit: I scrapped off half of the goop with a pen knife and they work now. :p

Enloops or any batts. have to be at least 2000 mah or they will not work in the LB,
but will work fine in less demanding devices. :2c:
I alwlays clean all goop residue completely off.
I worry about goop build-up inside the batt. housing.

Are there any plans to make a liquid pad for the mf? I would love to be able to do native earwax in the box.

Hi,

Yes, there are plans in place for this. The design is complete -- alpha stage testing is still pending and system ops are still in draft. It will be a little while yet before I can say much about these.

It has happened 4 times over the last month and starting to cause damage to the screen
is there something i'm doing wrong?

My guess is you need to contact Magic Flight and ask them some questions. Most likely your box is running a little to hot.

You're probably holding the battery in too long/letting the herb rest too much on the screen without moving. The design for the MFLB is actually kinda crude--so it will keep getting hotter the longer it has a complete connection. If you let it get too hot, it will combust. You can cool it by letting it heat up for a shorter amount of time before taking your hit, or (if it is combusting after you start your hit) breath in quicker to begin with to cool it down before it burns.

Edit: Also remember to shake up the herb. If you leave the dry, vaped weed in contact with the screen, it will combust easier.

If it is ignited, DO NOT breath faster, it will enhance the heat and that can't be good. When I ignite I immediately blow the herb out. Ignition happens about 3 times a month to me. I am happy with the box performance, but is it running too hot? I have normal heat up times, sometimes when I roast it without drawing I can do it about for 20 seconds without any combustion. But other times, I can draw from the box and within few seconds (from the battery contact) it is on fire. Weird.

Oh joy! I have been using my backup box as a dedicated oil vape by putting a little in the back corner, and I must say it is amazing! I can't wait to see what MF has in store for us regarding a concentrate add-on! :ko:

I have a friend (that I bought a mflb for his birthday) that has recently has seen the amazing breakthrough in concentrates that are BHO. He is less and less interested in weed, and just wants to run batches of bho instead. He will also be thrilled to know there is a concentrate pad in the works! :D

Btw I got my WA today! Thank you very much!

I went out and bought an Ehle 250ml with a 14mm gg fitting, It works a charm and I must say I was quite amazed at the thickness of the vapor.

I don't know if any of you remember me saying I was going to be interested to see if i could duplicate vitolo's video. Well i'm not shooting a vid, but let me just say the clouds are impressive!

kushty: nice triple post bro, learn to use edit.

MFLB can vape fine grind fast and evenly. Very find grind is just a little faster(maybe even more evenly).

If you will attach a bag somehow, you can blow into air intake. I'm not gonna do it. I don't want my breath go to the MFLB and bag several times...

Whats up Kushty? Personally I feel that space cases are over priced. I use a mendo mulcher, you can two or three piece and their made in the USA. They are in my opinion the dankest grinders ever. As far as a carry around, I like sharp stone...teeth can be replaced if broken, great screens that dont clog easily for my pollen, and they run almost half the price of a typical space case.
