Truly universal is an extremely bold claim for a battery portable. I can only hope they get as close to succeeding with that as humanely possible.

I'd also like to point out this juicy tidbit:

I am very interested to see how the final product would be..
To me Namaste Guru project is somewhat very special, novelty, and innovative product.
Not like Atmos's :shit: numerous rebranded vaporizers, by Chinese Smiss Technology, and even Cloud enterprise's :shit: new Phantom vaporizers which are actually rebrand of the Chinese Imag vaporizers. Even these reputable manufacturer rather choose Chinese rebrand in order to reduce any kind of risks and R&D costs. However surprisingly the Namaste, who are actually not even vaporizer manufacturer, but only distributor, start whole new business. I think many manufacturers should feel shame.. :goon: and I personally think people should encourage more vaporizers to be available in the market.:science:
Even though the Guru end up not to be the perfect vaporizer in future (It would hardly not happen) I will still think they made right decision for the 2015 market and I still support Namaste!

Really? They need to give you an adapter for the "custom" water tool? They couldn't have, I don't know, made it to fit, maybe?

Okay, I only commented because I am heartily sick - chest cold. Dear lordz. But, I love a good technical breakdown of up&coming toys.

Can I ask why you support namaste? Good buying experience? What? Because where I'm from they have a god awful reputation for selling shit and counterfeit goods. Not to mention some very unsavoury business practice's. I hope they pump loads of their own money into this and then fail. Sorry but that's just my 2bob worth.

Hi thought exactly like you some months ago but they improve their selection and now they get one of the better selection in Europe, I bought them my Haze recently, ordered monday, I received it friday, my only complain was they didn't provide me tracking number enough soon (I got it after the package was at home)

Why do I support Namaste?
Well I not only support Namaste, but also do many other manufactuerers who are willing to support their customers needs and wants even after the purchase rather than seek to gain more money out of each customer's for after-sales. There are many good companies like Magic Flight, Indica, and Haze Tech. The only difference is they are manufactueres and Namste is distributor, but who has distribution chanel all over the world. The biggest reason why I use Namaste? I bought almost half of my vapes from Namaste and I never received any fake products at all and for the case of Pax and Firefly, they (ploom and Firefly) confirmed me the product were genuiene and told me that the Namaste is authorised distributor, however they didn't provide shipping service outside the US so avoided my replacement service unless I use mail forward system, but Namaste handled my 2 combusting Firflys, and replaced to new unit without any hesitate or even asking single question and recently I exchanged to Mighty and just gave up on firefly.:bang:
Well, if you still not pursuaded with Namaste try look for who offers the lowest price on the net with offering good customer service and replacement system.
The answer is given!

fair dos......
Sorry but I don't understood you.....

I don't know about their practices, but did you look at their actual website? I think they are alone in Europe to offer 7thFloor vapes, as well the Pax, Zephyr Ion, Haze and I think I forgot others items.

But I agree with you their old website was only knock-offs and chineses shit, I wrote them about the reason they got to sell this shit and I wrote them again when I see they improved a lot their offers!

I only get one customer experience with them....maybe I'll change my mind if something bad will come for a next purchase (not planned although!)

I bought my solo through NamasteVapes and was a good experience. This product looks interesting but IMO looks to big. Not very stealthy ... looks like an overweight Pax

Hi Everyone, I'm Nathan, I'm actually really excited to see how the guys have gone with this offering. I know they've been spending a lot of their own time and money on researching and developing this vape, and that the crowd funding option is one they've opened up just to help them get the project over the line. If you guys have any feedback on the vape, I'd be more than happy to pass that along for you.

In the interest of transparency, I want to come out and say that I'm a partner with them on their Australian operation. That's actually a pretty recent thing. I started off as a customer, and last december through emails for a warranty claim on a Vape, we got to talking and decided to do some business together.

I have really enjoyed the way they do business. I see them bend over backwards to make sure their customers are 100% happy on a daily basis, which is the bottom line in any business IMO.

I can't speak to their past offerings etc, but my entire experience with them has been professional and fun.

any questions or comments, let me know. I'll check in periodically (I've still got a day job, so bear with me.)

