Hey guys, just took some time to get caught up. All the new stuff posted on Steven page are prototypes that will be put into production once any kinks are worked out. With the exception of the Torus things are looking pretty good in my opinion.

Somehow they forgot to put the holes in the perc on the Torus. I think it still has the holes at the top of the funnel. In the video all the water is being sucked up the return. Besides this error he has done a really good job.

I would like the top chamber to be smaller in the mini pillar.

I will work on getting joint sizes for everything.

I asked for pictures of all the pieces next to a ruler. I also suggested that he include a Bic lighter in his pictures. I would consider it the universal size comparison for smokers

edit: any of you wanting left handed 187 they are now available. He labeled them kind of funny. "right neck" is the left handed version. Hopefully none of you get mixed up and everyone gets what they want

I think the incycler has 1 hole in the side of the perc you can see it fire. They just need a couple of more and to raise the water level and it should fire.

The whole bottom perc needs slitted/gridded. Water levels won't help.

Took me awhile but I finally see what is going on in the video. The vapor comes in through the stem, into the bottom perc, out that one single hole into the big chamber. Then it flows through the tube in the bottom perc, which keeps it separate, up to the top funnel.

They must think watching it funnel is the whole idea of the piece.

I disagree.
I believe that a change in water level would have a profound effect.

Yeah, well, that's just, like, your opinion, man.

I'll try and get video eventually, but at the moment I'm a bit dabbed out :ko:

Interesting piece, made very well, nice and clean and functions well. Flavor is full on

Cheers!

That looks beautiful, turned out better than I thought it would! Random question, is the base flat or is it curved inward on the bottom?

I wish that the mini pillar could have a lefties sidecar. I'm not digging the glass support for the sidecar mouthpiece. Looks funny to me. Hope they work this out.

Thank you! I'm anxious to see it. Mine (I think) just left China. :myday: :bang:

In the meantime, any more initial thoughts? How does the flavor and smoothness compare to other pieces? How much resistance is there in the pull? Would you call it your new daily driver?

Does anyone think cheap vape whip H20 adapters from DHGate would be a good idea? Or maybe something like a copy of the SSV wand which is popular here for use with other desktop vapes? Just throwing the idea out there.

Yea, not sure how or why I got mine so fast...but hey! I'll take it. Hopefully others get theirs soon as well.

Some initial thoughts...though I think I've only taken 4 or 5 dabs through it yet...so hopefully I'll have more to say later today or tomorrow...

Really liking it so far...clean, fun to use, and neat action.

The flavor is the most pronounced of any piece I've been using for dabs lately. I switched between a couple strains and could really taste the differences, which was cool. I also took one dab that was a bit too hot, and I could taste that mistake as well...I haven't found that to be as apparent as my other rigs.

The resistance is pretty low, but take a bit to get it going initially. The clink of the glass bead is kinda neat, but freaked me out a bit at first...just not used to it I guess.

I'll be using it for sure as my daily driver for the next week at least, then we'll see how quickly I rotate the other rigs back in. Lately I've been preferring this hive rig from ccg and the double vortex from Kathy was fun for a bit...I also like some of the smaller 10mm rigs I have, but haven't brought them out as of late...

Overall, yea - I'm stoked, and will be rockin this one for a bit

Cheers!

and hopefully this all follows ok...was kinda rambling with the oil pen here...

I suppose one could purchase that solely for the female 18mm whip adapter, but I really meant standalone whip adapters. 18mm male would probably the be the most popular, I imagine.

Are they really that expensive? Is it worth bothering Chinese vendors to save 10 bucks?

I think it'd be convenient to be able to order adapters from the same vendor along with a new piece when you need the adapter for the piece. Also, the previously mentioned SSV wands are like 30 bucks. Would be nice to get one for around 10 if possible.

Thanks for the info @DieHard. Out of curiosity, what city is he in?

@blankrider, what ever happened to the "whip bubbler" being discussed a week or two back? After rigging my FC-187 with a DIY whip, I'm hooked. I'm now in the market for a dedicated whip bubbler.

Lastly, I hate to complain, but I'm still having issues with the FC-187's perc "weld." Due to the pocket created by the weld, using cranberry extract is a bit harder to mix it and it also collects all the loose material down there.

I just busted out my GB-187, added some extract, pulled, it's all nicely mixed. With the FC-187, I have to twirl the fucker around for a bit to get everything distributed.

It's a good piece, but I think with some changes to the mouthpiece and the perc weld, it would be a great piece. Either way, thanks for making it happen.
