Discontinued Daisy vaporizer by Triihouse

Hey vaporonly,
Your technique and sensitivity have saved you from jumping around trying to hold on to the hit.
I try ,but get greedy and end up wasting most of the hit!
I've matured over the last few days ,and I must say that the hits are smooth and the taste is woody but very good.
When I come home from work , the daisy is such an easy set up that my other vapes go wanting.

Does anyone else wonder if part of the smoothness of the Daisy comes from the moisture by product of the butane flame?

(reminded of the forum user who made their own custom vapor genie)

Wow , I kind of remember Triihouse , in defense of butane pollution, saying that the only by product of the butane flame was carbon dioxide and water vapor, so there may be something to your theory of water vapor making the hits so smooth. Interesting thought.

yeah I thought it of when I noticed the mouthpiece tube seemed to have a fair amount of moisture in it...more then I have ever seen in say the whip/stem of my SSV

My face is melting...
The Daisy likes to be ridden hard and put away wet.

Actually I have noticed the amount of condensation that is left behind in the turkey neck and have thought that it might mildew or mold if not ventilated properly.

Hey guys! Long time FC stalker and now first time poster! I am actually one of the first owners of the Daisy and have had a few really great interactions with Tommy, it's amazing what good customer service does to a users experience. So I guess now that I've humble bragged a bit I should actually ask my question. Your modification @u bwade wunner is the thing that finally made me cross over, so a question for you: Did you have to mod the daisy (widen it from the look of it, and maybe a liner of some sort?) in order to fit that 29x18mm joint? And where did you get the joint?

Here's my plan:

My buddy and I hooked up the whip attachment to @Ratchett 's 18mm Indica SonG and then to a 14mm Hydrotube recently and got amazing amazing results. With your 18mm joint and a 18-14mm male to male adapter I could hook up the hydrotube without the need for the whip and have a hydrotube daisy! The ultimate dream!

Any help is good help. I was also thinking of asking Tommy if he could widen me a second mouthpiece block to just shove a whole hydrotube with O ring right into it, same idea.

Thoughts? Help? Thanks in advance!

Is this a must own vaporizer? I like the form factor.

Does it give you an experience like no other?

O.k, so we all know that 1 particular vaporizer would not be suited to everyone as we all have our own preferences & requirements when it comes to picking a vape, HOWEVER, if you do not mind using butane as a heat source & you are looking to add to your flower vape collection, then at this price point in my opinion choosing Daisy is a no brainer.

The last 17 pages so far are a testament to Her good works.

And yes, I would say as many before me have stated - Daisy's sig is pretty darn big, perhaps more like a stamp. BOOM! :ko:

Hi there & Welcome to FC.

I had to bore a minimal amount out of the sidewall of Daisy s mouthpiece section. the adapter sat 1/2 inch or so proud of the daisy body before i modified it.Its a scientific glass adapter that I picked up on ebay cheap. The adapter also had a crude lip on the bottom below the gong that I removed with a diamond cutter.I fitted a heat resistant thin silicone oring around the adapter which helped to jam the adapter home solid.
I know planetvape make custom glass adapters in 29mm so if You give them dimensions they may be able to make a slimmer adapter that will fit straight in Daisy without having to alter anything.the adapter i recieved was heavy walled glass so I had to take a skew to it.
I have tried a HT with daisy, just prefer dry for taste and the feedback I get.

Whats youre routine with Glass and daisy?....any charring through water?

I think Tommy will be around here sooner than later:)

It might be overkill for someone with a low tolerence and maybe not the best choice for someone who is trying to conserve their stash.

Considering your sig though, I'm going to tell you to just say no....but I'd do it.

I decided I must have (I like to self justify my purchases-vas weakness) because I am not into conserving herbs (only if I am dry for the evening). It seems like their are 3 major players in the butane powered vapes: daisy, lotus, and vapor genie. But this looks like the most fun. If I like this one, I'll prob end up buying all 3.

Damn, forgot about vapman

@mixchu69 you forgot about the hammer of course for the butane powered beasts.

And yes daisy implies heavy clouds from large amounts!

I paired the daisy to water whith a male/male 18mm sating between the two large oring you have with the basic kit. i had medium result because the bubbles prevented the whistle. went with the f-bomb as usual.

And the whistle is a bit of the soul of this vape, meaning a steady vibration and stretching flame.

a friend combusted from a too large flame setting of mine. for burnt flavor, it seems the wood forgave it more than glass does.

I have been waiting on my Daisy for a couple weeks, Tommy says they were waiting for some parts to come in (lighters, etc) before they can ship out new orders. I am patient and in no rush, but I am very eagerly anticipating getting to try this out. My only other experience with a torch vape was a Sublimator UFO, which is a lot more extreme and dangerous than the Daisy (I used a propane plumber's torch for the sub), but looks like Daisy gives similarly strong dense vapor that I appreciate.

Looking forward to checking out this baby's vape signature. Will provide a review here once I've had sufficient time to put her through the paces.

Hey @basement farmer :)

Admittedly it's easy to toast a good pinch in one visit with a high enough flame and a good poke at the intake stem. But by the same token, I find 3-4 flavorful hits not uncommon with a less aggressive flame, stirring after each.
Plus I can sometimes find myself putting her down between hits which can definitely stretch out a load quite considerably.

Of course, perspectives of 'stash conservation' vary wildly so all I can say is, 3-4 nice hits from a fairly fat pinch ain't doin too bad in my book.

What do you think?

Daisy definitely reminds me of smoking a wooden pipe from back when I was 17 more than any vape I've tried.

I find the process so rewarding that I tend to want to do it over and over. good call farmer, yes like driving a big block, hard to drive it slow. I get this way with my SSV too so it's not only a 'fault' of the Daisy.

VegnVape I agree, the Daisy is one of those products that reminds me of simpler days.

I can blast the amount I put in in 1 big and 1 small shots but that is also dependent on material quality.

In my mind the butane vapes that allow visual feedback are going to be easier for beginners to use.

Been searching for a while and have narrowed it down to MFLB, Vapman, and, after lots of reading, the Daisy.

Natural materials and semi portability are important to me. Other than that, and dry herb, no other preferences.

How would you say this ranks vs the other i mentioned?

I have had the mflb for over 4 years and while I love it , the daisy has placed my mflb as an outside ,in public vape.
The daisy is so easy to use that it lends itself to be at the top of the batting order. While some of this might be new vape syndrome, I've had the daisy for two months and the love affair continues.
There may be a longer shipping period due to demand.
