Curious about "CoolVape" and "regenerative cooling" technologies...

Also at 50W peak it beats the S&B Mighty, with wood, glass, silver, steel...and no plastic!

They say "batteries" plural + replaceable too.

All of this with sustainable wood? Pinch me I must be dreaming!

Yeah, I'm not sure if I follow: "Regenerative cooling is utilized to remove excess heat from the device extending battery life"
How would removing heat from a vaporizer (essentially a mini heater) extend the life?
Additionally, IMO a vaporizer probably shouldn't be creating "excess heat", doesn't sound very efficient

Do you know of any vaporizer that doesn't create ANY excess heat? Some create this more than others, but I would think that there would always be some heat that is generated that is not 100% totally utilized in the vaporization process.

Hell, for that matter, I don't know of anything that doesn't create excess heat.

The green glass is a nice touch.

But what is this convection technology that instantaneously comes to temperature once the fire button is pressed?

Do tell.

My FlashVape, which works on the same batteries that this vape does, reaches vape temps within 5 seconds. That's just about instantaneous, eh?

The Elevape is instantaneous as well and the Firefly reaches 400F in 10 seconds.

All of the above are convection based (the FV with their S2 adapter).

wood attachments would just mean they get more gunky and dirty quicker IMO. Glass is much easier to clean

Have been using a Vapor Genie(Wood) for over a year A LOT and barely need to clean it, I never actually had to clean it now that I really think about it.

Glass is much easier to break, rather have hard to clean over easy to break, this is a portable, I think durability wins.

A choice would be neat.

I agree choice would be best, I would prefer a glass set. Im usually pretty good with taking care of glass, but a more durable wood choice would be really nice as well.

If only there was an FC member who made wooden stems and mouthpieces and vape accessories....maybe someday

I like that they will offer wood stain color choices and glass color choices for the Zion. This is a very interesting vape, I wonder what the price will be? It is interesting to note it uses more power than the crafty as someone else here noted, but not sure that means much until we see how they employ that power.

Are we really getting a new portable announced every 14 days or so? It seems insane, but I love it. Such an influx in innovation.