Hello,

I wanted to add to the buzz here in this small thread. I hope to see this particular thread and the talk about the NamasteVapes Guru vaporizer grow. Some of you may also be somewhat familiar with the mention of the name NamastaVapes previously from other forums here on FC. Don't knock em till you try em! Or, at least get all sides of the stories. Objectivity is important. ;)

I think it would be a great opportunity for any of you to make your own decision about NamasteVapes by trying them out for yourself. I will tell you this, if something is not correct Kory will do everything to make it right by you. :)

My very first order with NamasteVapes was not correct. Not the end of the world. In the end it took 2 days longer, I ended up with what I wanted and some free goods thus becoming a customer for life. They have become so large so fast, I kind of expected some growing pains to pop up now and again. So, all in all no big deal.

I am very excited to see the Guru come to light. I was able to talk with one of the owners on the phone and by e-mail at length and was able to have all of my questions answered in detail. This is super great because it is not often one gets a chance to chat with a owner and with a company known mostly as a distributor cracking off and making a vaporizer of their own as well. Stoked!

I commend NamasteVapes for looking at other ways of becoming more self sufficient and for aspiring to bring to market a quality high end portable vaporizer.

One thing I was able to learn right off is that the Guru will be built/assembled in the USA with almost completely USA built/manufactured parts/pieces as well. This is great because the United States can use all of the in house help it can get.:o Only a few parts like circuit board components/chip-sets will be outsourced.

Another thing that caught my attention about the Guru were the things that Kory and NamasteVapes wanted the Guru to take care of on a daily basis, day in and day out with attention to quality and performance. I will go over those details in the coming paragraphs.

I am very conscious of my lifestyle and I like to make the most out of it while keeping it as clean and healthy as I possibly can. That being said, the Guru will have an all glass/ceramic AP. All great in my book for health, taste and the like.

They want the Guru to have accurate temperature controls, excellent flavor while maintaining purity and battery life. :ko: On temperature control the ceramic heater has a temperature sensor ceramic welded to the heater itself which provides direct feedback to the controller. The controller uses pulse-width modulated power signals to heat the chamber with high frequency pulsing to reach target temperature and then pulses power to the chamber to maintain it. This ensures super accurate temperature controls and efficient battery use.

The Guru will not have removable batteries but will feature 3000MAh batteries that will allow 4 hours of use. Not to bad for a single charge. The whole unit will be covered by a warranty, batteries and all. So no worries on certain things not being covered if things happen to go bad.
I'm not sure yet on how long the warranty will be but I will let everyone know as soon as I find out more information. Heat up time is to be extremely fast too, we will have to wait and see however as I have not been told the numbers yet.

Another great thing about the Guru to me is that it will be able to do everything, concentrates, herbs, wax, oil and even e-liquids. Just like the Haze which is another super great portable by the way!

However the way the Guru vaporizes the e-liquids is truly stand alone on the Guru's already herbal friendly platform.
When someone adds the e-cig adapter with an atomizer the temperature sensor is short circuited internally. So now the base unit recognizes the presence of the atomizer and the display changes to adjust the atomizer voltage instead of the temperature on the ceramic bowl. The Guru is planned to work with many atomizer styles. It will have variable voltage options up to 8 volts. This will allow it to work with the liquid/wax tanks too!

I like to think of the Guru first off as a high end portable vaporizer that if need be can utilize almost any e-cig attachment. :brow: I know some of us may never use the e-cig adapter but if anything the Guru sure looks to be unique and should do a super job as well. I look forward to giving this portable a try for sure. :D

Thanks for reading and cheers all!

Ive been emailing with kory back and forth and from our chats I am happy to say that I am very excited for the production of the unit. Out of every 3 in 1 portable I believe this has the potential to be the best. The heat up time will be about 30 seconds with the capability of heating up to 485 degrees f. It will have a ceramic bowl With a glass airpath.

I personally can't wait for this to come out. Been a customer of theirs for sometime now and had nothing but great experiences. I first got a DV ascent and did have an issue with the unit a few months in but they handled the warranty for me and got a new one asap to the UK. It is still running smoothly over a year on. I also got my crafty and SSV from Namaste and have had nothing but great customer service.

Also got a great deal on the flavour oil kit for my SSV, I will be back here with a detailed review of the Guru once it's out.

I am planning to buy my first vape in a couple of months as a birthday present for myself. I stumbled upon this one today and it seems pretty damn cool. I'm only going to use herbs and want a kind of semi-rugged and easy to use portable that I can take with me where ever I go.

Ease of use is something I want so that I can take some tokes while sitting on the ski lift and the ruggedness is wanted for it to be able to withstand my active lifestyle.

So far I'm thinking about either a Summit, Grasshopper, Haze v3 or this. What do you guys reckon, will this vape suit my needs?
