Hey guys,

I currently own a MFLB with PA and a flowermate v5s and really want to get a desktop one.
I will use it mainly alone or in small group, and would like to spend 200 eur max. I've narrowed my choice to either DBV or enano and have a hard time to choose

any help would be appreciated

cheers

Welcome!

You've made some great choices!

The two vapes you chose are great vapes - of different designs. The DBV is a whip vape while the nano completely is not.

Do you plan to connect your vaporizer to water? If so perhaps the Nano would provide a better overall flavor?

I have used my Nano several times in a 'group setting' full of people who do not vape (pure combusters) - we had 7 people at the table and one Nano. I had to stir between hits, but this is no problem. Typically I find in a group setting, it's best to refill the Nano after 3 solid hits (so everyone get's a nice milky hit, otherwise the end of the group gets a very wispy hit).

For what it's worth the nano is smaller than you think. It is approximately the size of a small redbull can - it pairs VERY well with bubblers. If you plan on water filtration, this would probably be an easier route.

(The DBV is no slouch by any means, but it's a different beast. I personally have no interest in whips) - NOTE. Between the two, I only have experience with the Nano - I have not yet had my grubby paws on a a DBV or SSV in real life, so my knowledge of them is limited.

I like to call them the best invention of last century and the best of this one (so far).

Many thanks for the feedback you all!
To be honest never used a whip before and not to sure if I will like it, so I'm leaning toward the e-nano.
one stupid question though, I'll certainly use it with the direct draw stem, but as far as I can see the bud is kept within the tube with aspiration, meaning that when the bud become dry (hence less sticky) and I stop drawing, it will fall off within the nano, isn't it ? or do I have to remove the stem keeping the nano upside down? how easy is the nano to clean ?

once again thanks

Yes, your assumptions are correct - these were my hesitations as well.

The herb is contained in the glass stems or GonGs

In general the Nano is best when used upside down or horizontal. Though some use a second screen to 'sandwich' the herb between two screens, though I've never done this because I'm too lazy.

When hitting the Nano dry, I prefer to use my custom steamroller piece, or my J-hook with a 14mm GonG stem so I can keep my Nano inverted the whole time I'm using it (I'm really OCD about ABV blowback - probably more than I need to be)

Though 90% of the time, I'm really using my Nano on a bubbler for massing milky rips. So I never have a problem with ABV falling on my heater :science:

Hold it sideways and insert the stem and hit it like that, then you'll be fine.

Maybe a bit offtrack and surely a noob question but, as I've never used either water or dry attachment, what would be the main difference as user experience (except glass vs "plastic") between using a whip and for instance a J-hook ?

Not really sure what you're asking..... - I don't like whips because I don't care for the taste of them. Nor do I want to replace them every several months once they get too nasty - it comes down to personal preference.

For me, I like using my Nano with a glass GonG (adjust-a-screen version to reduce ABV dust falling into the water). I have several of the same sizes so when one get's to dirty with reclaim, I soak it in some everclear to extract the reclaim and then rinse off and put back into my pile of spare stems.

i have (won) a DBV and that thing will blow your socks off. i love it. i had been wanting a desktop for sooo long, and i won a portable vape PEN, about a year ago, but where i signed up for this giveaway, they had a pic of a DESKTOP vape (the vaporise). so i sent em a message saying i didnt think it was right they mislead us to believe we were winning a desktop vape and not a pen "vape," and after about 10 minutes of talking, the lady gave in and said "since this was our fault, well give you the choice of the pen, a DBV, or the extreme Q. im SOOO glad i picked the DBV! its a GREAT vape. i believe the only vape id want besides the DBV would be the SSV, its older brother! :brow:

ps- and the whip, all you do is clean it when wanted! not like u need a brand new 1 every week. even w the whip, u can still set it up for water filtration.
