Make sure your stems are clean for the best taste and less smell. The top section screws off pretty easy, if you wanted to clean around the metal part that surrounds the oven. Shake it to see if any particle fly out. You could use some ISO with a qtip to clean inside and out.
I wouldn't tear it apart you will void the warranty.

You boys are always trying to tear things apart.;)

Suit yourself, I prefer borosilicate glass pieces myself and my chinese pieces are great and perfect for all my vaporizers.

cool. honestly i thought chinese glass was questionable regarding quality and safety. lack of quality control...?

suppose i am wrong eh?

ill still stick with boro.

ah yep, the stems are clean and qtiped the oven with iso, still giving off the popcorn smell, pretty strong actually. hard to be stealthy with this smell.

i just prefer boro.

Great. You're in luck then since it's almost certainly Borosilicate, as it basically all laboratory type glassware. It's coefficient of expansion (how much is changes size with temperature) is a fraction of soda/lime glasses. Better yield by far.

It would be a rare exception of you found other glasses in laboratory type stuff, things like flint or quartz glass windows for instance. But if it's 'blown' expect Borosilicate.

You know most Chinese glass is also Borosilicate http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Borosilicate_glass
Unless it is soft glass I suppose

Naw, not to worry. Laboratory glass is Borosilicate by default.

For that matter, so is 'cheap' window glass these days. Borosilicate floated off on a pool of melted Tin of all things, so called 'Borofloat'.

Ok fellow vapor enthusiasts, I need opinions (or maybe justification) on this.
179 shipped, from an authorized reseller, two year warranty, and comes with a spare battery.
Now, I have the pinnacle pro, the titan 2, a DB and MFLB.......but I feel the urge to add to my collection and its so versatile.

Day and a half left on that sale, would you fine folks jump on that if you were me?
I think that's what credit cards and low interest rates are for....

Contact puffitup to see if they will match the price. They normally do. The ebay seller is authorised and has a good reputation, but if anything goes wrong with your Air, puffitup will just send you a new one as soon as you return the faulty unit to them - no messing around with Arizer.

I wonder if puffitup offers a free battery as well?

Edit: Great call!
Randy from PIU matched the price, threw in the extra battery, and free shipping.
Responded in minutes, sent the invoice right after I linked him to the other seller.
Stellar Service!

I did that today as well (great minds think alike?). #silverair

My air gave up on me yesterday.
With a freshly charged battery, I put it on red and it gave me about a minute after the blue
light stopped blinking and then the blue light blinked a few times erratically and then
it just stopped, lights out. I tried it a few times, always same result.
It does the same with the other battery so it's not the battery.
Anything I can do? I bought it from the arizer website.
Is there any solution for this problem or does this mean the air is ready for the
garbage can? (can't sent it back to Canada, it'll cost me more than a new air)
thanks

Anybody know how shipping is from PIU? I'd like to receive the air next week when I'm off work and still recovering from this pesky appendix thing.
I tried to email Randy and see if I could pay now just for expedited shipping if it hasn't left yet (no tracking # received yet) but no response yet this morning.

On another note, since I believe I read its 14mm would the air mouthpiece work with my DLX water tube? I definitely could use the filtration, if not any affordable recommendations?

Often astonishingly fast. Last year I had a normal (USPS First Class) shipment in my hand in less than 24 hours! No lie, from the time stamp on my order to the guy ringing the bell was under one day. It only had to come about 100 miles to get here, but this is the PO we're talking about here........

Shipping out the say of the order is more or less standard.

If you've already ordered it I'm confident you'll get it next week (provided he has stock), in fact, I'd give even money on this week?

Sorry to hear you're having troubles, but IMO not having your new Air there to share the misery isn't part of that. Get well soon.

Thank you sir, I just got my tracking number so it looks like it's going to be on its way. I'm thinking I'll have it next week, I'm in IL.
I'd think your 24 hour experience is not going to be standard lol.

Very true, the last statement. I have other vapes I thoroughly enjoy..... but I certainly want to try the Air. I really trust Arizer, I've had a solo and extreme q before.
Thank you also for your condolences/well wishes.
Any opinions on cheap glass that would fit the mouthpiece or do you think I should bite the bullet and get, say, a PV solo gong?

Yep. Like that. My opinion really hasn't changed much in the last two days......

I was thinking about finding something a bit different, I have the DLX tube already with my pinnacle and that'll work as well, so something a bit more intricate maybe

Sure, that should work? Or a PVWT or F-bomb? Either will fit the plastic topped stems just fine (although unlike the small light bubbler above it's probably a 'two hand deal' as the threaded part of the Air stem isn't all that strong). The MP is sized and shaped just for this.

Or invert it and stick it into most any female 14mm GonG equipped WT, or 18mm ones with a reducer.

Lots of options.

No charge.

Best wishes for speedy recovery......or at least useful distraction between now and then.

If the DB and Ppro count for the weekend, with Netflix of course, I think it's suitable distraction till the Air arrives. Plus there's this lovely forum, and a few novels on my Kindle to read. I'm set
