Ok guys update time for flexo.

After lots of testing and I mean lots of testing the flexo is getting a new heater. Now the current flexo model is good and we can put it out for sale it's not what we want. We are developing another heater type that will be much better and give you the capability to larger dabs if you wish.

Let's hope next month engineers can make a miracle happen.
Is surface area the limiting factor for the size of the dab? If I rolled a long snake of oil, could I feed that slowly into the heater or is there some other factor that would prevent doing so? I probably don't take more than 0.05g per dab but I know a lot of dabbers in the scene are all about the massive dabs.

I'm guessing it's going to be the issue of heat loss when a large dab is put onto the nail.

Remember, most enails compensate for loss of heat from this kind of thing because they have a sensor measuring the temperature (with varying degrees of accuracy) and electronics that will provide compensatory power/heat to mitigate this issue.

The flexo as I understood originally was to be a ceramic heater powered at a single, stable voltage set via the core. AFAIK there was not yet a mechanism to compensate heat loss in the flexo from either a large dab getting placed onto the nail or say a low ambient temperature (imagine dabbing outside in the snow) etc.

I may not be 100% on this but this is my first guess after reading what G said.

for that price i could get one of those expensive enails.

What led you to believe that it would be cheaper than any of the rest of the enails out there? The entire point of the Flexo is for it to be the absolute ultimate e-nail for taste, utilizing an all glass airpath. Imitation comes cheap, innovation comes with a price.

450 just for the top?

I think you may have your products confused. The Flexo isn't a top for the Persei or Omicron, it's an enail that is meant to be used on a standard rig and it consists of three or four separate parts: the heating element (the still unreleased upgraded ceramic rods), the switch, the quartz nail itself, and The Core which is UP Tech's plug in pass through system. As of the last I heard, The Core will be being utilized as the control box and The Core itself is currently listed at $100 for retail. Hope this clears things up a bit.

but on the video its the core connected to the persei top to a wire or something. so what size is the connection to the water pipe?
