The XP did rightfully earn the title of "temperamental" for it's USB port failures as well as the heating element loosing connection.... and thankfully both of these issues have been address very successfully thus far with the INH05.....

Then there was the 12 hour charging debacle and that was back tracked to a fuse something that was added as an extra precautionary measure..... replacement fuse brought us right back to 6 hours

This recent thermal protection tripping business was something that was again lowered as an extra precautionary measure...with No real threat or issue so putting it back to it's original cutout is a none issue...so that has been addressed as well

Yes the "S" mod brings more power to the table 25watts whereas the XP and 05 are both 12w. I think you'll find them very close in comparison power wise.... you might find that you will want to change a few little things about the way in which you use it... but thats about it....

BTW.... Welcome... look forward to hearing about your first thoughts when you do get your new INH05...

I'm sure the 05 will suit me fine, my xp recently kicked the bucket and after giving up on getting it to charge for last couple weeks returned to it. Well, now it works again! Weird, eh? Unfortunately I already have a 05 on the way! Guess i can give them a fair comparison now when it arrives! My xp is very very dirty, I can't even see the screen at the bottom of the heating chamber. It's completly black with clumps of abv and resin. I was wondering.if these screens can be removed and cleaned like I read you can do with the inh05? I just don't want to rip into it if I shouldnt be

I trust you will be very happy that you ordered an 05 because you have just described the number one killer for the XP.... death by USB loosing connection.... so it would / will continue to get worse as you continue to use it....
Yes those screen do come out but I can only imagine that yours is going to be very difficult to just pluck out like normal.... you might want to try using ISO dampened Q-Tip but I would recommend that you hold the unit upside down while trying to take off some of that gunk build up.....
After you do get to where you can at least now see the entire screen.... go ahead an try a tooth pick...aim for dead center and push the G-Tip through the screen and then firmly apply side pressure while trying to lift it out.... if your having trouble using a tooth pick you try anything with a tiny hook on the end of it to hook the screen....
But really if it becomes to much of a pain in the ass..... I would just give it a good through cleaning...knocking off as much clumpy ABV... then have at it with the ISO... upside down remember....

I start EVERY session with my unit upside down.
Doing this will pull the herb deeper into the capsule, and glue it in place during the first 3-4 hits.
That will eliminate inner screen getting herbal matter on it.
ALSO...
when I clean the capsules, I put the little straw in my mouth and go completely around the capsules screen, as I inhale... sucking up any particles left behind (no.. I do not mind the taste).
When done, I do the same thing inside the unit..
...it will help you catch every particle during each cleaning so there is never anything built up.

I'm up for several options here, if that old one is unfixable I'd take one of the green light models as a replacement, case closed, and then I'd place an order for the extra stuff that I wanted, such as the water attachment piece extra batteries and the pick tool.

Option two I guess is that Ultimate package that included that stuff anyways, and the vape getting fixed and sent back.

Option one is prefercial to me, but I'll go with either, so let's do the green light one and I'll green light that for you, if not, I'll look forward to my ultimate package being delivered sometime in the next few weeks like Greg and I discussed on the phone back in November.

Any idea on a time frame for that?

I just got the new 4 inch glass capsule. I have noticed the draw is much cooler. I vape at 5 - 5.5 - 6. Taste seems to last a bit longer until ABV is done as apposed to almost done and it seems to vape more evenly. The taste is excellent and holds a bit longer IMO. I will do some more tests which are always enjoyable and post in a few days any other findings. Although I would not go out with the glass capsule in publ

I believe that you can remove the screens in all the inhalators. I now use the removal pick but for the XP and V2, I used a long pin with the end bent up slightly to grab the screen (and I broke one trying to bend it up) or if ordering anything from inhalator, its $7 and comes with screens. I replace my screens monthly.

IKR.... once I started using the glass I just could stop....I'll use the OG caps if I'm in a large gathering still. but the taste is better and the size of the load is less making it more attractive for personal use....

I too feel the taste sticks around longer.....as for the public thing....my glass tubes just so happens to fit very snugly inside the WTA with just a little over an inch sticking out...looks great and I was having issues with my glass caps coming out on me.... you know that pisses us off.... but the WTA snaps into the 05 so it is a pretty slick setup.... It is with me everywhere I go...
In today's world I don't even get a 2nd look.....

Everything else was fine, but the unit I paid for worked for 2 days and never worked - it was never dropped, or damaged, it never got returned, and I told you in my letter I had tonnes of time, but 2 months isn't exactly what I was expecting turnaround time for this being sorted out. I was looking at the green light model, and I whole heartedly agree you nailed it and was admittedly a bit jealous. If you send me that one it's also the only thing on your website that MATCHES closely what I paid you....

You should call Greg, I'm sure he will be able to help you out. I called about my tracking info being screwed up and he fixed it for me in 2 minutes!

