Come Now (To Celebrate Your Wood)

I offer a thread to celebrate the place where wood and vaporizing meet. We all think our wood is the prettiest, so here's a chance to prove it to everyone... everyone who checks The Vapor Lounge, anyway.

Eterras, Zaps, PDs, HIs, TTs, UDs, Nanos, MFLBs, DIYs, and all the others. They're all welcome here. I want to see the wide varieties of woods that have been used and how they're holding up.

But don't forget, I want to eyeball your pollen boxes and grinders and stems and WonGs too... If it has anything to do with vaporizing, and it's made of wood, I want to see it. Hell, even if it doesn't have to do with vaporizing, let's get a taste...

FINISHED PRODUCTS ONLY (unless it's really really good shit!)

AESTHETIC APPRECIATION ONLY (unless it's really really interesting! :ko:)

I'll get things started:

My face is melting...
Usually I find myself reaching for my woodie on Sat. and Sun. mornings when I don't have to go in and take it from the man. But often I handle it in the evening on weekdays as a way of relaxing after a stressful day.

Lately it's been the walnut Daisy. For a while it was the maple Lotus and before that it was the pear wood Vapman. And even before that it was a maple Vapor Genie which replaced a couinterfeit mysterywood Magic Flight Launch Box.

I love my wood, do you love your's?

I go where the thrills are
I don't have any vape-related wood, yet, but I do have a wood obsession at my house, one that I've been indulging for years. (Since EDA started this thread I don't think he'll mind my tangent.)

Here's my latest custom-built Carvin...the top is black limba (got lucky with this piece, it's gorgeous), the body is swamp ash, the fretboard is zebrawood, and the neck is maple. You can see how the "neck-through" construction runs the maple neck all the way down, enhancing the elusive "coupling" of the woods.

It is definitely the most sublime combination of wood and wire my untalented fingers have ever caressed.

Ok. Here are a few of my favorite "pieces of wood". First, my two-tone Amboyna burl e-nano.

Then there is my torched Vapman.

And finally, my Wooden stash box with a duck picture on the front. My wife bought it for me about 13yrs. ago when we had just gotten married so it looks a little beat up.
