I think I remember reading that some places run out of stock and instead of listing it OOS they'll just change the price really high. That or money laundering?

Just wanted to share a little with everybody - I've been using highly-ground material with my MFLB, generally using a standard grinder and transferring to a pill crusher for extra fine powder.
I decided to try a large batch with the coffee grinder and letting the powdered herbs dry out even more (they were pretty dry before -- stored with Boveda 54% packs) and its even better!
Combined with a fresh battery, its just as satisfying as my other units (Solo, Firefly).

I too am a big fan of coffee grinders and usually do a couple grams at a time. I then weigh out charges into small screw top glass vials. .12 to .13 grams per (1/8 of a gram), the perfect 'trench full' ready for instant use. For travel I carry a couple of those vials and a spare battery or two in a four AA cell case.
The weighing actually goes pretty fast. I made a little scoop that dumps nearly the full amount then add a bit to bring it in range. A funnel makes getting it all in the vial easy. It's easy to do four a minute.
I don't know what coffee grinder you're using but mine has a flat window that collects kief in grinding by static charge, I use a 'camel hair' brush to sweep it into a tin for special occasions.

You know, someone tried to deter me away 2 years ago from getting a MFLB saying, "its too much of a hassle." Well, I ignored them and bought one any way. Glad I did. When you call this little guy up to bat, he hits home runs everytime; for me at least.

I used to be a fan of pregrinding my stash or a couple grams, but then I found it too convenient. All I gotta do is dump it in and good to go. When I realize I gotta take out the FG, take out the stash, break apart little pieces, make sure the trench is just right, I tend to be a little more conservative, especially if I'm already medicated. Unless conserving is of no importance, and thats always acceptable as well.

Which coffee grinders do you guys use? I've been thinking about using one for quite some time just so I can grind a batch and let it dry faster. I have a Space Case and the MFLB FG, I use the FG daily. Only thing that sucks about the FG is that if the material isn't completely dry it gunks it up.

Not really. I use an artist's ('camel hair', usually squirrel IIRC) brush to sweep mine out. SS bowl and blades, brushes clean easily. Kief seems to collect on the flat window by static electricity, that gets brushed into a tin for special sessions.

DO the flowers get into any of the little crevices of moving parts like the blade?
Yes, it is a consumer grade device with a armature extending into the grinding compartment so there is some blow by that occurs but not so much that I have been alarmed. Also as OF pointed out retrieving the product remaining in the mill after a grind is fairly easy with the right brushes, heck in a pinch a toothbrush or even the cleaning brush that came with your MFLB will do.
You might consider letting the product set out to dry for a day or so before the grind. It seems to make brushing out the grinder a bit easier. One hint, electric grinding is quick so if you want to get the small pieces of stem out of the bud out of the grind you have to sieve it real early in the grind otherwise the stems get reduced with the rest of the bud.

I had one of those before the current one. I got tired of fighting the area under the hub (which does collect herb), which is why I changed and now recommend the Proctor Silex one instead. FWIW I also had trouble with the linterlock switch. Sometime it was hard to get on because of dust, once (and only once......) it stuck on. I pulled the plug, cleaned it out, trashed it and went shopping.
IMO an OK grinder, but better designs (more open) are available.

Cool. Yer welcome.
Just keep an eye on sticky stuff around that switch button. I'm not a coffee drinker, but suspect Java beans don't stick the switch button up like 'dank herb' does....... For me, that was 'the weak link'.
Oh, BTW, have a plan ready better than the one I tried. When it kept running I pulled the top off anyway......sending the load into a carpet fouling cloud and leaving me looking at the spinning blades. Pulling the plug before (rather than after) lifting the top off is a better plan I think.

MFLB was my first vaporizer a couple years ago, with the Glyph batteries. it opened my heart to vaporization and is a great device. stealthiest one ive ever used. they're also a pleasure to work with if anything ever goes wrong with yours, warranty is best in the market.

The company is seriously awesome. New PA already arrived. Was helped by none other than Hobbit. I noticed they made an upgrade on the PA. There's an extra metal piece on the "battery" part of the adapter. It sits flush with the Box when seated. I notice the button takes far less effort to actuate the unit as well (not that it was super hard before).

Looks good! That connection between the cord and the faux battery always looked like a possible point of failure to me. Looks like they wanted to make sure it wasn't!
