SOLO Vaporized Cannabis is my Best Medicine
I wanted to buy the air, but now that I heard that vape xhale is coming out with a portable within the next 12 months I'm just going to save up for that. And if it doesnt come out maybe the air might be cheaper by then. But I'll stay with my solo and evo in rotation until then :)

I decided to wait awhile on the Air till the price drops a bit. Maybe I'll get lucky and catch a special when I have the money. I don't worry about the size so much and with new Solos selling for only $125.00, it's like two Solos for the price of one Air. With two Solos in rotation, I will have an easier time managing the batteries.

Meanwhile, I added a timer to shut off the Solo charger before the batteries reach the top.

I like having the two Solos in rotation, the 2014 upgraded version. I did buy the Air. You are smart to wait until the prices comes down. I bought it during the intro price for $199 through Arizer. It's a nice little portable. VAS took hold, couldn't resist the sale price.

I couldn't sleep, it almost 1:00 AM so I thought some Blue Dream + the Solo might hit the spot. I prefer the curved stock stem here lately with no screen. Just bumped the heat level to five, too lazy to get the bubbler out.

Ok is VAS vaporizer aquired syndrome? Isn't the air meant to be out and about, at concerts, parks etc. even as small as the solo is it isn't that good for that. I don't know what I'm doing for NOLA - trying to revive the pax or my really bad pen?

No kidding, some kid already snagged two of them :/

Yeah, but not before I ordered yet another one. I went with the $75 'good grade' rather than the $55 'poor' ones in the hopes of getting a pretty one. If so, I think I know just who I'm going to give it to (obviously someone I don't like $160 worth.....).

Great opportunity to get a backup or spread the good word. Kudos to Randy!

8:00 AM Pacific time and Puffitup still has open box Solos left for $55. If you don't have a backup Solo now is the time. That's how I bought my third Solo was through the "open box" sale. I've had no problems with it. It could be a belated Christmas gift to yourself.

They never look pretty once I get them. One for me, one for the fishin buddy.

You might luck out, I sure did. I ordered a silver one last time and got one without a scratch I could find, zero herb debris, very strong battery and no 'weed smell' at all. None. I suspect it was never even tried out?

The big question is, of course, who gets first pick? You or the fishing buddy?

"Cheap at twice the price" as a friend is fond of saying.

Boys, on the user manual of the solo there is written that you can recharge also with charger to 19 Volt. It is true? There you have never tried?

No, that's not what it says. It says 'there is a 19 Volt charger available'. It would still charge to about 8.4 Volts same as the mains or car charger does. Trying to charge to 19 Volts would be fatal on the batteries, so their protection PCB would prevent it.

And yes, I built such a charger (which should have been OK up to 36 Volts input). While the project I was working on didn't pan out overall, the charging part works just fine if you have an appropriate charge voltage out (it must supply 10.1 to 15 VDC for the old style which locks out at 10.1, the new style will give partial charges with lower output voltages).

In the fun way these things often work out, that prototype got it's output connector changed, 'retuned' to 9 VDC out and set to a different charge level and became my 'gadget' for the Ascent charging:

The stuff at the bottom is the (down) regulator to 9.0 Volts (could just as easily be 12), the upper part is an older 'gadget' prototype (also retasked.....).

I searched DHGate untill i found a nice 14mm bubbler...yes harder to find than an 18 but i do beleive 18mm gongs are available...heres my setup...i have posted it before

What do you mean by 2 glass flowers? Like those glass screens with 4 holes? To make the bowl smaller?

Do you have a link to this bubbler on Dhgate? I can't find any 14mm bubblers similar to it

hey guys got a question for anyone who might have any idea or experience. i have a solo that i have used almost every day for probably near three years. its a m107 i also have a 18ml gong adapter not a high efficency just regular.

ok so i am about to order a new solo my m107 is still going strong. but i want another one. i also am getting one of those y adapters from planet vape . so im wondering if because the new solos have the improved draw resistence.. should i maybe get the high eficency gong and use it with the old solo and the regular with the new solo, to try and even them up so i am getting roughly the same flow from both ? is ther a better way for this to work i only have the one m107 so im not familar with how much of a difference there is between the two . would i be better to just get another regular gong would the be better ? thanks for any tips or advice
