Co2 oil questions - health? Dab? Pen?

I am going to pick up sme CO2 oil that comes in a syringe, and also some CO2 shatter. I bought some CO2 oil before and didn't have a good experience, it became very messy and I wasted a lot. I am hoping this time around is different.

I have a omicron lite with Ti-Kiss cartridge, will that work for both the syringe oil and shatter? I know CO2 oil from syringes can sometimes be runny, and wasn't sure if there are better cartridges to be using. I am also open to hearing better pen/cartridge setups that would work best for CO2.

Can you dab the CO2 oil from a syringe off of a rig/torch setup?

Another question, is it true that CO2 oil is going to have less solvents than BHO? I am try into get inhale the cleanest concentrates, and not worry about unneccary waxes and crap coating my alveoli in my lungs.

CO2 does not use a "solvent" per se. Under the right temperature and pressure conditions, CO2 will form a supercritical fluid and force the trichomes from the plant. The CO2 then evaporates, leaving the extract in its oily form. Even if there was residual CO2, there is no health concern, as CO2 is something you breathe in everyday.

You can dab it just fine on a rig. In my experience though, it doesn't taste very good. However after skimming this article it sounds like the producer has a lot of control over flavor.

Thanks! That was an article I came across too, sounds like good stuff!

When you dab it, to make it easier and not so runny, can you freeze it and break off dabs like shatter? Or is to always hard/messy to deal with?

Besides dabbing, what are good ways to use CO2 oil? I notice it is often offered in syringes, however in that article it looks like they sell it as wax/shatter.

Yeah I want to try some of those EVOlab CO2 oils. They look way better than the CO2 oil I've had in the past; although from the pictures on their website, it doesn't look like shatter is available.

Freezer trick may work. If it comes in a syringe though, it might be easier to just squeeze some on the dabber.

Is it tough to dab if the oil is really runny? Seems like it would be hard to get the oil on the nail without missing or making a mess

If you can get it on a dabber, you'll be able to dab it. Just hold the dabber on the nail for a couple seconds and the heat will make the oil quickly melt off.
