Tornado percs are not great at creating a tornado effect with vaporizers - they require a stronger pull to give it a twisting motion. It's been said before that those style percs are best used as splashguards in addition to a better perc.

If you're dabbing, it might be fine, but I don't really see the value of those percs. If you want a vortexing water action, might want to look at a recycler instead

Ok thanks, I bought an inverted turbine perc from Kathy's ali page a while ago and it works great with flowers, but is too big for vapes/dabs. It requires a strong initial pull, but then is smooth sailing once the water is pulled above the perc. This one is much smaller and I think could work good for vapes/dabs. I wanna see a function video before I pull the trigger tho.

My dabbacinno from Steven has been stuck at the Chinese border for over a week now. I'm pretty sure it has nothing to do with Steven though. It seems customs has seized the delivery truck :(

Mine didn't update through US customs then all of a sudden boom it's updated to my hometown. Will be delivered tomorrow. Still no other updates just China Customs and my hometown.

That's awesome to know it can legitimately join the others in the rotation. Thanks!!! Might be great one for when I do higher temperatures with the E-Nano hash/kief.

Also, when it comes to tracking, I suggest just ignoring everything until your package is actually through customs and is in the hands of your country's domestic postal service. Any tracking data before then is as likely as not to be unreliable. I set up an automatic email aleart with USPS and forget about tracking until I see that it has left my home country's port of entry and is heading toward my home town.

I just want to throw out my obligatory "fuck CCG" sentiment...

I don't know about you guys in the US, but CCG is now charging approx 50% of the item price for shipping to Australia for most items...

If anyone is interested in one of these, I found another seller (I'm suspecting it's just a sock-puppet account for CCG, but :shrug:)

If you guys had to choose one China piece, for vaporizing with my minivap and nano, what would it be? Someone suggested d020 or fc187. It seems there is a version 2 of the fc187. And the d020 has different siblings like the d020-d(???) I want this to be my go-to piece for everything. Any insight will be greatly appreciated.

For flowers get a D020 or D020-W, for concentrates get the FC710.

Good to know. I never got an email from dh gate about it, but my FC710 also has been marked as shipped with a tracking number,but without an update yet.

I use concentrates exclusively and have a D020 being delivered today, so I can test that functionality for you soon! That being said, I will be ordering an fc710 as soon as some members get theirs in and confirm their bliss.

Got my Kathy double vortex and it's awesome! Would make a few minor adjustments like previous members have said, such as a longer joint tube and a straighter joint. Like @jambandphan03 said it functions better in the hand. A mirror and some BC or NACE and your in for a treat. Mine vortexes quite well, however it doesn't have the long drain like my EFS or the new CCG piece @GSH vids have blessed us with...

Special thanks to Jam and FMac for the review and GAS relief! Today my AA, Dubbaccino, and Alina worked piece w/ drop down & quartz domeless should arrive... Oh happy days!

I got the a Kathy Ski-mask knockoff recycler. Looks nice well made. I even asked them again to substitute a dish for the dome/nail &/or bowl. They did. BUT, the piece has several cracks in the vortex chamber(doesn't really vortex very well). No leaks but definately eventually fatal cracks.

My Kathy dabuccino came in last week, finally got come concentrate today :tup:. Very nicely crafted, 4 hole diffy (in the shape of a showerhead) closed off. Rips great. Only complaint is there's almost an inch of excess downstem before the joint, if it came right off the top of the lid it would be perfect.

I just got mine in 18mm from Stevenlmz79 and it looks just like most of the pics with the slime green straw and downstem. Not the best sandblasting on my piece but nothing to complain about for under $30. The perc is much better through Kathy, mine is a 4 slit/hole diffuser with a pinched end looking like a fat plus symbol (+). Chug isn't too bad but I bet yours purrs! The dome was not ground which is refreshing. Also the Shatter, Wax, and Crumble boxes and side markers make a nice addition. Overall pretty happy with the piece as well as the seller. Great packaging and since he is working with our community, I will order again soon!
