please forgive me for not directly answering and hope you understand where i'm coming from here... since there are so many variables that come into play that most definitely affect each persons delivery time...i'm a bit uncomfortable to answer your question... BUT..what i will say is i got it MUCH MUCH sooner than anticipated!

Alright well thats fine, just a bit of info Im in california and it stated priority 2 day shipping. I hope it will get here before the end of the week, I leave saturday.

Don't know where you ordered from, but I'm in CALI also. The way the USPS works around here is if you ordered from somewhere in the US there is a good chance you'll get it by Friday if they put it in the mail today. I don't know about elsewhere, but the USPS around here seems to interpret 2 day shipping as receive on the first day, take 2 days to transport, then deliver the next day. I always thought 2 day meant 2 days, but my USPS doesn't seem to agree.

Yea I have had extreme issues with USPS in the past, I really hope it gets here saturday or else I wont be able to use it for quite a while

my setup my 7 days old koa E-Nano, a G&G bubbler and a zippo for scale
btw I dropped the original bowl of the bubbler at the first day.. luckily I won't ever need it

Im 1 state over and USPS was blazing fast for me. Shipped on 1/13 @ 6PM, out for delivery 1/15

Ive tried cotton and ss wool. Only recently did i use the suggestion of another member i forgot and put the sswool between 2 basket screens. Makes everything cleaner looking. There will always be claim oil but i just clean with a qtip while its hot and put back on top of the basket screen. I think this is the best solution so far. Aroma pads are hard to get and expensive.

I have a spare GonG which I dedicated to concentrates. I use an Herbalizer Aromapad (stainless steel pad) stuffed into the GonG. I use it to vape reclaim mostly - had a few sessions this weekend pulling massive clouds using this setup. - Ran my Nano at 8.75 to 9 the whole time

I had issues with the concentrate running through the Aromapad when I was running at lower temperatures (around 8). But once I stepped it up to 9, the concentrate vaporized nicely without any "leaking"

How long do you guys wait to hit between temp changing? If going from like 5.5 -> 6

Its so nice being in an active thread on FC again, the volcano thread is usually pretty dead along with firefly and muad'dib. Glad Im part of such a popular community now as a soon to be log vape owner.

Shatter I go from 6-9.5. Depends on how big i want the clouds to be . Wax/crumble never over 8.5

Well I think you guys have convinced me to pick up a pack of those S+B SS oil pads in my next PV order. Can't for proper convection dabbing!

exactly how are you supposed to shape those things? They seem extremely thick

A pretty lazy day off, with just a few chores. Loving the nano on 5.5 and small loads. Not the most productivity, but better than doing all the chores first and waiting to vape up IMO. Also, better than getting vaked at 6.5+ and trying to get anything done. This usually doesn't work too well for me.

Even at 5.5, the nano can cause my mind to wander a bit. For some reason today, it keeps falling back to the amazing Epic e-pic. Think it was initially billed as a 4 in 1 tool, but I'd bet there are at least 10!

The original ones & a couple of my own below. Add yours!

1. Stirring
2. Tamping
3. Quick grind of nugs (across the letters)
4. Using the ledge/cut out to set screen depth
   
5. Pulling a hot GonG (if you have any of the older ones with the lip - pre silicone!)
6. Giving the dial a pry to pop it off and set numbers where you want
   
7. Using the heel ("E" end) to separate out very small piles in the stash dish for easily sucking up small loads

2 hits or when vapor fades. Will depend some on size of load and other factors. Rarely do this much anymore, though. Found that I enjoy the different buzzes from different temps, and lose this when bumping up. Came to the same conclusion I've seen a few others mention. Why not just start at your finishing temp? The taste is nice on the lower temp hits, but seems you get pretty much the same vapor production and to the same place over the long run with the load. Just takes a few more hits to do it.

Now, I prefer to keep the temp lower for a session or two and try not to "kill" the load. Take 2 quick hits and dump in small jar/vial. Do this with as many loads as work out while getting a little vaped and maintaining. Later on I dump the vial into what fresh is left in stash dish (or grind a bit more to mix) and crank the heat up 1 - 1 1/2 notches. First couple hits aren't quite as sweet as they would be with fresh at that temp, but is pretty close and works great for me. Seems to do best when at least 1/2 fresh to 1/2 lightly vaped abv. On my dial for me, setting usually about 5.5 early and 6.75 later.

Oops I actually meant how long does it take the Nano to come to temp, if moving from saying 5.5 -> 6.

Probably a matter of seconds if it's already warmed up imo.

You shouldn't need to do that - Only older Nano's with the pre-wired cord had prolems with paint wearing off. I believe the new replaceable PWM's have a new paint formula to prevent wearing off. Mine still looks good as new after 5 months of use

I had a hard time reading the dial numbers without my glasses so I took some white finger nail polish and marked a cpl of my sweet spots so now i can dial in much easier.

Strangely, my "6" was half faded/worn away when I received my Nano but it never bothered me. Haven't noticed any fading/wear during use.

I have GSC Purple (full jar)
6.5 is the perfect setting!
PARIS OG 7.0 no worries!

I need to try a higher setting for my concentrates, then... I had been going no higher than 6.5 - 7

How about hash? the black sticky stuff... is that higher temp, too?

Kief. WTF do I do with kief? I usually just sorta hide it in with other flower, but I'm not really getting what I'm expecting... does that need high heat, too?

Question, how would you compare your experience with the Evo and the Nano? I previously owned the evo but it was overkill/too fragile for my liking.

Think what others have said about newer dials is correct. Can't remember last time that issue came up. Andy seems to take care of those kind of things when he gets new stock of parts. But, clear nail polish holding up great on mine for past 8 - 9 months.

Using dots on your fav spots is a great tip, too. Have done this in past, but now just have a few choice spots marked on the glossy nail polish finish. Used thumbnail and e-pic to scratch a line in the finish (forgot that one.. #8!). Works great. Can just use the glare from a bit of light to see them.

Think that's low, but maybe not if going dry. I'd try 8 at least.

I go 8 - 8.5 for concentrates, but that's high as I like to go because of cotton. 9 brings bad cotton taste too fast, but would love to hang there or a little higher.

I like decent bubble hash on top of flowers at 7 - 7.5, or at 8 by itself on a couple screens if not too drippy. Have to use a little at a time on top of flowers or else they go popcorn too soon.

Kief from my 4 piece is best pressed, but like to make little tube sammiches too. Layer of flower, layer of kief, layer of flower. I'll usually step up with this. Couple hits at 5.5, couple at 6, mix and keep bumping it up until it is totally spent. Even when flower gets a little flat is still pretty tasty for a few hits. If I can gather enough to press without vaping it up, I make a piece about size of a dime. Break a little piece off and drop it in at 7. Leaves this tiny "charred" crystal that I throw into the next grind.
