Where is the best site to purchase the wear and tear set for the mighty? I was hoping that they sell the minivap accessory kit too, so I can get it shipped in one package.

How many sessions are you guys getting before you feel the need to clean? The cleaning does seem a little cumbersome, but if the Mighty only requires cleaning every 20 or 30 sessions or so it wouldn't be a deal breaker to me. I'm beginning to think I'm just lazy..LOL..

The dabbing with iso doesn't work for me, I do 10 plus sessions per day.

I soak my disassembled cu without o rings in iso for 20 mins, then rinse with hot water , also dip o rings in iso for a moment then wash with water.
I soak mouthpiece in iso also.

I use a fresh one every day or every other day. The cleaning is easy cuz the design is very good, it really does not take much time or effort.

I bought my set directly from S&B

get a wear and tear pack, they include a cooling unit. (or just get a couple spare cooling units)
if one requires cleaning just use the others until you can clean the dirty one.

I get through about 6 full bowls a day. I clean the cooling unit around once every 2 weeks.

Also, if you buy superfine screens for the cooling unit and replace the fairly wide-mesh ones that come as standard, flow remains exactly the same, but the amount of particulate that makes it into the cooling unit is dramaticaly reduced.

When cleaning, I remove all the o-rings and then drop the whole cooling unit into some ethanol in a glass jar and let it soak for 1 or 2 minutes. I do this immediately after a session, so the liquid reclaim is already soft and loose. Once I have enough in there, I then just evaporate the ethanol to the right consistency and use it as green dragon.

i purchased a mighty and sold it to a friend after one month of use. wasn't satisfied with it
it was more conduction than i had anticipated. the loads seemed to cook fast (although evenly) and waste some. when the unit was heating up i would take off the cooling unit and see vapor escaping from the bowl before i even took a hit. it also affected the taste too much negatively for me. i thought it would taste like a portable silver surfer, but it didn't. it wasn't too far off though. it's still mostly convection. imo it tasted like a cross between convection and conduction but definitely more than the "slight" conduction i had heard about it. felt more like 70% convection 30% conduction to me

i bought an extra cooling unit and did the same mod that someone here on fc did using a 18/14 reducer and jb weld. it didn't milk up the piece as much as i hoped, and i tried everything (max temp, concentrate pad etc)
i got bigger hits using it dry
my previous vapes include both conduction and convection vapes- silver surfer, solo, enano, mflb
(the enano and mflb belonged to a friend but i used them regularly)

i ended up selling the mighty to a friend for 450 so at least i got to try it out for cheap
even though it wasn't the vape for me i was still impressed with the build quality, materials, etc
that plastic is tough
when i cut the cooling unit to make the mod i had to use a serrated knife and it took me nearly an hour to saw all the way through it

Just goes to prove once again that no matter how many positive reviews a particular vaporizer gets, there is no vape on the market that is the perfect choice for everyone.

yep. i never even seen one in person before so i had to base my decision from reading and watching other people's opinions on the device when i should've gone with what i know i like in a vape, which is full convection.

I did the same thing. Read every post here in the forum and everything I could online and I am still loving this thing. It has worked flawlessly since the day I got it. I am actually going to sell my verbalizer because the Mighty is just to damn convenient and for my needs suits me better!!!!!!!

Which one is the verbalizer you speak of? Never heard of it, has it been in the market long?

The Verbalizer . . . the new vape everyone is talking about . . .

Verbalizing takes vaporizing to a whole other level. A groundbreaking game changer.

That's awesome! It's really not that much more difficult to clean than other Vapes and if cleaning is only required after 50 bowls or so it's no big deal. Thanks for your detailed post...

I get a nice buildup too. Its really cemented around the inside top and bottom piece. I have like a small credit card type tool for sraping up dust etc. Use this type of tool as best you can, chip away at it and keep those nice chunks, dump em in with your next load. I haven't got it super clean, but managable for sure.

I think eventually I will soak it in hot water and it should clean up 100%

hot water won't help you man, the actives in that resin are not water soluble! We need a lipid substance, perhaps a soak in warm coconut oil could do the trick, make for some delicious edibles too!

I'll have to look into using terpenoids as a solvent to clean this grinder too, I have 2 grinders so can experiment a bit ;)

I'll report back once I've had the chance!

How water actually works pretty well because it melts the hardened gunk. I use a toothbrush and hot water to clean mine. The grinder is vulnerable to solvents like iso and will "cloud up" if you leave in iso for more then a few moments.

I scrape as much as I can with this small credit card tool i have, then the plan was to let it sit in hot soapy water and now a toothbrush ^thx Elmomuzz^

Ill just make sure not to use it on my teeth after, may not go over well with the wifes friends :leaf:mister herb grill
