Sorry for the double post just wanted to show the size compared to the Ophos.
Lol I remember thinking my Ophos was big when I got it, this thing looks like a stogie with a 1600 mah battery.

Too many conflicting views. But that last review got me excited, because I can't find anything that beats the 3.7 kiss for slow relaxing sessions.

do you know if the orb battery is the same size as the one you are using?

and how long have you had that ebay batt? It looks like a good deal!

I would think the orb battery would be smaller since its a lot less mah. But I don't know for sure the pictures on there web site make it look like it a decent size.

And its only been 2 days with this battery but it had good reviews on amazon so Im hoping it'll last a while.

Can anyone tell me if this one burns dry herb? I'm considering picking it up for the value and versatility but I really want a true vaporizer without burning up my dry.

If this one does what is another great recommendation similar in price that won't combust and tastes great?

Yes, it will burn your dry herb. I'm not aware of any device of this type that doesn't.

They have a new pen out that is supposed to be able to vape herb and oil. I'm waiting for more reviews before pulling the trigger. Hoping somebody here can chime in. http://www.sourcevapes.com/products/source-ghost-herb-multi-function-vaporizer?variant=976580803

I read reviews and watched a few videos on that one too. Few things that were mentioned was the hits were hot and somewhat harsh because the bowl is directly under the mouthpiece and like the other guy mentioned, it's basically an imag plus.

I have just got my Terra atomizers.

First impression is that they are very smooth giving more of a joint than a pipe experience.
If your turn them up a bit then they do get pretty hot and can give quite a hit.

Just wondering how far your guys/gals are turning them up. I have had them at 5V and they work well but I am wondering if I am going to burn them out very quickly.

I seem to enjoy mine at 3.8v. I take about a 7 second drag though. Some might like the volts higher for a shorter drag. I seem to get around 15-20 hits off a dab at 3.8, but I like that the option is there to take larger hits if I want to.

Hey everyone sorry to follow up so late- been busy with school. I didn't mean to dissuade anyone's purchases, just trying to be honest about my feelings and experiences with source. If one desires a low-temperature portable oil solution with a ceramic heating element and chamber, this product does work well, and is the only game in town that I know of (R.I.P. Thermovape :(

If you're ok with high start-up costs, I would say grabbing just the orb and a 5-pack of terra atomizers is a good call. I can't say the same about the 650mah battery that comes with the premium orb kit though- it looks nice, but 650mah just isn't enough. (at least in my experience). I recommend this:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Rechargeabl...t=LH_DefaultDomain_0&var=&hash=item418dea191d

a 1100 mah ego c-twist. It has the same functionality (3.2-4.8 volts in .2v steps), with nearly twice the capacity, and its less than $15 to your door (in the U.S. , but I saw similar deals in other countries) with a charger included.

If you're willing to spend a bit more, I would just get a variable box mod with a voltage mode that takes 18650 batteries (and a 510-ego adapter). even a 15w one will get the job done, and you can get them for 20-30 (though you will need batteries and a charger). This way you get even more battery life and more precise voltage control. just make sure you use it in voltage mode.

Happy vaping everyone :)

Anybody try both divine tribes ceramic donut and the terra? Just wondering about a comparison.

Wait how did someone manage TWENTY hits from a pea sized dab of wax?

I am disappointed with Terra so far. I feel like I am wasting wax using it. That on top of the 5 atomizers I got that don't work make me sad.

Same man, it's just do it for me. I'd rather use the signal coil and get the right amount of hard hitting and efficieny where as the terra is efficient but doesn't hit hard enough for me.

Not sure if it would make a huge difference for anyone or not but I'm using qwiso in my Terra and my stuff has a pretty runny viscosity, I always to seem to get at least 15 hits off a nice dab ( I usually put enough in to submurge the donut.)
I always get nice throat hits around 4.2 volts, There not lung busting hits by any means and ill only cough once or twice through out my session but that's exactly what I wanted the Terra to do. My wife has my Ophos now and we went out shopping today. I loaded both our pens with the same amount of oil before we left and we used the Ophos for the ride there. We got about
6-7 hits off the Ophos before it started tasting dry and vapor production ramped off a lot because most the oil ran into the bottom of the kiss cart like it always does.
On the way home we fired up the orb and had a longer session that lasted the ride home and even though the vapor production was lighter than the kiss carts, the consistency of the vapor stayed the same all the way down to the last few hits.
It really just depends what your looking for in a pen I guess. The terras not a heavy hitter but its efficient and preserves the taste pretty good imo

I was checking out those divine tribe donut attys that a couple people mentioned on here and it looks like they require a sub ohm Mod battery to run? (Someone correct me if I'm wrong on that)
But that could mean that the divine tribe attys might be better for the people looking for those harder hits.
Not 100% on that though Ive never tried the divine tribes personally.

I have been using my source orb for the last couple weeks. I'm new to pens, but have been doing convection dabs with the herbalizer. I got an extra attachment, it almost looks like a cartridge with a little plastic mouthpiece, does anyone know what it is? Also, if a atomizer starts tasting nasty can you soak in ISO?

I used the Terra with some clear concentrate and it was very tasty, just not the biggest hits. I seem to prefer the single wickless ceramic atomizer for most situations- tastes very clean and hits hard. I am usually around 3.8 and that seems to be my sweet spot as well.

I was new to vaping about a year ago. I've decided to venture into the Source Orb. It can with this variable voltage battery. Maybe I'm setting it wrong but my other battery which has no manuel settings does not give me a headache at all. This after 3 puffs with the variable voltage one I have a horrible one. I set it to a voltage of 3.6. I attached the source orb battery to an evod glass tank. I use a .5ohm double coil from kanger. Am I setting the voltage too high or low? I have a feeling the headache is caused by the wattage being out of whack which I can't adjust. I say it's better to have variable wattage over voltage, it makes more of a difference.

Or could be simply the atomizer's not meant for the Source Orb Batteries? Too powerful of a battery?

Okay, looks like my post was merged with this thread not sure why. My question isn't specifically about the source orb 650 mAh battery. More pertaining to all Varible Voltage batteries. My Kanger 650mAh (fully automatic) gave me thicker smoke and no headaches even after 10 hits. The VV Source Orb 650mAh battery after about 2 or hits I start to get a massive headache and smoke is noticeably thinner although more favorable. It's probably me not knowing how to use a VV battery. What voltage should I put it on to get thicker smoke and no headache. Could also be I was using a .5 ohms kanger double coil atomizer. Maybe not ideal when using the Source orb Battery. Any help would be much appreciated.
