Hi everybody, just to let you know there's a new volcano owner here:wave:quick question, is the volcano any good for oils/concentrates? Haven't read all the thread yet! But getting there
If you buy the oil pads I heard it works great, only issue is that it makes your valves dirty a little bit quicker.

Nice1, thanks
Also wondering has anyone on here have any experience of vaping herbs? As in lavender, eucalyptus, sage, thyme things like that? Do they work for say lavender to get rid of headaches, eucalyptus for cold relief etc??? Using a volcano of course

All herbs wont really have a huge effect, I would assume the effects from most other herbs is probably similar to drinking tea.

If you search around I believe there was a long thread on this very topic. It looked pretty interesting but I can't remember where it was.

Check the Aromed thread!
I posted a list of botanicals that you can vape along with their respective temps!

http://www.aromed.com/en/medical-plants.html#Plants

Here is the list, just click on the plant and it will tell you temps and what it is best suited for!

Well, it's been several days since I got my cano and I think it rocks. I had an HA with a bigger pump that I used for bag filling but it doesn't come close to the cano.
I like using bags because it leaves one hand free for surfing the net. Whips take two hands usually.
I like the fact that it's a classic because I do not care for the auto shut off feature of the digit.
And how great is the solid valve system!!!! Best around imo.
I think it's worth the money and I would buy one if I could afford it and I loved vaping from bags.

Im way too pumped to be able to use my volcano again, I move back to my apartment on saturday. Which means solid valve bags all day :). I havnt had time to try the solid valve yet, I feel like its superior compared to easy valve. It just seems so much sturdier and well built. Im going to have my easy valves for parties and solid valve for myself.

The solid valve is awesome for parties.

You can throw the solid valve around like a dart to pass it in a group.. Make sure your receiver is aware of whats incoming, or you'll spend a lot of time with the valve hitting the ground, searching for the little plastic mouthpiece.
I would of said the other way around!

Just received my volcano digital through the post! First bag straight up to 230degrees c, very nice! Was a mess for a while

Has anyone received a replacement plastic housing for the solid valve, from storz n Bickel?

I emailed them about vapor leaking out of the slits, they said the new housing should fix the issue.

I am awaiting its arrival, but I have a feeling it isn't going to change much.

That's weird because I've just got a new volcano with both solid and easy valve! My first thoughts on the solid valve is I'm sure it's leaking!

My solid valve does not leak, as long as the screens are clean. When it's dirty and leaking, it's not coming out of the slits though.

El Barto,

That just happened...
My solid valve will leak from the slits if its cold and the valve isn't working smoothly. That happens to me since I keep mine in the garage and it's winter. After the first bag it warms up and no longer leaks.

Mae sure to check my post on the last page, it discusses this. Getting the new solid valve housing fixed the leaking issue I was having.

It was definitely leaking from a defective housing, not dirty screens or anything like that. And definitely not leaking from where the bag connects.

Hello. I just joined this website today. I also got my volcano in the mail today. I ordered the solid valve but they sent me the easy.. anyways I was just wondering how many fills will a bag go for until it gets (gross) or way harsh. I've heard people say 50-100 is that accurate? I know the answer is somewhere on this website already so sorry for asking. And just a question for the people who use their cano allllll the time with a easy valve, how long does your 5 bags last before you have to order more

I replace them with oven bags

The stock bags can last a really long time. It all comes down to how dirty a bag can you tolerate. Like hoptimum says oven bags make perfect replacements. It's pretty easy to change them out. I am on my original set of valves after four years.

so instead of throwing away the easy valve parts I would keep them and just swap the bags?
