Regarding me complaining about the VapMan lighter earlier in the thread.
Today I got a new VapMan lighter, and it works like a charm!
Somethings must've been wrong with the batch of lighters me and my friends got, because I see now that several of them had many issues this lighter does not have.
I post this in case people read my complaints and don't want the original lighter.
My recommendation: buy the lighter

I am still kicking myself for not getting the vapman torch sooner...that thing is a beast and i am loving that fat ass tank. I can go for days without filling up!!!Regarding me complaining about the VapMan lighter earlier in the thread.

I was lighterless for the week. Even though I used the lovely Firefly, the quirky but cool when not grumpy Pinnacle Pro and the sturdy old timer Da Buddah Vape extencively to try to fill the gap my beloved Vapman left in it's absence, I've been lost with out it.

I've said it before and I say it again:
This is the only vape I've owned that at session's end I sit there and marvel at it.
This thing is a work of functional art. Granted, a bit more artsy after you laser engrave it, but still a work of art.
And I agree about the lighter too.

I heard that. Some sort of Steampunk Lunar Lander..... Elegant in design, faultless workmanship, novel materials, well thought through. No compromises.
I think I feel the same about some of the Thermo Vape products as well. Although they have a very sterile (rather than Steampunk) character about them. Nothing organic there.
I agree, "functional art" is the correct term.

Just curious. Does anyone think this video benefits the Vapman in any way?
Maybe it's just me but it seems like it could do more harm than good. The guy puts the Vapman to his lips for a nanosecond and then spews smoke like Smaug (around the 2:50 mark, I think).

The reason he shows the vapor production is because that's a major selling point for some. It's obvious to most that he previously filled his mouth with vapor. The video really doesn't do the Vapman any justice (it doesn't even seem like he's used the unit more than a couple times before filming). The company is only hurting themselves by lying in their official videos.

Good God, I hope VM didn't pay them for that. Or give them a test unit. I agree, they are not helpful. Stuff like "be sure to cover the 3 small holes" is pure BS and ignorantly counter productive.
Did you notice the bit at the very end, 'to get even more inside secrets, BUY a "Vape Squad" membership from us' part? Reminds me somewhat of the Marx brothers selling race track tips.....and selling LOTS of guides?
Save your money guys, don't buy memberships. Save your friends guys, don't recommend that video......

OMG! This is insane.
First there's the video that recommends heating the tunes and now this craziness...
I agree, this guy has never really used the Vapman.
There's no need to fake vapor at all.
There are plenty of YouTube videos showing people producing decent vapor and if they wanted to show a big cloud, they just had to heat it aggressively - that's all.
This is frustrating...

I don't know what the best of thread is, but I was thinking that you could post a video showing us how to use the Vapman with concentrates, hash, etc. since you are the master on that area.

I spent a whole night reading the thread for any tips to improve the Vapman experience. I personally think it should be easier to view reviews, advice on operating/cleaning, updates from the manufacturer, and information on new accessories. Not just for this thread, but for all of them. I really like the "best-of" idea in general.

I would love to, but I'm in this weird place where I can't risk it. It's like EVERYBODY in my life knows I like cannabis... Family, friends, people in my professional life. And they are all okay with it, but I still live in a very prohibitionist country

I think the 'best of' idea might be useful, at least to some, but that remains to be seen. I think it might need serious editing, and of course folks willing to use it. We'll still have the same old 'search is a POS, and besides I'm too busy, so someone just tell me' posts I fear? For some a few hundred posts is as big a hurdle as 10,000. Time will tell.

After seeing this video, I feel this might be a portable alternative for using my nail and rig. While reading this thread, people like to use it with concentrates and seem to enjoy the experience. Unlike nail and rig, don't need to torch for long time, no exposed ti/Quartz nail, very small in size, won't look like I'm hitting a crack pipe (my non vaping friend said I looked like a junky especially when I use my Quartz banger.
How would ppl compare the experience with a rig and nail? Thanks for any input.

I cannot compare it to a nail and rig...the vapman is the first vape i ever dabbed with...the vapman broke my cherry in the world of concentrates and since using the vapman for concentrates i cannot imagine using a nail rig...the only other thing i would dab with would be my hammer, i hear you can get some nice convection dabs using the stem and some SS wool.
