So for years I've taken it as fact that buds have the highest THC content during the earliest weeks of budding, as a sort of survival mechanism to keep animals from eating younger plants. I could have sworn I read it in a book or magazine a few years ago but I can't seem to find anything regarding it on google.
So my question is: has anyone else ever tried harvesting super early and freezing the flower for extraction? I'm just thinking that if levels really are higher during early bud, even though you'll lose a lot of weight, then the resulting concentrate will be that much nicer because of you're lower bud to THC ration. But at the same time I worry about the taste as the plant won't have matured its terps at that point.
Amy one got some feedback or ideas?
