Is there any interest in designing a FC ash catcher? I think an inverted turbine perk may create a cool tornado effect without excessive diffusion. Like this one with a turbine instead of a honeycomb.

I also think a proper recycling AC would be popular. Maybe an improvement on this design.

We could even design a Jhook to package with the AC and a keck clip.

I think the D020 was created by the Chinese as a knock off of a Mobius. They created the GB-187 with a MP coming out of the top, but the FC community liked the piece but wanted one with a sidecar instead. The FC-187 was the first piece that we (through great effor on the part of @blankrider) were able to get a Chinese vendor (Steven) to customize to our interests. There are now a few FC members working on customs with at least 2 Chinese vendors. This will likely grow to more vendors over time, but we are only at the beginning of this effort. There are already several pieces in the pipe.

I would like to get back on topic with the UFO bubbler. For those of you wanting to hook it up to a hose please post about this aspect. Do you want it to just come with a whip adapter like this?
You do not need barbs for silicone, it grips just fine on smooth glass. Barbed adapters can get stuck in silicone so bad that you'll be cutting it off just to clean.

We may be better off sourcing our whip and adapters ourselves to get exactly what we want. There are plenty of options for glass adapters (online and local) and I also agree Silicone tubing should be US sourced.

My preference is to have a removable mouthpiece long enough to keep my vape out of my face. I like #'s 03, 05, and 07. If we get more than one included, you should include the 03 for the weird ones like me.

Seems like we're getting a bit far down the silicone path....

Quickly though.... silicone will stick to barbed and smooth glass (barbed a bit worse). Some heat - like from near the business end of your vape depending on what you're using - will usually loosen it enough to get a twist or two on it, and it is usually pretty easy to get off once you break the seal. If vape doesn't throw enough ambient heat, a hair dryer has never failed me.

For more info about silicone whips, check out this great thread - Whip Tubing - All Your Questions Answered! It's an oldy, but a goody.

For me silicone will hopefully remain a thing of the past. Not worth the distance it creates or the cool mad scientist look of it IMO. Since putting my EQ up on the shelf, I've only considered vapes that don't require a silicone whip. Many still like it, but I'm sticking with vapor>glass>lips as much as possible!

@blankrider Are you still imagining the UFO to be the same dimensions as the 187? I was just looking over this thread and it seems that's what was last settled on...

I'd personally vote to make it a bit wider and/or shorter. I'd personally like to see a piece with as low of a center of gravity as possible. I'd like to be able to set it down in my lap or on my couch, and I also don't want to have to worry about it falling over if the whip is accidentally snagged or pulled on slightly. Especially with a whip, I'd imagine that stability would be a critical factor.

The Herbilzer uses a silicone whip, I wouldn't consider it a thing of the past, :D

This ^. I don't believe we need them to provide us with tubing, but a default glass MP would be nice. Maybe the vendor should start carrying the adapter and some silicone hose as an option.

Should have been clearer.... a thing of the past for me. Know many still loving the silicone. A necessity with some great vapes I still enjoy using (DBV/SSV in particular), but I'm glad to be done with it. Still dying to try the Herbalizer, too.

@blankrider can you ask steven to add the ring above the pillars to the mini pillar as well as the big one? if you look at the pictures of it on the first post it's just straight pillars to chamber

The ring apparently helps to pool the water and create better water flow (bubbles go up and down like in genuine rig)

It is an exciting morning guys. I have new prototypes to unveil.

Here is prototype 2 of the ms mini style rig.

Looking great brother!!! I can't wait to get these and get into more fight with my girl haha. Anyway what kinda perc is in the ms mini style rig? And is that swing China boro or Quartz? I'm assuming China boro. How difficult would it be to switch it with a Quartz swing? I'm unfamiliar with this type of piece. Thanks in advance.

The swing on the mini will be quartz. Steven is communicating with the quartz factory trying to see if they can get a smaller order than 500 which is the minimum. I told him that honey buckets use the same swing and if he makes both he can move all 500 swings.

The perc is kind of a showerhead with slits on the bottom edges. I gave him this picture when I suggested it

Thanks! Now that I read that about the swings I do remember that info being posted before. That perc looks cool too. Is it going to have a female joint 14/18? Or just sized for the swing?

Did we ever get a water test for this perc though? Id still like to see how it functions before I decide on buying it.
Also would it come with the cap as well?

So the difference between the two large pillars will be the bottom perc solely (matrix v sov ball)? Or is there another factor im missing out from the larger pillars being developed. I kind of would lean towards the sov ball in that case as it is more tried and true to the piece, not sure how others feel. Still most likely hopping on the mini pillar bandwagon though as I dab and find that the space taken up by the larger isn't worth the diffusion for vaping, that much diffusion should be more than enough in the mini imo for my use

Since when has there been a large peyote pillar?

I thought it was mini - peyote
Large - matrix

Oh my bad if so. I thought that blankrider was working on 2 sizes for the pillars, and everythinghazy was working on a larger one.
Yeah from my understanding the mini pillar is done and is in production.

Now what I don't know for sure is if there will be 2 different large pillars or just one. I am assuming just one but im not sure. Hopefully @blankrider can tell us what's going on with that :)
