Update on my situation...I stand by that my LB is calibrated high but I have learned how to adjust to not combust. Draw immediately and quickly and not to hold the battery down for more then 5 seconds. I will keep it as a portable Vape for myself as I have purchased an Airizer Q desktop for my Mom based on ease of use. Thanks for the feedback.

As others have suggested, it runs hot when brand new. It'll cool off once it's broken in.

Which is true of many things.

I had what seemed to be "charred tips" on my ABV at first with the LB. But I can now identify 4 factors for that result.

1, Herb not ground fine enough
2. Herb not cured enough (too damp)
3. Poor technique
4. I masturbate too much.

I cannot remedy #4, if I even wanted too, so I decided to abstain from 1 & 2, and work on perfecting #3.

Buying prerolled joints helped a lot. Slit them open and vape the entrails.

On Saturday my replacement mflb is coming. By then I'll have all vapes I plan on getting until the next generation of pinnacle pros come out.
I look forward to perfecting my one hitter method, which is how I manged to fit this vape into my arsenal perfectly

Well, I'm not quitting my day job..... but I'm certain im set on vapes for awhile.
After the MFLB arrives my collection is as follows:

Arizer Air
Extreme q
Pinnacle Pro DLX
TITAN II (with a backup one too from dhgate, great for trips)
Da Buddah (trusty machine has lasted years)
MFLB

What more could a vape enthusiast ask for?

mid trench, I take my MF brush and and sweep the bottom of the screen and make sure nothing it stuck to it and also try to break up any herb that is trying to stick together.

hope that makes sense, it is especially important if you're herb isn't very dry.
ymmv.

I do this too but I stir and break up the clots every hit using my index finger and then lightly tamp the herb down before the next hit to have the most herbal surface area in contact with the screen as possible. It might seem like a lot of work to do every hit but I've got a quick little technique down and at this point it's second nature when I've got the box in hand plus it helps deliver big rips while tearing through a trench in 3 or 4 hits.

technique makes a huge difference.
its what separates the n00bs from the experienced vapers.

welcome to my world!

technique makes a huge difference.

Well put. Even more so with 'open loop' vapes like this where the user is such a major factor (unlike say Solo). In such cases I might go a bit further and say 'technique is critical to getting good performance'. Poor technique will leave you at the side of the highway wondering why.

With most (all?) vapes some experimenting with technique is needed to get best results, with MFLB I think it's mandatory. Reading someone else's description and trying to duplicate it won't feed the bulldog here.
