Elmoe420 had the same problem with a kiss cart that hadn't even been used before, they unscrewed the top (for the first time) and the cup pulled out with the top, completely ruining the cart.
That is a serious problem that needs to be fixed asap!

If theirs pulled out so easily, without ever loading anything into it mind you, then you can't blame any of them on user error(it's a faulty design if it happens before oil has ever been loaded). It needs to be designed in a way which prevents this from happening in the future.

I'm not trying to start anything here, I love your products/innovation. However, you can't sit there and just say "looks like user error" when there is a report of it happening before it had been used.

To be fair the other users experiencing this I believe did say they had oil residue build-up in the mouth piece causing stickiness. Also I recently ordered a big batch of Ti Kiss carts from w9tech.com (2 purple 3.7v for my girlfriend's Omicron, 2 black 3.7v for my Omicron Lite, and 2 silver 7.4v for the Okeanos). None of them have had this issue so far. I'll report back if I have any issues but I'm still personally viewing this as a one off shit happens situation. I will use it as a good excuse to have my second go at rebuilding a Kiss cart. My overall experience with w9tech.com continues to be a positive one.

One thing I think is easy to forget is that all of these LAYG wire coil based carts seem to have a very finite lifespan. I saw this with my original G-Pen EO tank too. Those wires get brittle and most of my Kiss carts end up with a break in the wire sooner or later. It seems like if you are going to stick with these wire coil carts then becoming proficient at rebuilding them is a must.

This is what makes the Hercules such an amazing cart. It is so sturdy and has so little that can break. I recommend anyone frustrated with the lifespan of the Kiss carts to read up and take the plunge on the Herc. It can take a bit to learn how to operate but you won't regret it.

Believe me KK I'm watching @elmoe420 's situation, for something like that we do take care of customers and replace the carts if they are within 24 hours of receipt, but at the same time there are over 50k+ kiss carts out there hand full of issues like this at most that the kiss cart came apart when brand new, this is why it's not a huge issue that gets our full attention.


Now when you say we need to make it better please understand that we always strive to make the best cartridge in its class. The Kiss Alpha C addresses this situation exactly, even if it's not a major issue we still strive to solve it.

Please give us some time and I promise when you see the Kiss Alpha C you will affirm your faith in our innovation and my dedication to customer driven business model.

Does anyone have recommendations for a stellar e-juice cart for the Persei?

So far I have tried the MT4 Ti but honestly I'm not super happy with the flavor. The first hit of a session always taste amazing but then the more I hit it the more it starts to taste a little burnt and funky.

What are other people using? There aren't a ton of options on w9tech.com for juice. FYI I'm vaping 0% nicotine 100% VG juice from Velvet Vape. Currently running the MT4 on the core @ 3.7v.

How long have you used the cartridge and how fast are you hitting it? Want to know how much time you allow between hits, and how long your holding the button down?

So far the MT4 hasn't seen a ton of use. I am not a big e-juice guy. I have run maybe 2.5 ml through it.

Running 3.7v off the core. I usually do about 5 sec on 2 sec off until lungs are full. Take about 3 good lung fulls then sit for a few min typically before repeating.

does yours have a problem where your top will only blink if the cart is screwed on snugly? mine will only fire if its in a "sweet area" between snug and loose enough to sorta shake

100%vg juice is very very thick and will almost always have issues wicking properly in "tank" style ecigs. Try a thinner juice like 70vg/30pg max and it will probably flow a LOT better and you won't be getting dry hits. As far as ecigs on W9tech equip I was unsatisfied, it is not their area of expertise unfortunately... the 2nd line of my signature is what I use for my ecig stuff :p

I have not experienced this issue. The MT4 fits snug on my Persei. I do continue to face periodic blinky light issues running any cart off the core. I'm starting to think this is an issue with where the wire plugs in to the base of the Persei. Holding that wire firmly in before pushing the button seems to help.

Velvet Vape only sells 100% VG which is a big part of what drew me to their juice. I do not want to vape PG. I will try contacting them for tank recommendations for their juice. I know there is a whole other world out there for e-juice but I was hoping to avoid having to invest in a separate setup. I'm just not that into it.

I totally understand what you mean. I really like a particular juice that is 99% vg (longhorn vapors dark chocolate.... omg yum...) but the only way to really get the full potential out of a juice with that high vg content is to go to an RDA (rebuildable dripper atomizer) I hate to tell you. I have never had much success with anything else on full VG juice personally. There are certainly ways to enter the market of it cheaply, since you obviously aren't too concerned with it you can probably pick up suitable gear for your needs for 50-75 bucks... a cheap clone mech mod/clone rda of an appropriate quality are readily available, since you are into the persei already you have batteries and a charger already most likely.

if you don't want to vape above like 15watts you could just buy an RDA and the 601-510 adapter and probably be just fine to vape that on your persei, so a little savings there... :> I wish you luck in your pursuits sir, I had to find out the hard way what I wanted through trial and error and it took a long time... but now after a lot of money and time invested I found what I want lol...

ultimately oil vaping and ejuice vaping are two entirely seperate realms and it seems the technologies, at least at the time, are somewhat incompatible.

I'm havin the most blinking lights with the SS tube at 3.7 ... This makes that useless

Submit a ticket and well guide you the rest of the way, also make sure if CS team asks you to ship back your top to upgrade to the touch button top then ship back your SS shorty tube as well.

alright alright alright.... I got a 7.4 kiss cart finally. Hopefully usps doesnt try to deliver it 2 cities away this time. Recommended load size? Am I looking to get 3-5 rips off each load, or is it gonna be 1 load per rip?

before my 7.4 shorted out and before my 3.7 bottom decided to rip out i was loading about .3 i'd say? worked perfectly for me w. no leaks or issues and definitely got a good amount of hits of each load.

my experience might differ from yours though.. im using shatter thats completely stable at room temp and solidifies back really quickly. I assume that helped w. leaks and the amount of hits i got

I got my nibbler xl yesterday and so far i love it but was wondering, Whats the best way to empty it? I got a little bit of water on the herc as i pulled it out tonight and would like to avoid that in the future.

To avoid water in the SR, plug the mouthpiece with your finger as you pull off the nibbler. To empty it I simply turn it upside down.

Somebody here once recommended to me to roll the Herc over so "UP" points down, then tilt it horizontally so that the air hole is uncovered, this breaks the vacuum and prevents water from being sucked in while you twist and pull the Hercules out.

This is a terrible explanation compared to the great one that i was given, apologies.

So I have been experimenting with the SR-71 and straight loose leaf herb. The testing phase is early so I will post more results later this week. However my initial results are quite encouraging.

I have removed both of my TI coils so it's just bare ceramic rod in the upper chamber. A very fine grind is required and as mentioned in other results adding a bit of oil to the mixture will GREATLY increase the efficiency of this process (however even straight dry leaf I have been able to successfully "vape"). As I'm using the SR-71 very fine control of the heating is required, as it's easy to get too hot and combust. It is also helping a good deal to leave the outer sleeve off as frequent "stirring" is required (after every hit or two) Got it on my core set to 6.4volts to help prevent combustion, and to heat the load evenly. You have to slowly work the whole chamber up in heat, then 5-7 second hits with equivalent cooldown hitting (as the rod is staying quite hot and continuing to vape) If you are getting hotter and hotter hits after you let off the button you are combusting, slow it down. Hope this helps anyone with a curiosty such as myself. Good luck and I'll let you know the refinement of my process later this week!
