Two questions:
2. Anybody know of any small, smellproof (mesh-like) cases for the Solo? I want something I can pack up quickly and toss in my backpack, but will not emit any odor. All I've seen are big, plastic, briefcase looking cases that would be wayyy too big for transportation (I travel a lot).

Thanks for any help guys!

Im ordering a PVHE GonG, the only problem is i dont know which one to get? Regular, shorty, turbo, ect.

I want to do full water sessions. Im not sure which one would be the best? Paried with SOLO+D020. Can anyone one with PVHE GonGs weigh in?

Edit: I didn't notice, pretty much all out of stock. That website is ALWAYS out of stock on SOLO things...its like they make them and that's it. They dont read sales reports: look at turns, velocity or anything, at least for SOLO accessories.
anyone's help would still be appreciated for when ever PV get items back in stock.

First time poster here and I thinking of purchasing a solo. I was just wondering if there is a high failure rate on the newer models? I just don't want to spend money on something that is going to break every three months. Maybe I'm just paranoid...

Thanks any info.

They're solid as hell. Don't use while charging for max battery life.

Dependability is one of the solo's high points. Much more so than some Chinese made vape with cool marketing. The solo is well made.

Hey, been a couple of days with my new PHVE bits and wanted to share my thoughts:

Shorty stem (straight)
The difference in fit and airflow make the solo much better. Grinded a 0.07g load fills chamber without being compressed and much more what I wanted (less draws and end up not too high). Seems to heat more consistently so potentially more efficient the usual size chamber...

Turbo 18.8 gong
Meant to get 14.4 so would go with attachment and as I used to buy all my glass with 18.8 when smoking bongs, I tried with my 500ml EHLE with a 0.1g load. Worked well and make great cloud to fill bong. Worked way better than expected and again so much better airflow.

Overall, the slits on top of the chamber make all the difference. Using my solo all the time now as use less than volcano and these bits of glass made that far easier!

You can buy a wood mouthpiece or WonG through @Ed's TnT. I have a WonG with a turquoise inlay, it's the bomb, as well as a wooden mouthpiece the Granadillo. The 3 inch WonG I use mainly as a mouthpiece on the go.

I use the Arizer Air for on the go now. Check out the thread. Nothing beats the Solo in the portable market for home IMO.
yeah i wish i would have waited but i just bought the solo a few months ago. can't bring myself to spend the money on the air. thanks.

Just Got it last week. Quick question, I always use it on level 7 since I have a high tolerance But it makes me really sleepy after 6 bowls. Will vaping on 2-3 still get me as high but just not tired? Or will I just not be as high

Just get 2 regular PVHE GonGs for whatever size you need. See how you like those. The shorty is a smaller bowl size if you prefer that. The turbo is an open hole with a screen and a very easy draw.

A lot of people have good luck buy my last one(newer model) was a warranty replacement that broke after only a few months of light use and my first one only lasted 8 months. Probably just bad luck though as I currently have a 2+ year old model that I recently got from a friend who needed to get rid of his stuff that still works correctly and that battery hasnt even degraded to bad.

Try a session starting on 4 and go up to 5 about half way through. Don't go higher and you shouldn't get as sleepy a feeling. But honestly 6 bowls is alot. Are these all in a row? I think I'd be sleepy too.

I start at level 3 for 6 hits, then level 4 for 6 hits, then level 5 (or 6) for the remaining 6 hits depending on the quality. I also let it warm up until the level light stops blinking so much.

I have a mid level tolerance and 3 hits is one session for me. So ... one bowl is 18 hits or 6 sessions. Before vaping this same amount would have only lasted 2 to 3 sessions in a one-hitter. Viva La Vape!

Edit: Someone suggested using a flash light beam to blow into.... to see if there is any vapor still coming from a bowl. That's how I figured out, even when I couldn't see or taste anything, that there was still some happy left in there.

I vape on level 7 only. Anything lower doesn't give me the full spectrum high I'm after. I usually get 5 to 6 rips on a freshly loaded stem before getting bored. The ABV gets stored and re-vapped when I'm out of fresh weed. I get 4 to 5 rips from the ABV stem. Still get good cloud production with a decent high from the ABV.

With the heat on that high, how many sessions do you get per charge you'd say?
