I remembered seeing something about donuts on the site, and your post inspired me to check out the video. It looks pretty different from the tank systems and from what I imagined based on searching 1701, but since it says it to hold more than typical KISS hopefully my previous comment isn't way off topic lol. Even after watching the video and reading the description I'm still a bit unsure as to what I was seeing or how it works, but I'm still excited for progress in the world of oil carts anyhow.

My Omicron arrived two days ago, got my first shatter ever last night, wow, this is awesome! No problems loading the KISS cart at all (thanks in part to this forum and users), this morning I'm still wrapping my head around how wonderful this is....so cool!

I got a purple one, being as that is one of my favorite colors, and it matches my pax quite nicely :)

I meant the kiss cart. Order the ones that have the dark ceramic center. They act like a sponge, does not overheat, and gives you the smoothest and tasty hits you can imagine. And I have tried a lot of pens

What are the recommended accessories for the Omnicron v2.5?
So far I have The Core and i'm using 1.4 Ohm cartridges.
Right now i'm thinking of buying the KISS globe and Nibbler G. Is there anything else I should get in addition or rather than that set up? Is the Nibbler worth it?

Sorry to be pedantic, but it's omicron - there's only one "n" and it's at the end...

So many people say omNicron and it bugs me...

I pretty much exclusively use my kiss globe when using my omicron.
I just got a TI heater for it and I'm loving it, so if say definitely make sure to get the Ti globe :)

And the Ti kiss carts work fine? I can't find the option for Minicron-Lite when buying the Ti-Kiss carts. It only gives the options for "Ophos" and "Omicron/Persei"

Yup, the categories are really more "ophos" and "every other w9 vape". Just make sure it's 3.7v and not 7.4v.

I have a question about the Omicron. If you have a 1.5ohm cartridge and its getting low, is it dangerous to take long 20-30 second hits(tapping the button over and over with no breaks)? I mean heating it to the point that the inside looks bright red and the cartridge becomes very hot. I'm getting decent vapor doing this, but I'm worried I could be inhaling vapor from coil/the parts inside.

Not sure if I mentioned this but the Kiss Alpha Centauri will go into production in 2 weeks. Stay tuned for more information like price and other things. The final version is not going to be what the price is listed on the site because of what the finished product is but I'm confident you guys are going to love it.

On the website it says all stainless steel and ceramic so none of that should vape. Mine get's pretty hot when I use it too, I think that helps the wax melt down the tube and into the coil.

Are you using an EO cartidge? You answered your own question if you can see the element bright red and the cart is too hot then you have used that cart in a manner its not remotely designed for. I used 2-3 second taps maximum on 1.5 ohm EO cartridges. 2 or 3 max per hit. Do what youre doing and you're sure to kill the cart.

I currently own the Persei and an Omicron Lite. The Persei is my home device, the OL for when I travel. However, I am looking for something in-between the two for "around the town", something more powerful than the OL but perhaps not as powerful as the Persei. Would the Omicron v2.whatever be a good solution or is it just to close in power to the OL, thus rendering it redundant?

My understanding is that the omicron does 3.7v like the others, but with user replaceable batteries. I think the omicron hvd top can do 7.4v like the persei, someone else would need to talk about that though. I've never used one and haven't seen it talked about much. At home or in your car you could use the core to dial in the voltage/power. I hate to bring it up since you can't buy it, but the iris top let's you change the voltage right on the top. Though I've never seen the first version for sale and the second version is in development I think.

Hmmmmm....sounds like I should just tote my Persei+Core around. I can't discern any advantage in picking up an Omicron (in stock config) at this point.

I have both Omicron v2.xx and Persei. IMO the Omicron is more stealth. It does 7.4v (HVD top) but only with the Core. There is NO battery option for the Omicron at 7.4v. That said I love my Omi. It is so pocket friendly. It can also be shut off (5 click off/on) unlike older Perseis. (V2 and earlier do not shut off.)

I am a little unclear on what exactly I need, I guess.

My main objectives for all of this are:
1)Have the ability to use an Omicron/SR-74 combo run off of the Core at home @ 7.4v
2)Have the ability to go mobile with the Omicron @ 3.7v

It looks to have everything I would need to hook up to The Core as well as go mobile. Or would I need this in addition to a Omicron v2.5 in order to hit the streets?
