I did a little test on the battery life of my Solo not long after I got it. Thought I'd share it now. This was done at heat setting 5 for all sessions.

Session - Battery Level at start of session.
1 - Full
2 - 6
3 - 6
4 - 5
5 - 4
6 - 3
7 - 2
8 - 2
9 - 2
10 - 1
11 - Solo turned off 6 minutes into this session.

@Uzer That's close to what I had with my Solo when I first got it. Around 2 hours of battery life. I still probably get 7 - 12 min sessions with my Solos and 1 is 6 months old and the other is about 8 months.

I've been trying to adhere to @OF s advice about taking care of ones battery. My fav temp is heat level 4 and then bump up to 5 at the end of my session. I go higher with the D020 bubbler.

I'm very happy with the battery life with both units. One of the Solos I bought for $55 through Puffitup. It was one that had been sent back and repaired, so really, the one that's 6 months old could be older. They are both the 2014 models. Look every so often at Puffiup it's called a Last Call sale, you'll see it.

Interesting, I'd love to get another solo for that price and build a larger battery to put in it. Thanks for the tip.

Not very likely if you've seen the inside of the Solos already. There's two cells with some tabs welded on (thermal fuses or some such for temperatures) and it's a tight fit even with Centizen's extended battery pack. Best we can do for a lot of extra life is build or buy an external brick charger type of thing.

Well did 3 bowls on 3 this morning with some coffee. Not very intoxicated but very high. Mostly head and arms are feeling it. Pretty surprised usually do 6+ on level 7. About as high as I want to be before work
That's gotta be harsh on the battery..?

I have the flu and this is the first time in years ive gone a day without that good good...

So ill be here..sober...reading FC ...dreaming of my Solo with freshgreens through my bubbler :nope:

As far as battery goes I agree roughly a session every level..I ussualy get about 6 sessions than charge up because I dont love using the Solo on low battery...Almost every session is a double tho...3 25 minute sessions? Im not complaining at all

I must say I almost never use my pinnacle watertool anymore since I got my bubbler from DHGate... The PNWT is dope...but id suggest an upgrade when u feel like you want more bubbles and a huge hit!
Do you need a different size gong adapter in order to use the solo with a bubbler off of dhgate? I know the PWT is 14mm but most of the bubblers I've seen on dhgate are 18mm.

With the pwt you dont necessarily need a gong......the stock stem is not a perfect fit but it will work....the wooden @Ed's TnT stems fit into a 14mm female joint.....and there are plenty of 14mm pieces on dhgate.....do a little research and you'll find them....

Btw.....the gongs on planet vape can be 14mm on both sides or 14 on the solo side and 18mm on the other side so it can be used with an 18mm water pipe......took me a minute to figure that out....

Lovin my solo....

By bigger I meant higher capacity. I think it's possible to step up to 3200mah from the current ~2400

If you use a water tool you may want to buy a GonG. You can get those through Planetvape or through @VaPeD&CoNfUsEd JoDa Glassworks. Look under glass section on FC. He does specialty glass mouthpieces. He has the GonGs that fit the Solo. @Ed's TnT makes wood stems and GonGs if you like the wood. I have several of Ed's pieces. He does some really nice work. Visit both sub threads

With the Solo you really get more bang for the buck. For $160 you still have enough left to buy accessories or some nice top shelf.

I recently got my medical license in Canada and have some primo OG Kush, Amnesia Haze, Rockstar and Green Crack on the way to me :D That's why I caved and decided to grab the Solo for portable, got the 'cano at home along with a CRZ (needs a new power cord) I'll look into the GonG adapters
