Cheap High Quality Bubbler

Thanks for all the help guys, I actually ended up finding the bubblers I initially saw here and they were DHGs lol, may just end up ordering from there, was more or less looking to order American so I wouldn't have to wait 2-3 weeks for shipping, doesn't matter if its an American based company that sells Chinese glass as long as the glass is decent.

Wasn't in any rush really, just wanted to get some info for a week or two when I do end up ordering. Appreciate it, probably will just go through DHG but some of these Aqua Lab stuff is pretty nice

In that case check out BakeBros, greenbuddhashop, pipesdaddy, thickqualityglass or glassblowersdirect for the cheaper stuff. But DHGate and AliEx deals are tough to beat. :cheers:

My order from Sunshine Glass only took about a week to arrive on the East Coast of the US. The longest part of shipping was it being held up by customs.

Looks great, I just can't get over the sounds it makes. I don't like hearing glass clang on glass, I prefer to here the serene sound of bubbles.

Is there any functional benefit or is it just for looks? I guess it does stir the water some.

Yea, I can't help but picture it one day chipping or outright shattering from the constant banging vibrations. These pieces break wayyyy to easily. Moving parts worry me lol

The piece is very cool tho.

Edit: Actually did not order it yet, saw some people on FB as recently as last week saying they have not gotten their orders yet and have contacted CS with no response....will wait to see what comes of that.

A buddy of mine dropped 500+ on a real micro and I love it. He's a total glass snob though, so I've been trying to find a legit china clone to compare with his. If the comparison is anything like my gb-186 to a real stereo matrix, it will hopefully get him to sit lower on his incredibly high horse.

Any chance of getting a function video? I'd love to see it hit before I drop 60 bucks on it...

Right now I have a QB 001 I got from SSS that I love. Unfortunately, it's too large to travel with. I'm now in the market for a bubbler that transports easily and will work well with the Lotus and E-Nano. I don't need much diffusion at all and I want as little chug as possible. Anyone know a good candidate?

Ideally, I'd like something that fits into my every day carry bag. I'm working on a travel-vape kit so I never have to be without my sweet, conditioned vapor. The smaller the better. I was planning on selling my bong to get it, but I would not be adverse to having a travel bubbler and a home bubbler.

It is a foot tall (the mouthpiece from the table, so it is usually a great piece for using while sitting.

Seconding all of this, and adding that I think the GB-186 provides a fantastic balance of diffusion/cooling, low drag and flavor retention. I think it's a supremely well-rounded daily driver.

Okay so I thought I was overpaying dhgate seller coolbong, for a gb-187, and I was okay with that because the only other seller (yingmin5) only had it listed in quantities of 12 or more and I really wanted one because it looks like my gb-186's smaller sibling. But what I received is another gb-186.

Coolbong's packaging was better than yingmin5's, instead of using the larger bubblewrap around the outside these guys constructed a "mini ice chest" out of 1" foam slabs:

So I didn't get what I wanted or what the listing pictures (it doesn't come up when searching for a gb-186 anymore but it did when I bought it), but I got what I paid for. I have no idea how to complain about this!

Personally, I'd see what the return process is. If you don't get what you ordered, you have the right to receive the proper item. DHGate makes a big deal out of having checks and balances in place for the buyer too.

Just got the recycler from CCG. Order placed on the 17th and arrived the 27th. I got tracking within hours that was updating by morning. Then, I never got a text for a tracking scan in the US until it hit my post office last night(usually I get a customs scan and have to wait a few more days). Overall I like it, mostly for the novelty. The glass is pretty thin, more than any other piece I have. I will probably use it for a few days and put it up and go back to the D020-X. Also I don't think I will order anything 14mm anymore, it just feels small and I like everything to work together. I don't have anything else 14 but really wanted this piece. Anyway, thanks to those that ordered them first you really influenced this with some great videos. I always wanted a recycler and I am glad I made it this one.

In doing research today, I ended up ordering this:

There is a special on the front page for a 15 inch, Honeycomb diffused bong that was basically what I was looking for, with the discount it ended up right around $70 for shipping to. It was slightly more than I wanted to pay, but that piece looked nice, it will be here by the weekend, and frankly I just didn't feel like perusing anymore for the best deal lol.

@hanfhead Glad to see someone else likes the D020-X. I have the blue mouthpiece version with the more extreme bend in the neck. I love this piece.

@HellsWindStaff If you like honeycombs, this one is my favorites. I run this guy with my nano and it is perfect for me. Very easy to milk it and get the large hits when I want. $33-ish shipped to your door in about 2 weeks.