Mines in mail other one was doing sumthing strange the other day When you plug it in it begins to heat up on off. Dam good pass threw charging took batt out in meantime

So picked the S up this evening! Also a wt adapter and some air caps. Let the good times roll, first thing in the am

...btw I managed to get my xp's heating chambers screen out and torched it clean. And cleaned the inner chamber with ISO on a Q-tip. Bam! My xp is looking brand spankin new and Ita milkin the mobius like a champ! Thanks for the help!

See, now you're just setting yourself up for disappointment.

When I get a new device I usually opt for the "Christ, I hope this thing works correctly!" There's almost nowhere to go but up.

It was fun - very 'mindful' which is what the pain clinics want me to work on anyways

Sp - the inaugral flight was great! A bit different than anticipated. I did an entire run at 3 with cloud. And it felt hot on the lips! The next run was at 4 - again cloud, and hot on the lips. Then 2 runs on auto, and lots of product left, and didn't feel quite that hot. So bumped to 6.5 for a couple of blasts - no hotter than anticipated, and still cloud. Great cloud for a portable! I just did a wee blast of oil and *that* was a cloud, so the INH wasn't much of a cloud compared to that, if you catch my drift...

Also, on this version, the label isn't cut for the LEDs, so they seem a lot dimmer with the white film overtop, but still easy to read, which my electrical tape mod wasn't so good at...

Loaded up another cap for dogwalkies - watch for a trip report later!

So I walked quite a ways with the pooch, on the watch for any of the cougars that have been reported in the area (4 legged, furry ones Then I remember that my pocket is loaded! Turn it on and it's stopped flashing - better see what it's like... hhhmmmmm, thats a nice flavour.... and another..., and so one... This 2nd round didn't seem as hot as the 1st round. Maybe a slightly looser pack? Will experiment.... will write it down and try to remember to experiment...
Then on to 4 and again lots of nice... unfortunately no idea on clouds as it was chilly and we were still looking for large kitties, but I'm a happy camper!

Hi All. The Professor ordered some glass capsules and they are set to arrive tomorrow - I will post an update after I've had a chance to run them through a bit.

I have some 18650 unprotected cells, and a couple of protected ones. I use the protected 18650s in an e-cigarette and the unprotected ones in the INH05 because I searched the thread and noted Inhalator recommends unprotected cells. Not my favorite choice, but ok. My question is this: can anyone recommend a solid Lith ion charger? Ideally a charger I can rely on, works with protected and unprotected, and can manage more than one mAhs. I have a charger, but it seems uneven in its charging, and doesn't like the unprotected cells.

Any advice would be much obliged.

Came in mail with 2 glass caps not hitting the thermal safty any more those glass caps are the cats a:&;$;/&/& lol. Holds that lil extra heat and no burt lips. One thing with the plastic one realy can replicate the rach burns from a fat J You culd vape all day like with the ascent. But get a wicked edit &:&:&. Medicated. off the inh vs my ascent

ingredients included:
1. one AERO CAP (I'm a fan before I've tried this)
2. one nice GRINDER (what an upgrade from a plastic model I use now)
3. purple rubber vapor cooling tip (INH 004 xp style and thanks)
4. New straw like tips for the smaller style tips on the new caps (and I've got 2 clear rubber ones left over so now I know why they they didn't fit back in September)
5. WOW the amazing bubbler wrapped in bubble wrap (nice bong)
6. alcohol pads, and small container of isopropyl acohol
7. screens and a pick tool for cleaning, along with detailed cleaning instructions and some q-tips)
8. one water attachment tool for use with the bubbler (fits nicely)
9. YET ANOTHER Inhalater plut (we can always use that)
10 the new SILVER model Inhalater 05
11. Cleaning straws (I use a micro screw driver if I can locate it again)

I think that's everything!

Obviously you guys messaged me, I just saw what was in my hotmail account, so I did sent a message back to the guys at Inhalater to Frederick, and just telling him, this nice model is in my hands, but my girlfriend will grab it so much, I'll have to call you back and reload, get the green light black model and try to make her jealous with that. So you'll be hearing from me

I'm also in the off season, saving for music gear, so I'll try the vape perhaps this weekend, but then pretty much wrapped up for couple of months, maybe back on here as I attempt to take the screen out of my 04 xp model and do some light maintenance.
You're telling me for sure that I'll enjoy all this, but I feel like an alien that just found it back into my space ship with my coffee table having 3 mic holders, each having one of your vapes, and a bubbler in the center with alcohol in a jar, next to water in a jar, and my awesome grinder.

I wanna thank everyone on fc in this thread and actually the former 004xp thread. Way back when in 2013 I decided to make a MUSIC related business purchase in addition to my amp and other gear. I looked at a lot of the same top rated vapes you all would be familiar with on here. I'm so glad after careful consideration that I got this this system, and I've stroked off the other designs from consideration.

If I get more black colored Inhalater vape, maybe the S model, well, I'd have 3 overall, 2 that have the water attachment, and overall about a little over a grand worth of Inhalater gear at my place!!!

No other company on the market offers a vape system that you can bong like this at home, take on the road with you easily and clean very easily.

So put me on your list INHALATER for one more of these. I'll be calling back for the black 'S' version, and I simply won't take NO for an answer, so I insist you keep making this awesome system.
