This is what I received the original persei not the ti model but it came in the new models box, inside was the up tech 7.4v wax atomizer, two red batterys, charger, battery tool, 2.4 ohm silver cart that requires the fill tool, and no fill tool or dual top and it was supposed to include the outdated carts and dual top...idk how to post the picture from my phone
* I removed everything I had typed here before.

Upon further inspection of that link you posted earlier, it now appears to me as if it is completely unclear to the purchaser if they are buying the older persei (double top/old carts), or buying the new TI version (no double top/no 18560/new TI Kiss cart).
I can understand your frustration now.

I bought my first Persei from @VaporWarehouse and the listing was for the older model with double top. This was during the transition that phased out the double top. I contacted them and they hooked me up with the battery and some other goodies for the mix up. They are a class act.
The Double Top: I was SOL. I bought one from a former FC member. The only thing I ever used it for was experimenting with The Core and different voltages using the Herc. (No dead battery lockout). It is obsolete. IMO you should get something from them. I guess. That website's listing is very old. They are still calling it Delta9. They are W9Tech now. The double top will be a dead issue. They are not even supported by the manufacturer anymore( no warranty, no repair). Ask for something else. You should have added The Bender for $27.99(add-on to Persei purchase). It sells separately for nearly $200.

That's the way the site reads when you click the add on button, but I seriously doubt that deal.

I'd be more inclined to believe that that's for a bender replacement mouthpiece, and not a whole bender. Again, that's not the way the site reads though, but I doubt it's a legit deal.

lol.... replacement mouthpiece. I can totally see that, because how can they truly offer such a discounted price? It doesn't even make sense. I have serious doubts myself, but I'm pretty skeptical of online dealers in general.

I don't have a bender but there is no way I would try this so called deal from them... I have had enough bad experiences with online vendors to know that usually when something looks that good there is something wrong lol....

I'm still set on trying to vape herb out of my herc one of these waxless days lol

I am cleaning some old Ti-Kiss carts, and I forgot that the plastic mouthpiece isn't supposed to be submersed in ISO. I have had the plastic mouthpieces in ISO for a few hours, is that going to ruin the integrity of the plastic?

The owner of yourvaporizers.com is fixing this issue for me he has been great help it was actually ordered from his vendor and they now know that it was their fault on their end so it is being replaced with the original with double top as I asked for but I was wondering which persei is better for the Hercules Sr 74 because right now I have the old original with 2 Imr 18350 batterys if I can work something out with the owner I might switch to the new one with Hercules sr74

The Ti version persei is for sure better if you plan on using the SR74. Personally I would not care for a older persei kit. The hercules was not even out when the old persei versions were out. If I were you, I would keep the Ti version. Your persei top should read v3 or v4 if you have the silver color. The newer persei versions were specifically made to power the SR series cartridge.

@Jman5280 you should be ok. I always submerge the top kiss cart mouthpiece. Never had issues.

Well I actually have the old persei I don't think it's the ti because it says persei down the side not on the top

I've been getting a good amount of oil in the mouthpiece of my herc sr74x. I'm not using a screen, it's not overfilled, and I'm even getting a little oil on my teeth/ spit of hot oil on my tongue. What can this be? I'm going to clean it tomorrow, as I got a minor leak, which is cleared, but still a little messy. Otherwise I'm getting good flavor and pretty nice clouds.

I had that too. I have reduced my draw (inhale) to barely anything yet still get great clouds. Try reducing your draw technique. You may be inhaling so much that it pulls the material up and out the mouthpiece. That's what happened to me. I also now slightly prop up my herc while storing it horizontal so that it flows away from the mouthpiece very slightly. This also seems to work as I was getting lots of build up on the sides of the chamber and in the mouthpiece instead of covering the coils. Good Luck.

Yea, my black nut and screen for mouthpiece were covered with amber goodness. Like b1ut0 stated, I'm trying the "barely draw" method and I do get the same clouds. It's habits from my bong, during my combustion days, of snapping the bowl thru when I'm done.

Why does the W9 manual say not to submerse the plastic mouthpiece in ISO?

I have been doing this everytime I clean my TI-KISS carts, I submerse it over night in ISO.

Would this damage the plastics integrity, and when heated allow plastic leach into my vapor?

Use your judgement on the plastic mouth piece. I never had one "leach" into my vapor. They require extreme heat to start deforming. Kiss cart will never reach that heat during use. I believe the manual refers to old style mouth pieces. The new style can be soaked.

Thanks!

@THC SCIENTIFIC can you confirm that the new plastic mouthpieces can be soaked in ISO?

Any advice would help. I have the v3 top and have been using it with the sr-74x. It works well, but wonder if I should wait for v4 top (I don't think my top will fry, especially the way I baby it) or buy the hammer top. It seems ppl have a hard time articulating it, but they all agree to have a better experience with the hammer top.

Should I wait for v4 upgrade (since my v3 is working perfectly) or buy the hammer top? thanks

If your top is working fine don't do anything. It's not about it being hard to articulate. The v3 cap will just stop working at least for many and produce blinking lights when firing. When this happens there is nothing you can do. My experience was that it got worse and worse until it was almost impossible to fire with the herc. V4 cap fixed that. The hammer top is a click on click off. It's not meant for the herc but can be used in a pinch. Just wait for the v4 unless your v3 stops working then warranty it or replace it.

Will do. Appreciate the advice. I was looking at the hammer top on planetvape and it says it is not meant for the EO or herc cart. But others seem to have used it and got great results

Most containers for ISO are made from plastic. I can't imagine that would be the case if there was any real interaction between them.
There are hundreds if not thousands of different plastics. Some are vulnerable to ISO to the point of destruction, some can tolerate it in small doses, and some are unaffected. It is always a good idea to find out which type you are dealing with before using ISO.
