Am I sacrificing quality vapor?

First the flavor, then the buZzz settles in....
If say for instance I leave my plug-in vaporizer on the last setting that I vaped with and the flowers in the chamber, for an entire extended session?

Forgive me if its been posted before, but I did not find it in a search. Last few vaping sessions I have decided to leave my unit plugged in and the whole set up ready to go, for at least an hours span. (Which is a box styled vape with whip and bubbler attachment) So I can casually walk back and just take a toke or two. Then go about my business in the house.

I have read of people doing this before. Though the times I have gotten back, to take tokes, after the first intial ones, it still pulls good vapor clouds but the taste and the smell leads me to believe the material spent before time and it doesnt seem like it gets me any higher. Where if I vape in one short session one toke after the other, I dont get the smell and taste issue until I know for sure Ive cashed it. I know I know, some of you may say, "well why not turn the temp down, or disconnect the whip and connect it when youre ready again", but I wanted to extend my toking sessions, without consuming more herb, plus when Im relaxing hard, last I want to do is keep repeating the same things over and over again.

Also, I wanted to know if its a fact indeed, or its all in my head.

It really depends on the vaporizer. With my LSV, there is absolutely no heat being applied to my herb until I hit it so I probably wouldn't experience what you are experiencing.

But if your vaporizer is constantly applying heat to your herbs, than no, it's not in your head.

I didnt think of that. I have the vaporbrothers hands free boxstyle vape. If its left on, I would guess the heat would have to go somewhere and since it rises, it would probably go right in the herb. Though I was confused, because I was still getting vapor clouds. Taste and smell apart I thought it would at least still contain the high goodies.

All you have to do is remove the wand between hits, I have a friend who leaves his vaporbrothers on from the time he wakes until he turns in. He only uses the standard mini wand(you can do the same with the"hands free wand") to pull off a couple hits every 45 minutes or so all day every day.

I leave my ev2 on for hours when I'm using it and just remove the bowl between hits to keep it tasting fresher by keeping it pure convection otherwise the heat rising through the load roasts a little on it's own (not enough to cash a load just enough to change the taste). Pretty simple to just pull the bowl off the vaporizer and set it aside when your not hitting it.

if you enjoy that style of vaping, you could think about getting a log vape.
my routine is exactly like that, I'm just relaxing and sometimes take a hit, sometimes 2-3 in a row but usually there's more time in between. that works very well with a log vape since it is so easy to disconnect the stem/bowl, and the vaporizer itself can be left on 24/7 if you want.
